Where to begin. I started to replace my pool liner in May-June 2012I originally called this pool company because they were the original builders of the pool in 1995. I thought they were have all the measurements from the last liner change-out in 2005 (they did not because a different company performed this change) but they did have some of the information from the original build. I talked to both Mr Vaughn the owner, and Mr Vaughn , the owners son. The younger Vaughn gave me a price to replace the pool liner in the amount of approximately $4600. I didn't hear from either of the gentleman for 4 weeks, when the elder Vaughn called me to ask if someone could come over to measure the pool and find the "well points". One of his workers showed up, not on time, to do the measuring. At that time he looked at my liner and the places that had come away from the walls. He reattached the liner so that water would not get in between the liner and the walls of the pool. At that time he showed me my deep end liner area that had come undone. ****There was no water between the liner and the wall, there was no damage to the walls of the pool, nor the bottom of the pool.****** Several weeks went by, and again, did not hear from anyone in the company. When I called, Mr Vaughn would say he did not have my paperwork in front of him and he would call me back later. He never did. One day, I have two workers in my backyard, August 2012. They took down my old liner, took it away, and left. No one came to ask if they could work on the pool, and no one informed me as to what was their plan. I didn't see anyone again for SIX WEEKS. During that time my pool was uncovered and subjected to the elements and it has fallen apart and the walls are collasped. . Once again, I find two workers, without my permission, working on my pool. This time they are trying to drain all the water that had collected in the pool. They plugged in a pump to my house and left it there and NEVER explained what was going on. I tried to call the owner of the company again. No reply. I finally get an phone call telling me that my pool is a mess and it will cost me $9625 to fix the liner and the rest of the damage. I didn't call them back and I never will! I didn't have these problems. The pool company created them. I am a single mom to a special needs child and a disabled veteran, living off of a pension. I do not have this money to fix the problem they created. Thank yoju
