This has been a horrible experience We spent over ten thousand dollars for a shed It took them forever to build it Then they finally finished at last october It's leaked everywhere since day one They've been out several times to try and fix it I spoke to chris himself on june tenth He said he was going to send somebody out again I've left a message once a month until now Next week i'm going to file court papers Chris mongello

Horrible paid close to 7000 dollars for our enclosed patio started to leak already have called them 4 times and no results will be reporting them to better business bureau

HORRIBLE. Besides lack of communication for the 6 months I waited for them to start the job.....they had one (older) person installing a screen enclosure. I had to go out and help him hold up a wall, so he could attach it. workmanship was like a novice did it. scratches, scraps, crooked brackets, and chair rails. Put old clamps back on the gutter, that are too small (just noticed this). Gutters are useless...they are not wide enough and are below the roof, therefore water comes straight off the roof unto my deck...Ive been asking for then to fix since July. I've had several other opinions tell me the defective installation. Yes - they say there were installed properly. If something is installed properly, that would mean that they are serving their purpose - to CATCH the WATER off the roof. I am still waiting for them to fix the issue. I was told they will let me know when they can come out.....a service ticket was supposed to be put in in NOVEMBER. still waiting. I can provide much documentation and rude responses from their office. the owner came out and didn't even bother to come talk to me after he looked at at, (then lied) and said another contractor that happened to be here at the same time - agreed with him that there was no problem. Well the "other" contractor talked to me afterwards and SAID the two of them agreed what needed to be done to FIX IT. That was NOV or DEC, I lose track. Nothing's been done.

If you want to go to a place that the employees are not taken care of or the owner thinks it is ok for the employees to treat customer terrible then this is your place. When I came in I got yelled at by a guy sitting behind a desk with not one but 2 pairs of glasses. (Chris) I told Chris what I needed he said yes they can get it then yelled at a guy behind the counter his name was John. Chris asked John when they could get the product and how much John gave a lower price then Chris. So I thought Chris was done so I went to see John to pay and I did pay. After paying I asked when I could pick it up on Friday. John said go ask the guy you been talking to do you think I have mental telepathy? So as I go over to Chris when the products will be in John comes over and says I know Chris we got mental telepathy in the neurons between our minds connect together and we know automatically how our minds read each other and you know that what I know and I know you know but this guy wants to know when he can pick up his product on Friday I have no idea. John was just being a smart aleck cuz he didn't know and he could have went over and said hey Chris when can they pick this up but he wanted to make me feel stupid. I looked at John and said you don't have to be a smart alec I don't know when your product comes in I don't know what time I can send my people to come pick it up cuz I need it right away. John started saying some other smart alec stuff I said you know what just refund me my money so within 5 minutes after paying $180 I had him refund my money because he was so rude to me and treated me so rudely these people do not care about customer service at all. I would not want my worst enemy to go see this company. As for John and Chris they both should be finding new jobs if I own that company I would not have them working for me or working in the public. So beware when you go in there you're going to be treated like garbage and you're going to have a smart alec saying smart alec comments to you.

These guys were professional, and continued to ask if I was happy. They went above and beyond!!

The contract was signed on the 24th of May, stating that the work would be completed in 4 to 5 weeks, and it took them until June 2nd to even deliver the promised product. The doors were installed on the second of June. The owner, Gary, came on the 5th to fix the sliding door. I personally spoke with him and told him about the screen coming apart and the frame not being aligned properly on both doors, including missing screws. He came out, which I thought he was going to fix it, and he said he didn't have tools so he left, promising that someone would come out the next day. No one showed up. This was over a week ago, and no one has called. There was damage to my property as well: They took off my storm-proof sliding glass door, losing the screws after they removed it. It has not been corrected, meaning my home is not secure. I feel that we gave them a fair amount of time to resolve this problem, and if Angie's List is not able to resolve the problem, we will have to take it to our lawyers.

It seems like they did things too fast and were not very careful. I have had a roof leak twice. The first time they came out right away to fix the leak; however, the second time it took them four days.

Their engineer had to make sure the schematics would work for this large area, as the pitch of the roof had to be very specific. This took a few visits with measuring and discussion, and we were certain they understood our desires and we understood how they were going to make that happen. They were a little behind schedule due to weather and the manufacture of the specific materials this area required. When the construction started they made sure we were involved for each step; they were on time; courteous; and cleaned up debris daily. The project was completed within the time-frame given after they began construction. We love the French Doors they made and installed for us! The porch area is now the gem of the house, and our favorite place. They encouraged us to call them if there needed to be any adjustments, and when we developed a transient drip they came out by the next day and reinforced the flashing at one area of the roof. We are very satisfied with their work and service.

Everytime it rains the roof leaks, it started immediately after nstallation. They came out several times and tried to patch/recoat all seams - still same problem. Finally they quit coming - said they couldn't fix it and problem was probably from house roof????? (Which was brand new and have not had any problems with it. 4/17/2014 Followup to vendors response. You did in fact install the roof(incorrectly - no pitch), water just laid on the roof. You sent two different guy's out and they redid the front beam(lowered it). It was at that time talking to them that we decided to enclose the porch and you did do the the front enclosure as you stated. Yes, I filled out your card with a good rating at that time, we loved the looks of it an it essentially gave us another small living are(enclosed front porch). All that was fine untill the first good hard rain and the leaks appearred and started getting worse. Yes, you did send your men ou 7 times(someone different almost every time, sometimes the did something sometimes not). The fact remained the leaks have never stopped and you quite returning my phone calls and never sent anyone back out to actually fix it. I'm sorry for this review, however, you can understand my frustration - paid for roof and enclosure and loved it except the contant leaks. I would love nothing better than to have no leaks and give you a better review. Yes, understand the warranty period is over, however, it was never fixed during the warranty period - Sorry!!! I still have copies of my invoices, notes of date of calls, responses, etc and would be more than happy to discuss with you if you'd like.

Mary Beth is a delight to work with. She came the day after I called and provided an estimate. I had called about a repair and she advised me that for their minimum charge, they could rescreen the entire porch. When I looked closely I saw that most of the screens were torn. I got a written estimate and they performed the work within a week. I am very pleased with the work. This is the second time I've used Jand M, I had them replace and install gutters. Both times the work was excellent, the workers prompt and professional. I will use them in the future whenever I have need of their services.

It was fine. It was nothing spectacular but what they do is fine. There is nothing really wrong with them but they're not over the top. They were superlative to come out and give a quote. Then actually getting the work done we had to go back and forth rescheduling.

They were good and we didn't have any problem with them.

They did exactly what they said they would, came in a timely manner and worked hard. Best part, they left the area very clean when done. I was very happy with them.

It didn't go well at all. They said they would install the patio canopy within 30 days after we signed the contract and it was over 60 days. We had a lot of leaks with it once it was installed. It probably took them 4 or 5 visits to get the leaks stopped.

The service was great. They did a high quality of work.

The service was excellent overall. They were prompt, showed up on time, and did what they said they would do. After the job was done, they were very responsive with repairing a small issue we had with one of the railings.

I'm very happy with the work they did! A long time ago, I paid $800 for an awning from Home Depot, and their aluminum shutter cost me about half of that. Their pricing and installation was great. They were professional and on time. I saw a small scratch on the awning, and they were very responsive with repairing it. I will be working with them again in the future!

My Wife dropped off the screen at Jand M Aluminum to be repaired on a Saturday. The person who she spoke to was very nice and helpful. They said the screen would be ready in a day or two and that they would call us when ready. They called us on that following Tuesday to tell us our screen was ready for pick up. Because allot of the screens in our home are quite old I will definitely be taking them to Jand M for repair.

Went to showroom to see what they had. Our front awning were 40 years old and in very good shape so I was afraid the style would be way different, exact same style and design. The correct size was not in stock so it was about a two week wait between making and installing. Their second trip was for gutters and down spouts, front and back. From the time they arrived to the time they left was maybe three hours. They did a very good job with both the awnings and gutters. We have only one problem and it WAS NOT caused by the installers. Down spout is roughly three inches under the grass because of they type of grass we had put in. Would/will hire again.

We were promised the work within half a week and it ended up taking them a week and a half. Since it was a time-sensitive project, this really put us behind and messed everything up. So as far as timing, we were not happy, but as far as the quality of work, it was truly outstanding. I was very happy with the price. They answered right away and were very responsive.

They were excellent, they gave me a good deal, and they were clean. I got the best advice from them. They were up front with everything, were trustworthy, gave me a 6 month payment plan with no interest, the price was good, made sure I was happy before they left, and everything went fine. My neighbor told me to contact them because they are more reliable than the other company I was going to get.

Jand M worked patiently with the City zoning department, but, in the end the City wouldn't budge so we decided to go with railings and a banister as well as rain gutters. Jand M is prompt to return calls, work hard to accomplish tasks, show up on time, do very professional work. We're pleased and intend to have them back for some more tasks soon.
