The guys did a great job from start to finish and came in under estimated costs! I am keeping them in my contact list for any future electrical issues and projects.

When I first contacted Jerry at A G E Electric, he was very courteous and prompt at coming out to look at the job I wanted to have done. He showed up exactly when he said he would. I hired Jerry to do the job. It was a rather difficult job as I live in a condo. I wanted some ceiling lights (pendants) hung but the difficulty came in trying to get electric to the locations. Jerry and his son, Michael, accomplished what I started to believe was impossible. They are both professionals and did a truly superb job. I couldn't be happier. I have several other electrical projects in the works and will definitely have Jerry and Michael do the work for me.

AGE arrived promptly for the estimate and "worked well" with another trade that was installing at the time. Mike took his time to understand the electric layout of this condo and then to explain to me what changes could and could not be done. He presented options and I felt comfortable with him immediately and proceeded to schedule the job. AGE was very busy and it appeared this would conflict with my travel plans...but by being a little flexible my work was completed. It turned out GREAT - I am sooooo happy as I was afraid a bad footprint would be left on the ceiling from the previous install. You can't even tell the chandelier was moved!!. The work areas were cleaned up perfectly. AGE Electric will always be our electrician!

Was very professional. Cleaned up thoroughly after completing work. Took longer than original estimate but I was very specific concerning placement of switches. Extremely happy with service provided and would definitely use them again.

I did not receive an electrical service from Jerry, but had a phone conversation with him that convinced me that he will be the one I call when I do need electrical service. After describing my problem, he advised me to call Progress Energy, told me what to say to them, and then told me it would be free to have the problem fixed through Progress Energy. He also said to call him back if that turned out to not be the case, and he would come out then. I really appreciate that he did not come out, charge me for a service call, and then tell me it was a Progress Energy problem. He did his best to help me over the phone, and,as it turned out, he was right!

I called to try to get an appointment as soon as possible and Jerry the owner said he would try to send someone around 2 pm if not he would send someone the next day in the am,but within one hour Michael called and said he can come right over.I had a great experience with this company very pleased with the service. Michael was extremely professional,friendly and knowledgeable. I was impressrd that he took the time out of his busy schedule to explain the details to me. I highly recommend this company.

Went great! Mike Falgoust (son of the owner G. Jerry) was very prompt getting here both days. Setting up the new light and wiring took longer than expected so we suggested he come back the next week to finish. We were very pleased with his work and professionalism. I would definately use AGE again and would refer them to others.

The technician (Mike) showed up on time, and did the job in 2 hrs, left the area clean and the cost was very close to the original estimate provided. Mike is very professional and explains you what he is doing and asks before incurring in any additional cost. I will definitely hire AGE in the future for all my electrical needs.

They were very good. They came quickly and did the work quickly. The electrician was very polite. He found where the problem was and told me about it. He told me how much it would cost and gave me an option and asked me if I wanted that to be fixed. He fixed the problem very quickly.

Gerry was very detailed and organized. He got the job done and everything is working perfect. We replaced breaker panel, put in new fans in the bathroom, and fixed some loose wires in the attic. He sent pictures of his work. Well done!

One was not working at all and the other one was defective and working only at times. He was very responsive. It wasn't hard to get an appointment. He had to do a little research to find out the source of the wiring and so on to fix it. He was here for about a couple of hours. To find out the source of the problem he had to test other outlets throughout the house. He did a good job. He seemed to have expertise and seemed to be very honest and very professional. He knew what he was doing and didn't waste any time. He told me about his fees before he did anything.

Gerry, the owner and his son, Mike, worked together on the job. They arrived when scheduled, did the work safely and efficiently, moved and re-placed some very heavy furniture, cleaned up thoroughly. We live in a rather large house so it was a multi-day job. It is without hesitation that I recommend AGE to do your next electrical project. Gerry and Mike are both professional and aim to please at a reasonable up front with an understandable detailed price estimate.

They never showed up and never called the second time

This is the second job that AGE Electric was hired for. Again, it was a great pleasure to work with them. On their first job with us, they had discovered we still had knob and tube wiring in the house (something our home inspector and FHA inspector missed). I didn't even bother getting other quotes because of my initial experience with Jerry and Mike. They came in and removed and replaced the knob and tube wiring in the front of the house. Jerry consulted us about the possibility of adding recessing lighting in the front room, because he would already be cutting into the ceiling to remove the knob and tube wiring. My wife absolutely loved the idea. They were so precise in the measurements and everything lines up perfectly. The room looks beautiful now and I probably played with the new dimmer switches for 30 minutes after they left. In the middle of the job, I asked them if it would be possible to install ceiling fans on the front porch. They looked at how it could be done and explained to me everything that went into the job. The fans look great on the porch and we will certainly enjoy them when it gets warmer out. I wish I could find a business card for every professional that performed services in a similar fashion to Jerry and Mike at AGE Electric; it would make new home ownership a breeze. Thank you again!

After a false start with another electrician, this one was very responsive, kept his appointment time punctually and even followed up with a call back to make sure everything was working properly. Excellent experience.

This electrical panel upgrade work was required after my current homeowners insurance carrier dropped my coverage and I had to scramble to get new documentation of my 1950's-era house for Citizen's insurance coverage. I was working on a fairly tight timeline to get this work done within a few weeks to avoid a lapse in coverage. After I requested an estimate, the owner contacted me promptly to set up a date and time that worked well for both of us. He arrived at the prescheduled time and did a thorough inspection of the work required, explaining what was needed according to code as he reviewed the situation. He patiently answered all my questions. After I reviewed and approved his estimate, the work began on schedule and was completed in time to make the urgent deadlines required to renew my homeowners insurance without any lapse. The owner performed the panel upgrade himself, with one other electrician assisting. While the upgrade process turned out to be a little more complicated than expected, he honored his original estimate. His assistance performed the installation of the 2 security lights on a second visit. All the work was done professionally.

He did a phenomenal job. G Jerry Falgoust is phenomenal. He was great. He is diligent, professional and consultative. He did the repair on the pump timer in 3 minutes. The price didn't matter because he did a great job. He spoke to my wife as a human being and not just as a pretty lady.

From the first call, everything was professional and courteous. When the work was completed it was less than the estimate.

I called and left Jerry a message because I needed various electrical items addressed within my newly purchased, older home. He returned my call promptly and we discussed the list of items. He explained to me over the phone what the possible causes were and we set up an appointment to have him come look at everything. We conducted a walk-thru and he acted in a very friendly and professional manner. His "plain language" explanations of the issues, his patience with my questions, and prior "excellent" Angie's List reviews were the main reasons I chose to do business with him. I had two other electricians come out and I felt he truly understood what it was I wanted to accomplish and the price was competitive. His quote was very close to what it actually ended up costing. Jerry and Mike called when they were about 20-30 minutes away and arrived on-time. They found some "suprises" with previous electrical work and consulted with me on possible solutions. They periodically provided me with updates, which I appreciated and worked with me as some of my ideas changed a bit. After the work was completed, everything was inspected to ensure proper working order and each day they were here they cleaned up everything nicely. I would highly recommend doing business with AGE.

Jerry and Mike are very professional and made the upgrades, showing great knowledge and skill. The final product was exceptional. They were prompt, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. They have performed work for us in the past and as far as we are concerned, they are the ones will undoubtedly call for all future electrical work.

The overall experience went very well. One afternoon my son turned on a lamp and the power in that corner of the room went out. Not being able to fix the problem by turning circuit breaker switches off and on, we called AGE Electric. Jerry (or the guy he sent) was very nice on the phone and was able to come out two days later to fix the problem. He checked the two sockets affected and made 100 trips up and down our stairs (where the circuit box was) and diagnosed the problem as one of the sockets being dead. He replaced the damaged socket, labeled the circuit breaker switch for the living room (why are none of our circuit breakers labeled??), and was in and out in under an hour. He had to help move some furniture out of the way and was very nice about all that. The price quoted on the phone for the minimum service call ended up being the final price (plus $1 for the new socket). I would use AGE Electric again.
