Our best moving experience ever -covering 5 moves over 30 years. A number of reasons for this. First, its a family-owned and operated company based here in the community. I dealt with one of the family members - Dylan Sawyer - as well as two others in the office over the two moves and had a consistently great experience. They were responsive and flexible and the hourly price we agreed to was extremely reasonable. The crews worked extremely hard and as quickly and efficiently as possible so I got more than fair value for the fees paid. I had the same crew chief for both jobs - Joe - and he was smart, efficient and careful. Given that our goods moved twice and had to be placed/stacked in storage we had a remarkable experience. One small glass candlestick broken and two plastic plates bent out of the thousands of pounds of goods. We still cannot believe that this is the case. On our move out from the first house, there was some damage done to the molding around the front door. We got a vendor to fix it and the company reimbursed me within 24 hours. Again, another sign of superior customer service. Both crews were polite and helpful and I would strongly recommend this company for any in-town or regional moving needs that anyone has.

Three guys came. They were very efficient and able to do the job quickly. Their price was best; their quote was the most competitive compared to other companies I called. They showed up on time. The crew was very professional in their interactions. They were able to complete the job in the time they said they would. I would request the same crew and manager to work with again.

The actual move was flawless. Kudos to my three man team. I even called two days prior to ask them to add a guy because I was concerned about getting the job done with two men. That was no problem. I thought the price was very fair. They had to move a bedroom of furniture, and some minor other pieces/boxes. The guys were polite and professional.Most important, they showed up ON TIME! My only less than stellar moments were when I called the office three times in advance and asked for an email or SOMETHING to confirm the date, time, place and cost of move. Everything was done verbally and I didn't ever get the promised email. But I spoke several times to office people and they always had my move on their calendar so I decided not to worry about it. I just like to have things in writing, which all of the other moving companies I spoke with gave me. I have no complaints at all about the day and would definitely use Sawyers again. i WAS EXTREMELY PLEASED. Pam

These guys were awesome. They understood that this was a difficult move for me and made the very best of it. Very knowledgable, considerate, patient, professional. Great experience and would use this company again if the need arises.

I'll skip the details because after many weeks of us pesting the owner he finally settled with us. Just do your homework before hiring this company. Get things in writing and get a copy and keep an eye on the movers while they're in your home. Do thorough research on reviews from previous customers. You get what you pay for.

It went well. They showed up on time, were professional, quick and did not damage any of our furniture.
