The price quoted for the pool that I wanted was a good price but the quality and professionalism was inadequate. The guys that installed the pool left dried up concrete on the grass which killed the grass. I had concrete patio installed around the pool and added concrete to attaché to and existing concrete pad and within 3 days the concrete started to crack in two places. The owner said he would look at it after the 30 day curing process but never came back to look, so when I called about 6 times I always got the answer that someone would call me back but never received a call back. I would never had paid all the money to have my pool built if I would have known how unprofessional this company was

They were very pleasant when they came out for initial inspection and estimate. It took a while for then to come out and do measurements on the liner but I agreed to pay half of the estimate for ordering the liner. It has now been 2 months and 3 weeks since we paid and ordered liner and we still do not have it installed. They have not returned any of our phone calls. We are very dissatisfied at this point.

Based on Angie?s List reviews i contacted Johnson pools to investigate a slow pool leak at my rental house. To aid in troubleshooting I relayed information from my tenant that there was a little bit of water leakage near the pumps. Someone from Johnson went out and said the Polaris pump needed replacing and gave me an estimate of $460. I asked if it was a Sta-Rite pump, as that estimate was ridiculous for anything else. They confirmed it was. A few days later my tenant reported the pool still leaked. I called Johnson Pools and they went out again and reported the liner needed to be replaced and said there were ?at least a dozen holes in it?. Now how they knew that without diving was amazing in itself in addition to not ?finding? this the first time. The day after that, my tenant said the pool was not only a little low, but EMPTY. I went out to the house and indeed it was empty and additionally the pump which was installed was NOT a Sta-Rite but a Mexican built pump (not even secured to the platform!). When i asked Gary (manager) he looked me in the eye and said it was ?owned by Sta-Rite and listed at $499? telling me what a deal i got. Upon checking the price on the internet, the exact pump could be purchased new (WITH WARRANTY) for $224 at Amazon or on E-bay for $179. In the meanwhile I received an estimate for liner replacement and contacted the OWNER asking for a few hundred dollars off to compensate for the unnecessary pump replacement and overcharge and informing him about the disinformation his manager peddling. The owner NEVER called back as promised or returned calls! I would NEVER do business again nor advise anyone to deal with the blatant trickery and dishonesty of this company! These are like the guys who end up fixing your car for $2000 in problems you never had before bringing it in for an oil change.

When we returned from our summer vacation our pool had turned green. We tried all of the recommended treatments but never got the pool water completely clear. We called Johnson pools and they came and worked the pool for several days. They do great work, are very professional and friendly.

Among the providers from whom I obtained quotes, Johnson Pools had the best price among the reputable providers. The work was done on time, without any unexpected costs or problems. The owner Dan Johnson checked on the progress of the work personally. The workers cleaned up the whole area well as the process of plaster preparation and installation creates dust ; The lanai and pool surround were powerwashed after the plaster preparation process and after the installation process. The entire pool surround was power washed for free. In all excellent work.

Excellent, although there was a delay in installation from time of estimate due to ordering the liner, and the busy season they were in, the coordination and communication was excellent. They worked with my tenant to select the style of the liner and coordinated with the tenant and I on time for the install. The work was done quickly and they ensured the work was done properly. Really impressed and definitely recommend using them. I know I will.

My experience with Johnsons Pools was great. They were at the job and knowledgeable. They came out, set what I needed and everything that they told me was correct.

Johnsons Pools Inc is excellent. They take care of my pool, they do it all of me so I don;t have to do anything. They are on time and if you need them they are there. They have good employees that are very reliable. I don't have anything bad to say about them.

At first when I scheduled appt, they told me it was a week lead time for someone to come out. I was ready to keep looking for another pool service provider but gave them a chance based on reviews on Angie's List. That same day a technician called to get details and to setup appt. He actually came out the next morning and check system. Could not find a leak and had me perform a couple things so he could come out a couple days later and check pool water level. Still could not find any leaks and advised me they would not charge for the visits. Basically he spent no more than 30 minutes with both visits to perform a few checks. Was very knowledgeable and gave me all the info as to why or why not there maybe a leak in the underground plumbing. This was based on the signs he saw for the issue. Customer Service was great and the guy was very nice. It says something for a company to know there should not be a charge on the type of work they did which was just performing a quick check over the system. I will keep Johnson Pools on my list of future contacts for any pool issues. I did refer someone recently to them and they advised me price quote was great and customer service was great. I recommend this company.

My experience overall went very well. The staff was professional and friendly. The pricing was competitive. I was pleased with the outcome of service and would recommend this company to others.

They are excellent, excellent people. It is an in ground. I decided to use them because of good service. I've used them in the past. I thought their price was fair. Their quality of work is excellent. Their responsiveness is good. I call them and they come. I would surely use them again in the future if need be.

They have done an excellent job over the years

They showed up about 15 minutes late to the property. They were very nice during the inspection, and explained everything in detail. Explained what wasn't working, and why. They explained what needed to fixed immediately, and what could wait. The issue came when they didn't send the report to myself or my real estate agent. I asked to have a copy faxed to me- and I never got it. The inspection was done on a Thursday morning, so I gave it until Monday and called my real estate agent. She never got it, and said she would call. We needed this information to submit what we wanted repaired. I was under a time deadline or the contract was going to be voided and I would lose my retainer. The deadline blew past without a word from Johnsons pool. I had to submit a release of contingency to the seller without ANYTHING from the pool on it because we didn't have the report. Johnson's Pools NEVER returned any calls or emails. Not to me or my real estate agent. I finally was able to talk to a real live person 12 days AFTER the inspection was done. It was obvious in talking to her that she knew who I was- she was familiar with the property and the report. She argued with me to say that it was sent, but I must have over looked the fax. My fax machine is at my house- my real estate agent's fax is monitored at their receptionists desk. I found it hard to believe we both over looked the fax. She finally sent the report on the day I talked to her- at 456pm. They close at 5pm. I talked to her on the phone first at 915am that day. Then when I got the report it states that the pool liner needs three patches. When I was there, in person, the inspector told me that the pool HAS three patches in place. Either he was wrong or the report is wrong. He also showed me some hoses that needed to be replaced due to dry rot. There was no mention of them in the report. It seems to me they forgot to do it, and vaguely remembered things about and threw together a report. I was planning on using this company for my repairs based on my meeting the workers- but not now. I would never trust them.
