Checking out another companies work.

We use Perdido Heating & Air. I have a maintenance contract with them and they did the Fall one. It was the last check for the year of 2016. They do a good job. They were here the 18th of October 2016. It costs around $98 to $100. I would absolutely use them again. They've always done a good job. I've had them for several years and they always come when they're supposed to. They never leave any mess.

They always tell me what they did and they make suggestions. I have been very happy with them.

Perdido Heating and Air responded to an urgent call when our main HVAC blower fan bearing started making a very loud noise. They provided us a quote and scheduled the repair at our convenience. We also asked them to rebuild the plenum and remove the mold around the duct work which was performed at the same time as the new fan motor replacement.

The experience with Perdido Heating & Air went well. They are a very good company. The young man came into the house very professional, told us exactly what they would be doing and showed us pictures of the equipment they would be using. He worked on the air conditioner and got it running again. We've had absolutely no trouble, it's like we had a new air conditioner installed. They are very good. They are a very reputable company and very honest. You get what you paid for. He sat with us afterwards and explained how to use the digital thermometer that was installed. I would have expected to pay a whole lot more.

The quote given to us by Perdido Heating & Air was a little pricey. I think they wanted to put in a higher unit, they went into the attic to measure and then gave me the tonnage and footage.

Called Perdido heating and air after hrs and got a professional courteous technician who stated he would be out in 25 minutes. On his way the A/C reset and when the technician was advised he was pleasant and courteous and told me to call any time i might need their help. He didnt make a repair but I will be calling them again.

They were very thorough and went beyond the call of duty. They have great customer service and pricing. I also purchased a bi-annual service with them for $69. I found that plan to be less expensive than their competitors. They cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. They explained everything and followed through.

I was happy with their services. I would use them again in the future.

They have always came out when I needed them to. They are very responsible, and their prices are very reasonable. They have understood the urgency of my situations in the past, and they have been very reliable. I have been using them for over 7 years now, and they always do a great job.

I called Perdido Heating and Air to schedule an estimate on replacing my air conditioner and was surprised to hear that a free estimate could be given the same day that I called. The receptionist was more that helpful. Our system was working at the time but it was well over due for an overhaul. I thought it was very nice of the receptionist to ask if my system was working, because if it wasnt she was going to try and send someone out right away. I received bids from other companies, but none of the "estimators" were quite as thourough as the man from Perdido Heating and Air. He asked if I had any hot or cold spots in the house and even inspected my air ducts. None of the other companies told me that there were tax credits and rebates available for high efficiency air conditioners. Perdido Heating and Air did and I received $2500 in savings. When it came for the 'big day' the crew arrived on time and were very clean. In fact, Im almost embarrased to say that the house was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. I would gladly recommend this company to my friends and neighbors.

My sister and I own our home. We are two single women. Our central AC unit broke on a Friday night and we called Perdido Heating & Air to come and fix it. We were not familiar with them and chose them because they were close to our home. The technician came out and fixed the unit,and we asked if it needed any other work, maintanance, etc. The technician (Eric) said the unit looked and didn't need anything "I wouldn't do a thing." He checked the indoor and outdoor parts. He told us about a maintanance program they had and we told him it sounded like something we might get. The next week we strated noticing water on the floor near the AC unit. We thought the system was clogged and put bleach to clean it. The water became worse so we called Perdido Heating & Air again. A technician named Cliff came out and immediately said "Here is part of your problem. You have the wrong size filter and it contributed to the problem." I told him the technician from his company, Eric, put the filter there. He then said it probably didn't have anything to do with it. He said the coil needed to be cleaned, but he also thought there was a refrigerant leak causing the water to come through the floor. He said he could clean the coil for approximately $350.00, but the problem would probably come back in a year as is the unit had a leak. He attempted to show me the leak but I couldn't see it. He recommended replacing the coil for $1000. We have a gas system and he said he would have to take it outside to clean it. It was raining that day so he suggested doing another day. He stressed that cleaning the coil probably wouldn't stop the water from leaking - we needed to replace it fro $1000. I called the manager of the company (can't remember her name) and told her that our floors were beginning to buckle, and I couldn't understand why Cliff said the unit had a dirty coil, a refrigerant leak, but Eric said everything was fine. I told her I expected them to do something about the problem and not be charged as the first technician shold have seen the problem the first time, thus preventing damage to our home. She offered to come to out and look at the floor and the unit. We were at work and couldn't get home for a few hours. She wanted to come out that minute and flip the circuit breaker "to prevent further damage." I asked what was going to happen after she did that and she said they would replace the coil for $1000. I called back and told the receptionist I didn't want anyone from their company to come out. We called a second heating & air company and they flushed the system, thinking it had a clog. When the water continued to leak, the second comoany suggested it probably had nothing to do with the AC and it might be the refrigerator. We called a refrigerator repairman and found that there was a leak in the water line behind the refigerator. It was spewing water and it had caused the damage. The second AC company was honest - their technican never said the coil was dirty or that it needed to be replaced. We believe Perdido Heating & Air was dishonest and their dishonesty lead to our home being damaged. Had they told us in the beginning that the problem was not with the AC but probably with the refrigerator, we could have had it repaired much sooner. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau asking Perdido Heating & Air for a refund for what he had paid them. We asked for the $566.00 instead of $2000 for our homeowner deductable. The manager said she would give us a refund if we allowed them to come to our home and remove the parts they had placed in the unit.
