I'm really disappointed in this company. I called for them to clear my drain pipe, and they charged me over $500 for that and fixing the overflow switch. Then told me i had a leak in the coil, and said i needed a new system. I got a second opinion and there was no leak. And i don't need a new system. And got quotes from several companies and each said they would've charged me $200-$300 for the services i needed. Tried to talk to the manager but never got a call back. Stay away from these folks. They take advantage of their customers.

Heed my warning with this company…when my family purchased and had the central air system installed by this company 6years ago this was a honest business with an honest owner. I’ve used them for maintenance for the past 5 years (even referred 2 more friends who had a 2 units installed) I didn’t know the company was sold to a crook named Arlin ( whom told me he would respond to this review however he had to ) they send 2 brand new techs out who had no clue at all what they were doing and in turn damaged my a/c unit. I have home videos to prove this to anyone else who needs to see that this repair man walked back and forth cursing for 9 hours stating over and over agin he did not know how to fix this and was on the phone with a senior tech asking for help the whole time. I had no air in my home and had to move my dogs and children off the property for 9 hours. These novice techs were Brian and Nick and I called and spoke with the owner while they were here and told him I had no confidence about what was happening and he told me to give it time If I wanted air for my children that day. After Brian touched the unit wiring and re wiring and made it smoke and had a explosive pop my “board is now bad as well” finally at 10 pm they sent the lead tech another Nick (different last name) is 5 minutes he re wired the unit, showed me the hanging wires and when I asked if he thinks there was even a problem to begin with, with my motor he said “I don’t know I wasn’t here for the diagnostic” “but this unit would never run properly the way it was left” I spoke with Arlin the owner because I am A single parent of 2 with severe health issues after COVID and in 5 years have never had a problem with this company (just doing the maintenance they stated I needed) and as previously stated even referred 2 new clients who purchased and installed their units with this company) I explained I really feel like they caused these 2 issues and his response was we took pictures so that’s enough and he was rude and demeaning. I am not a technician, I cannot say otherwise but I do know that 2 men frantically fiddled with my air conditioning unit for 9 hours resulting in an explosion and smoking (obviously when the unit was damaged) and then the “expert tech” fixed the wiring in 3 minutes. But told me that my board was now fried and needed to be replaced. I tried to appeal to Arlin’s humane side and told him I have the videos but he said everyone has to learn( talking about his techs” and that I have no proof and he has pictures. I told him this is an opportunity for him to “do the right thing by someone “ and fix the damage they caused after he has charged me 600.00 for something his own men damaged (I was desperate for my kids to have a place to sleep that night) Arlin stated he would refund me the money if he came and re installed my motor ( which he can make sure doesn’t function as he’s had it in his possession for 2 days) I know these are hard times for everyone not just me but if a company’s owner rather make 600 other than be honest and do the right thing after I’ve been a client for 5 years and he’s made 20k in my referrals than this is not a company you want to deal with) Today this is me, tomorrow dealing with this man and his inexperienced techs “who need to learn and practice “ according to the owner could be you. He will respond to this saying he has pictures? That proves the tech damaged my unit then took a picture my videos actually show the techs here for 9 hours without a clue of what they were doing. Again most of his “positive” reviews are from clients like myself that dealt with the previous owner and previous technicians. There is nothing I can do at this point as the only option this man gave me was to re install a bad motor that he can insure is bad” but you do have a choice to look elsewhere that’s why I took all this time to try to help someone else who doesn’t have money to be stolen from them.

I live in the Westchase area and researched this A/C project extensively which included obtaining quotes from seven different vendors. I eventually landed on Pleasant Air and I am very pleased with my choice. At the time Trane was running a rebate program so not only did I get a high quality product I was fortunate to get a very competitive price. The crew at Pleasant Air were timely and thorough, which included an alteration to my A/C closet during my May 2018 install. Due to the alteration the main installer stayed until the job was complete (apprx 10pm that evening), He was very dedicated and pleasant despite the long day. Pleasant Air also had the expertise to reinstall a complex dual zone board with the system. I will definitely use their services again in the future

Well, used $19 deal to have the switch turned back on. I was very upset when presented with $179 deal. I told him I was not happy with the bill although the person was the nicest professional person. He then spoke to the owner and the owner called to make it right. I would use them now.

It went great! The installer texted me to let me know he was on his way, he was very courteous, he even explained to me what he was doing as he installed each piece of equipment. The whole process took just over an hour and he even vacuumed the area where he was working.

It went great! They were extremely busy and were at my House well into the night but they did not leave until it was done and my house was cleaned up. I totally appreciated that they took all of their debris with them and the guys were great! Very nice and personable. I would highly recommend them again. I say this with a lot of experience because I am a state licensed General Contractor myself and I deal with vendors everyday. Well done Pleasant!!!

I been using them over 7 years. I remodel and rent houses. Many times I have needed an install on Sunday and it was no problem for them when many companies don't even pick up there phone . Arlen is awesome and all the installers did a good job. My last install was on time, very fast and I was very happy. The price was very good for the unit I thought I should share this with other people so they can have my good experience as well

Georgio was super helpful and friendly we had a ac that went out in summers heat and they had us up and running in less then 3 days I cannot be more happy. It’s colder in the house and the system runs less. I only put a B for quality because it’s not a brand new system but why pay four times the amount when they are much more friendly and helpful.

AC was repaired in less than an hour. Technician was very knowledgeable and professional. He was punctual and polite.

Expert installation. Most importantly did not try to sell me something I did not need. And, for $2000.00 less than nearest competitor.

My service manager Giorgio had the tech out to my house in a timely manner tech was Courteous, and unit was installed quickly and tech tested everything to make sure unit was working correctly. Would recommend to my friends and family

Upon completion the salesman met with me to instruct on how to use system with remote control. The units were left on after install and house was cooling nicely in every room. I was impressed by the efficiency of the system, quality of the units, and the professional way the entire job went.

It went pretty good but my husband is very disappointed because he noticed that the tech didn’t both putting the caps back on the Freon air lines. So my husband put them back on.

Overall very good. The installed unit was squeaking from the compressor, but they came back and replaced the compressor at no additional charge. Working Perfect now! I received text alerts when they were in route to my house and when finished. I really liked that

This is one of the best experiences I have ever had. So as we all know Florida gets hot and last week, all of a sudden my A/C just completely shut down. My father and brother both had new A/C units put in by Pleasant A/C and they had nothing but great things to say about them all the way around so I contacted them immediately and right from the beginning my experience was great. Brian answered the phone and was very nice and courteous. He said he would send a technician out immediately to have it looked at. Within the hour their technician Richard showed up and he was extremely thorough and polite. He answered all my questions and did not mind explaining to me exactly what the problem was which in the end I needed a new system. He contacted his office for me and set up my installation the very next morning! The next day their installer Lenny came right on time and was very professional, courteous and extremely helpful. By the time he was done my house was exactly as clean as it was before he showed up. That was not something I expected as with my past experience with any kind of house repair or service some kind of mess is left behind but not with this company. Before he was even gone the temperature in my house had dropped 3 degrees and before the sun had set my house was nice and cool. GREAT COMPANY, GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT PRICES. They have just made me a lifetime customer and Ihighly recommend this company to everybody.

I was told by several different AC companies I needed to replace my whole unit. I haven’t had air for mostly a month now. A**d Services quoted me over $6000 to replace it with a mediocre grade brand name, and said the cost of repairing my unit by replacing the coil (which is what the guy said was wrong) wasn’t worth it. Someone else from another company quoted me over 4500 to replace it, someone else gave me a fair price of 3500 to replace it. To put this in perspective? I have a 950 sq ft house. It needs at most a 2.5 ton unit. I just started a brand new job and my credit is shot. My house got as hot as 99 degrees one day (it’s end of June). I called Performance because I had found their prices posted on refurbished units, and I was desperate to find someone who would maybe finance me in house. When I told the owner everything I was going through with the other companies, and that I had not had air for a month, and I am a single mom, he sent his best guy out to look at it and HE FIXED IT. At a reasonable price! Less than 350! It’s blowing out cold air now! Not only that, he checked it over really really good, replaced two faulty items THAT NO OTHER COMPANY had looked at, said the evaporator coil was fine, and that was it! It works! When I get back on my feet and ready to replace it, cuz yeah its reallllly old, I am not going to anyone else! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
