Description of Work: Omega replaced old, rotting wood siding from 70's with new board and batten vertical vinyl siding. Omega was great--Mike D. kept us informed from start to finish, and followed up immediately with any questions we had and with several different quotes based on different scenarios and different types of siding materials. I would definitely recommend Omega to anyone looking for great customer service. We did obtain quotes from 3 other contractors, but they either didn't follow up or couldn't do what we needed. This was an extensive project, and although the other quotes were lower, my choice to go with Omega was based on their responsiveness and professionalism. They installed the siding exactly as we wanted, and during the process found some structural issues with our chimney framing that had been caused by water and termite damage. They were able to fix this problem quickly, and to continue the job. We will be using them again for other renovations to our 1970's house.

Description of Work: Nothing. I asked them to go to the building and give me an estimate. They never did so.

Description of Work: A large oak tree fell on our house and we wanted a tarp up asap. They responded immediately and had several men out after 5pm putting a tarp up on our roof. It is a massive hole so I understand that it is impossible to cover but there was a large point of entry for rain that they were nice enough to come back out and try to fix, but we had to have a separate contractor come out to reinforce the area that was leaking large amounts of rain into the house. Otherwise they did a great job and I appreciate their responsiveness to our needs.

Description of Work: took out sliding glass door and replaced with french doors, 2 hard days of work , incredibly professional and hard working.

Description of Work: They gave me an estimate on adding installing railing and a library ladder in an art studio. Not a firm estimate - an estimate of approx. $5000.00 and not to exceed. I could not get a firm estimate that I thought was reasonable. I might use in the future on a different project.

Description of Work: I had Omega perform some wood repair related to old termite damage on a home I was selling in East Hill. Drew and his staff were excellent and easy to deal with. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: We had an add-on room that was in need of support. Drew told us what he could do, and he pulled all the permits and had an engineer sign off on what he was going to do. Mr. Waters and his crew worked in the rain and dug footers, poured concrete, put in rebar, and set bricks. Then they hammered strips of wood to stabilize the floor. It turned out great!! Mr. Waters and his crew cleaned up everything when they were done. I'm very happy with the work.

Description of Work: It has been a long decision process to add an addition to our house and to be honest it has been because of the nightmares we have heard about contractors in the local area. Signing up to Angie's List we discovered Omega Construction and the glowing reviews and decided to take the plunge. Drew came by last night for initial consulting and he was nothing short of professional. It appears we will take the chance with Omega and I plan on providing status updates as the process matures. The initial stage is plans and designs on the rough lay-out of the addition (size and construction) - details will follow. Drew provided input and guidance "after' listening to our thoughts/views and then he provided insight and vectoring. Initial meet was professional and pleasant and we look forward with a bit less trepidation on this endeavor. More to come...............................

Description of Work: Remove popcorn from ceiling in 2300+ sq ft house, repair minor water damage, apply knockdown texture and repaint.

Description of Work: Drew Dennis and his team have performed quite a bit of work on my home which I purchased last year in Gulf Breeze, Florida. He removed the wallpaper from one of the bedrooms (my family and I had already removed the wallpaper from the 2nd bedroom and bathroom before I hired his team). Since the bedroom walls were wallpapered by the original homeowners, the walls underneath the wallpaper had to be fixed before they could be painted. Drew sprayed a light orange peel texture on the walls of both bedrooms and the 2nd bathroom, then painted the rooms in the colors I had chosen. Additionally, Drew and his team removed the old countertop from the 2nd bathroom and installed a six-foot granite countertop in its place. It's worth mentioning that one of the bedrooms is approximately 12 ft by 15 ft, the 2nd bedroom is approximately 15 ft by 20 ft, and the 2nd bathroom is approximately 7 ft by 12 ft. After the painting was complete and the new bathroom counter installed, Drew and his team patched several cracks in the exterior stucco of my home and then painted the patches. They also removed the old caulking from all of the exterior windows as the original caulk was beginning to rot, and then filled in new, high-grade caulk that will resist rotting. Drew and his team are currently working on repairing two damaged windows and a water damaged wall in the master bedroom; I will rate that in a separate review once the work is complete as that work is not tallied into the total above.

Description of Work: General contracting service for a complete renovation of our rental property in Mobile, AL, including: coordinating inspections, repairing and repainting every wall, repairing water damaged ceilings, replacing sliding doors, building deck in backyard, repairing siding & fencing, replacing countertops, sink, faucets, carpet, painting kitchen cabinets, replacing all light fixtures and complete tear out & rebuild of 2 bathrooms.

Description of Work: If you are looking to get any remodeling done give drew a call at Omega. I couldnt have been more pleased with the work they performed and did it quite timely. Scope of the work consisted of opening up a support wall and installing a larger support beam to open the view through the house, over looking the water...Job well done.

Description of Work: We just had all of our windows replaced and the front of our house bricked which was done by Omega Construction and Design.

Description of Work: I had my whole house remodeled. It is a brick and stucco home built in 1949. Walls were added, some removed, new windows and doors were installed. I had a complete kitchen remodel and two bathrooms taken to the bare studs and everything replaced. The job was completed on time and everything to my satisfaction. I only wish that I had taken Drew's suggestions and replaced some things while I had the opportunity. I am very particular and he is even more so. I would highly recommend his company to anyone. His crew was always on time, worked efficiently and professionally. Drew is licensed in Florida and Alabama.
