We are happy with the work performed by Classic Kitchens and Bathrooms on a complete remodel of our main bathroom. After we approved their estimate, they started work the following week. The principle workman, Romoaldo, worked long hours tearing out the old vanity, tub, toilet and existing walls and tiles. He installed new walls, electrical outlets, and tiled the floor and walls in the bath area, as well as installing the new tub (and shower faucet) and toilet. His work was excellent, and he finished his portion of the job in 6 days. We were quite impressed with his efficiency and quality of workmanship. In later weeks, other crews installed the vanity cabinet, shower doors, granite top, and mirror. Romoaldo returned when the granite top was installed to connect the sink, move outlets, install the vanity lights, and make some minor adjustments. After everything was installed, we had to wait a couple of weeks for workmen to schedule time for some minor work on the mirror and granite top. All through the process, the main contractor, Sonia, was helpful and cooperative. She answered our questions and responded quickly to our requests. Most of the job required custom fitted furnishings , but everything fit nicely. The job went a bit longer than we expected, but we are pleased with the results.

We chose Sonia at Classic Kitchens after obtaining several quotes. We liked not only her reputation from past reviews but had a feeling that she would be easy to work with as she had an "aim to please" disposition. We had the same experience with Yanko and his crew. They were the hardest working and most courteous crew we have ever had the experience of hiring! They did a great cleanup at the end of every day. Yanko is very talented with a good eye for decor and functionality too. They handled our changes and unexpected work with a cheerful and pleasing response. We love our kitchen and are so thankful that we chose Sonia Schoeman/Classic Kitchens!

Classic Kitchen and Bath ( Sonia Schoeman) were the only company of four who provided a reasonable quote and not requiring the entire bathroom to be remodeled. Sonia came and reviewed the Master bath, made recommendations. Sonia and Classic Kitchen and Bath were the only company to let us purchase all the materials needed for the project. Most items were from Home Depot that we purchased. Usually when contractor purchases they add 25%, not Sonia. Very fair and responsive. Classic Kitchen and Bath installation crew showed up every morning at 7:45 ready to work at 8. They didn't take time for lunch just did the job each day. The crew removed all the old tile, tub, fixtures and cleaned everything up before they left. When it came time to install the new whirlpool tub and retile the tub area and shower they did an excellent job. Every detail was addressed. If the crew had any concerns or questions, they would discuss with us before moving on. GREAT JOB, WIFE LOVES IT. I'm a happy guy.

The bathroom redesign was begun December 15, when the existing bath was completely removed. Because the company did not check on supplies, including tile availability, nothing was done in the bathroom until January fourth, 2014. Tile was installed satisfactorily, although one wall had to be redone because it was installed improperly the first time. Cabinets were installed but did not match the stain in other parts of bath, so cabinets had to be removed and restained. When they were reinstalled, some of the drawers did not align and one never was properly aligned, and rests 1/4 inch lower than other cabinet drawers. The cabinets themselves are cheaply constructed and aesthetically unpleasing. Granite installed was not properly cut; the sink holes cut in the granite were supposed to be rectangular but are bowed noticeably in several places. By this point, we were so tired of dealing with this company we did not want them in our house anymore. We accepted a credit instead of having the granite fixed. The tub's caulking, just one month since completion, is coming away from the tub and tile and will have to be redone. In essence, the rule of this company seems to be that there is not enough time to do it right the first time, but there is always enough time to do things over again and again. I cannot recommend this company.

This was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I contacted several Angie's List contractors and received several estimates. While all were similar in cost for service, I found Sonia to be the most responsive. She was able to make design suggestions and gave us great advice on where to look for tile and accessories. After I received her estimate I had a number of questions. Sonia was very quick to respond and answered all my questions. The project was started within a few weeks of signing the contract. Our craftsman, Rinaldo, completed the demolition within one day! He was an extremely skilled and hard worker, even coming to work on the weekend. Rinaldo consulted us every step of the way to make sure that he was doing the job just the way we wanted it done. The work moved along quickly and the job was completed in 10 days!

They were absolutely the best contractors ever! I have remodeled many places and never had a great experience until I used Sonia and Yanko they are unbelievable!!!

My house was built in the 1950's and the bathroom was in need of a makeover. We started with a shopping trip to pick out tile for the floor and tub enclosure. We also picked out a new tub, toilet, vanity, window, and small fixtures- shelves, towel bars, etc. The work took just over a week. He tiled the walls inside the tub enclosure and wrapped it around the walls with a mosaic border. He put in the new window and tiled around it. The floor tile is set on a diagonal. It looks beautiful. He replaced the tub, toilet, vanity, light fixture, medicine cabinet, and hung shelves and towel bars. The finished bathroom is beautiful. I was even posting pictures of it on my facebook page to show it to family and friends. My next home project will be to have my kitchen floor re-tiled, and counter top replaced. I will be calling this company again to do the job.

This took about 5 weeks. They were very responsive to come out and give me an estimate. Sonia worked with us and listened to what we asked for; and got back to us quickly. Her contractor was Mike and the person who did the work was Yanko; along with his crew who came out occasionally. He was really good, because we interacted with him the most. A lot of the work was done while we were away and we were very pleased with the work that was finished. In the full kitchen remodel, they gutted and replaced all the cabinets. We didn't change the design of the kitchen, but the workmanship was well done. We love the countertops too! If there was anything that was not what we wanted or any issues it was very quickly remedied. They kept the house clean after they left and they made this a very painless process. Also, in the bathroom they did counter tops and the cabinets.

The price was reasonable and they strive to keep costs down but keep the quality at the highest level. The whole team was attentive, responsive, creative, and professional. They stay right on schedule and they work longer if they need to in order to stay on schedule. If there's a question, they answer immediately. The owner, Sonia, was on site often to meet with me. They are excellent in every way. They are just tops.

I read the reviews and called them for a quote. Sonia came out the following day and provided us with a very comprehensive quote to basically "gut" and rebuild. Initially we were taken back by the pricing, and I'm sure it is just because we had NO idea what to expect. We agreed to the quote and within the next week her tile guys arrived very promptly. They gutted the master bathroom the first couple days and then pulled up the old carpeting in the master bedroom. They expanded the shower area and installed dual shower heads, and did a beautiful job with the slate installation. They custom designed a glass shower enclosure the shower is beautiful. They also moved the existing Jacuzzi tube into a new angle which made the bathroom seem so much larger. The provided some new electrical outlets, installed a new vanity and painted. Would recommend them without hesitation.

I hired Classic Kitchen and Bath in 2012 to remodel both of my bathrooms after searching on Angie's list for someone with great reviews. The work was excellent which is why I hired them again for a complete kitchen remodel. They did not disappoint! My kitchen looks amazing!! Sonia, the owner, is by far the best with a crew that goes above and beyond. I wanted an open look so the wall dividing the living room and kitchen was removed. Plumbing had to be extended in order to put the sink in my new island. New cabinets were installed. Beautiful granite countertops transformed the entire area with the same granite as the backsplash. Breathtaking is the only word I can describe my kitchen now, equipped with brand spankin new stainless steel appliances. Once again, Sonia walked me through everything, including meeting me at a few granite places. She is just wonderful! Romualdo, her "one man army", did another fantastic job! He is so clean as he works, you never know he's been there. Jose, the electrician, did a great job with installing a light switch in my garage so I can turn the kitchen light on before entering the house...nice! Jim, the cabinet guy, did a wonderful job and is he ever meticulous!! I've never seen anyone stay so late to finish as much of the job as he could. All in all, you couldn't ask for a more personable and hardworking crew. AND I especially like my new push button garbage disposal right on top of the granite...ahhh ,it's the little things in life....lol. Thank you all for making my home stunning. I cant think of any other rooms to remodel but I will certainly be giving your name to anyone that asks. As promised, it took one month and two days to have a functional kitchen again. Keep up the remarkable work!

Started as planned. Demo went good but granite was not ordered as expected so a couple of days delay. When granite guy came, he had wrong sink. It was larger than what we originally had so we accepted it rather than more delays. Above cabinet molding was short ordered. When it was reordered , the wrong size was ordered and so another delay. Finally right molding came. Needless delays but workers who came to house were great. Be sure you confirm what you selected is ordered and ready for installation before demo starts.

The renovation went extremely well from start to completion. Quality, value and timeliness of completion were of major importance to us and all were exceptional. Crew chief and crew were outstanding. Vendors recommended for ceramic flooring, backsplash tile, and granite countertops were great. All work was done by the company with the exception of one subcontractor used for electrical work who did an excellent job. When issues were identified they were addressed promptly and well. The company was a pleasure to work with.

I called and scheduled the service and he called back to reschedule. We've been going back and forth and he was supposed come by today and did not, so I have decided to have the work done by someone more reliable.

They did a great job. They were professional, punctual, and they cleaned up after themselves. They made an experience that we dreaded going through, to be rather pleasant. They are the best company so far that we have worked with.

We expected a lot of inconvenience, so for those people who want to get a total remodel, it IS inconvenient. However, the final product is so worth it! Mike told us it would take 3-4 weeks for completion, and it took 4 weeks and two days. I have heard terrible experiences with other contractors, who were still working on kitchens for months. But Classic Kitchens delivered on its promise. Sonia is the owner and I must say that she has people working for her that are AMAZING. We must mention Jim Poole, our cabinet and backsplash professional. He is a master at what he does. He is a perfectionist, to say the least. Never, no matter how frustrating some of the problems that arose, did he lose his temper. He was cool and collected and faced every challenge, that comes with such a big project, with style and a wonderful attitude. A company is only as good as the people who work for it. We can't say enough about his professionalism. There were times he stayed past 7:00 PM to complete a task. The only problem we faced were times when he could not show up on time, due to other jobs he had to attend to because of the phases that have to be completed in a timely fashion. I got frustrated and called Mike. After that, he made sure that Jim could be available for the completion of the project in a timely fashion. The granite company that Classic Kitchen uses for the counter phase is equally wonderful. We were impressed with this company and we have given their name out to several people. We will definitely use them again, for any other remodeling we may do in the future. They will be the ONLY one we use. It was a great experience. Thank you, Angie's list, for your services. If we were not members, we would never have known about this wonderful and professional company.

It didn't cause we never received an estimate

They are not quite done but everything they have done so far has been first class. They finished the partial remodel today and will finish the other bathroom on Thursday. I would absolutely use them again.

I can't tell you how great the experience was! Sonia was wonderful and patient with me as I didn't know the first thing about remodeling. The work was started on November 8th, 2012 a few weeks after I had knee replacement. Her professional one man crew Romualdo was simply phenomenal! He always arrived as scheduled and never stopped until he was finished for the day. The work started in the master bathroom and took about a week. The second bathroom took slightly longer then a week. Sonia was very good about bringing me different tiles to look at since I was undecided at the time. I had already decided on color schemes so she knew what I was looking for. I basically went out and purchased everything else and learned how to drive the riding carts to boot! I had NO idea how much needed to be purchased! My carpet was replaced with wood plank tile and I highly recommend it to anyone that likes a hardwood floor look. I have two dogs and needed something that would hold up to their running around and sharp nails. I also had a sliding glass door removed that went into my Florida room to open everything up. All in all, it was a fantastic experience! Sonia is a gem to work with and Romualdo is remarkable. The work was completed on schedule AND within the original budget. I HIGHLY recommend this company! I'm looking forward to having them back to remodel my kitchen just as soon as I save some more pennies. Thank you Sonia and Romualdo...your the best!! See you soon!

Remodeling a kitchen is exactly the kind of job that Angie's List is designed for and it is because of this list that I found Classic Kitchens and Bathroom Inc. With all the kitchen companies in the Tampa Bay Area, I never would have found Classic Kitchens on my own. But Classic Kitchens was EXACTLY the company I needed. I am a single homeowner of a house built in 1955. I knew I wanted to remodel the kitchen when I bought the house several years ago, but I had no remodeling experience with houses I owned in prior years. I got 3 bids; two companies from Angie's List and one referred by a neighbor. Although being able to meet my budget was essential, more important to me was the compatibility of the persons that would be working with me and for me on my kitchen. Afterall, they will be present in my life for a number of weeks. Remodeling a kitchen is a time-intensive and detail oriented project. That's where Sonia Schoeman, Classic Kitchen's owner, fit my expectations perfectly. I preferred a smaller company that would provide me guided assistance and yes, hand-holding, if needed. I did not want a company that had so many kitchen remodels going on, that I wouldn't get the attention that I wanted and needed. Sonia provided outstanding customer service in this way. Always available to me by phone, email, text, and in person; giving me options and choices, and design-type advice. Another person that was part of Sonia's team was Jim, who did the majority of the labor in the kitchen. He was so personable and accommodating...it felt like having a family member in my home every day. And, he certainly was an excellent craftsman. I feel I received far more quality of materials and a far richer look in my kitchen that I thought my budget would buy. It is absolutely beautiful and I love just standing in the kitchen and thinking how lucky I am to have such a gorgeous and functional room adding tremendous value to my house. I would highly recommend this company. It provided everything I could have wanted and much more. I am extremely satisfied.

Since we were out of town all work was done by phone and checked by friends in the building. also they did other work for us such as changing the lighting in the kitchen and handyman work such as changing out the handle on the front door. They were very helpful in helping us pick out bathroom plumbing and purchasing them for us. Also coordinated other professionals for lighting and shower door. We were extremely happy
