Nelson's Appliance Repair

It was okay. It ended up being kind of a waste of money because I ended up getting a new appliance instead. He didn't really look at it he just told me what's wrong based on, you know, the things I said were happening. I think there responsiveness was good from what I can remember. I guess the quality was fine. The reason I was giving an overall B is he didn't even look at the dishwasher he just said this is what's wrong. I think he should have looked at it.

Initially, they were called a couple of weeks earlier to repair our refigerator. While they were there they took a look at our stove as well. They were extremely prompt, professional and friendly. They explained things as they worked, which was very helpful. Unfortunately multiple trips were necessary, but they was due to part defects, not their work. They were very fair in there pricing and didn't charge for labor every time they came out. We were quite pleased with their work; they were friendly and maintained professionalism at all times and were very knowledgable. We would certainly use them again and highly recommend them.

Arrived on time. Checked refrigerator and freezer for common problems. Used voltage meter to check suspected parts. Found the part that failed and replaced it. Cleaned up work area. Very polite and professional. ined everything he was doing and why he was replacing the part. Waited for the freezer and refrigerator to start cooling.

Excellent very prompt and courteous. Discussed what was required and completed work in a timely manner.

OK- replaced dishwasher with a new one from Sears- they ordered/delivered/installed it!

This is the second company we called. We were having an issue with our gas stove. My husband called at 12:30 on Friday the 7th of August, but could only get voice mail. He left a message and to date (8/13/15) we have never gotten a return call. We employed another company and will not use or recommend Nelson's in the future. If they are that busy, I suggest they invest in a receptionist that can take calls and schedule work.

They did not find anything wrong. The repairman suggested I not load the washer too full when washing towels.

Fixed the frozen coils and replaced a part

They were running late and I had to reschedule, but they called when they were going to be late and that is always a plus! The guys came in and set to work figuring out why my refrigerator was leaking, turns out I installed the filter wrong. They blew everything out from under and in the pipes and reinstalled the filter. I have not had any problems with it since they left. Great job!

They were so nice and great. They came out on Sunday which was amazing. They cleaned my washing machine.

It was wonderful. They were out within the next day from purchasing the big deal. It ended up going over because we ended up needing a whole new panel. We got the 10% senior citizen's discount. In fact, there were several problems they found. They just kept coming back until they got it done. Certainly, they were knowledgeable and persistent. They kept in contact with us about the parts that had to be ordered. They were here when they said they would be here. The price is very reasonable. I will absolutely use them again. In fact, he already told his daughter to call them because she's having trouble with her dishwasher.

They were extremely nice and helpful over the phone. They let me know that I didn't even need the service but that we could keep in contact; they were very personable!

They never really fixed the problem. It didn't last very long.

Excellent!! Patrick and Andrew Nelson (Father & Son team) responded immediately after I purchased a repair coupon thru Angie's List "Great Deal" program. An appointment was scheduled, and when they learned that they would be delayed by 45 minutes...THEY CALLED!! What repair people do that any more??? After my washing machine was working again, Patrick took the time to explain the function of the rods that support the drum. Additionally, he took additional time to teach me techniques for using a new induction stove that I just purchased. Terrific, old-fashioned, professional service. Who knew that great work ethics like those demonstrated by Nelson's Appliance Repairs still exist. Hire these fellows....you'll be just as pleased as I am this afternoon.

I. Would use his services again and would highly recommend him to anyone. He arrived a few minutes early, very professional and knew what he was doing- the ice maker part he put in proved to be defective and when I called to inform himhe immediately called me back and came right over to replace it. Such customer service is a rareity nowadays.

There were no troubles with scheduling. They initially came over to diagnose the problem and ordered the part. They came back, installed the part, and the oven works fine. My experience with them was very good!

They arrived at arranged time, was very friendly and professional. Repaired icemaker, put new water line to refrig, and cleaned up any mess. I was very pleased with their services.

I noticed the normal flow of cold air on my 15-yr old GE side-by-side refrigerator wasn't blowing thought the cooling vent on trop shelf and that foods were not as cold as expected. Also, the sound of the refrigerator trying to blow air was louder than expected. Patrick Nelson answered my call right away; he asked me if there was any ice buildup on the freezer's back panel (there was) and suspected the problem to be a defrosting problem. He arrived the next day and confirmed thing were not defrosting, as the cooling coils were covered over with ice. He used a portable steamer to quickly steam the ice off but didn't have the correct parts on hand for my specific model. He placed an order for parts and returned as couple of days later. Repairs were completed in about one hour. Mr. Nelson give me a detailed explanation about how this problem occurs and what to expect over time.

Mr. Patrick Nelson shows up when he says he will, does the work, explains the work, answers any questions and charges a fair price. I am a very pleased customer and will call him again.

Showed up on time, repaired the problem quickly, tested the machine to confirm repair. He was a happy fellow and quite conversational.

He was able to show me how the affected circuit board was damaged (chips were blown right off the board). He had the necessary board to replace and repair the washer in the truck and was able to complete the service in one call. Nice guys and very happy with th service we received.

Due to the cost of replacing the burned up motor, Mr. Nelson advised me that I should replace my washing machine. I really appreciated his advice, because he obviously placed my best interest before his own. He could have made more money by repairing the washing machine, but he advised me that replacing it would be a better option. I have used them twice and will definitely use them again. He also showed me how to replace a water filter in my refrigerator,as a courtesy. I really like and trust them.
