This guy didn't do anything for me. I called and had him come out and give me a quote. He said he would get back to me in a few days. I called and the office said he was out of town for a few days and he'd get back to me. I waited until the following week and called again and was told again from the office he would call me back. I never heard anything back. I was highly disappointed because I thought this guy was going to give me the best quote out of all of the companies I had come assess my situation. However I never received a quote. :(

It went very smoothly and professionally. Called when they were on the way - arrived on time.

After checking Angie's List for a highly rated HVAC company I settled on Hamrick A/C & Htg. An appointment was made promptly which was great because I had limited time in town to accomplish this and several other services. The tech arrived on time and began the process of reviewing the system. I as by his side most of the time asking questions and he always answered and answered honestly. Turns out this is an older system and no longer being produced. If there were to be any major issues I was advised to consider replacing it rather than investing any significant dollars in repairs. I had also recently purchased a new WiFi Thermostat but needed a common wire available to make it work. The tech checked the diagram on the inside panel of the furnace and promptly connected an unused wire and viola, I had the needed wire to make my new thermostat work. The tech removed the blower and took it outside to hose it off. He checked both the inside furnace and the exterior AC unit and clean both. Both were in working order but both were past their prime. The tech took ample time, actually spent more time then I had guessed. This to me indicated that he was being very thorough and took pride in his work. I now have a clean system, a working system and know that I've done all I can to get the maximum use out of an old HVAC system.

Jason was here at 8 am started on heat pump and then cleaned the outdoor unit, very nice and professional, all good, good price, will use this company again

From the phone call to make the appointment to the actual repair, these guys are terrific! I called to make the appointment and the gentleman on the phone was polite and courteous. It really made me feel like I called the right place. He even offered to send someone right over, that's service! On the day of the appointment I received a call from the technician (Buddy). He was also very polite and respectful. He looked over the unit and found the fan was stuck, and fixed it in no time flat. He also noticed that I have an old unit and did some testing to make sure everything was in good shape, as I just purchased this home, that made me feel good. He also made me aware of incentives offered by the power company, should I decide to change the unit in the future. He also took the time to review some of the maintenance that would need to be done in the future, and explained to me why it needed to be done. Buddy and the guys at Hamrick did an outstanding job, and provided a level of customer service, rarely seen in the trade industry. Not only would I highly recommend them, but I programmed their number in my phone in case of a future problem! Great job guys thank you for your professionalism. Their price was great, the quality of work was great also and their responsiveness was great. Especially in that time of year everybody cranking their AC's up and when I called them they came to see me the next day so I would say that was very timely.

I had a positive experience. They came in and did exactly what they said they were going to do. They looked into our system first and then told us about how much it is going to cost and how much time it would take to do the job. We went ahead and they did an excellent job. They were very professional and explained what they were doing. I would definitely use them again.

I probably could have bought my own thermostat and replaced it for cheaper but I paid for the convenience of on the spot repair

We received estimates from three companies, but Hamrick was the only one that did a thorough - and I mean THOROUGH - plan for the removal and replacement of our old HVAC system. Scott measured every room, window, and air duct. He and his team crawled under the house and up in the attic. When he presented the estimate to us, he had planned every step of the removal of the old system and the design and installation of the new system. Because they had done so much prep work, the entire removal and replacement process was done quickly and efficiently. Scott and his team were very courteous and kept us updated as the process moved along. They were able to do the entire process in 5 days. When the power company rep came to inspect the work (so that we could get a rebate), he said that he could tell it was a Hamrick job. Very well done. Oh, and the cost was the same as the estimate - no hidden surprises or add-ons.

They came when they said they would , worked diligently, finished on time, explained how to use system and cleaned up when they were finished

The a/c unit was back up and running the same day I called about no a/c and excessive condensation. My wife and I were very pleased about the prompt and couteous service

My condenser was dead and they gave me a quote for a replacement and for a repair. It was more than I was willing to pay for the job but the tech wasn't pushy like appliance repairmen tend to be. They do everything flat rate so there was no room to haggle. I didn't end up going with them for the replacement but did feel a lot better about the diagnosis when no other businesses even wanted to look at it before giving me pricing all saying if the Hamrick tech wrote XXXXXXX is bad on the diagnostic sheet then XXXXXXX is whats wrong with it. That was quite a compliment from their competitors I think. I'd look at them again if something went out.

He spend a good deal of time on the system and I was impressed with his work ethic

I am really happy with the work. The guys were very courteous. They gave me an estimate and the estimate was exactly what it cost.

Everything was great. They were responsive, knowledgeable, and did a good job.

They did a fair job. My sister had a mobile home put in and they put in the AC and cut a new vent in the floor. They eventually got it working fine. They made everything right, what wasn't right the first time they came back and fixed. I thought their price was a little high.

I was quite satisfied with them. They showed up on time and they did what they were supposed to do. They were professional and I was quite pleased. It has been a while since the heat pump had maintenance and there was something wrong with it. There was one thing they fixed and it has worked fine ever since. I would recommend them and suggest people to use them. There is a regular contract that I have with them. My wife and I recently moved to Pensacola and we normally had the AC and Heating unit checked over and maintained twice a year. It was one thing that I have been putting off and that is calling them and having them come and check it out and get into a regular contract with them which I will do. I will consider using them regularly. My experience with the heating and air conditioning people is that the good people are a little expensive and you have to be careful because you could spend money and not get good service. If you want good service it is not going to come cheap. As far as price goes they are little pricey.

Hamrick Air Conditioning & Heating provide excellent, profresssional and friendly service. The Lenox product line is superior and the unit I had installed lower my summer electric bil by $120 the first month.

Very prompt service and the technician thoroughly explained everything he was doing. He pointed out how bad the coils were in my unit. He also gave me some information on rebate programs and tax credits that were available if I decided to replace my unit.

Everything was performed professionally. They did a good job and cleaned up any mess they made. If I had one thing to say about the experience is this. I signed up for the preventive agreement. I did ask for one extra thing to be done. I wanted to have a thermostat installed which I bought. I was told by the tech it would cost $90.00 just to install the thermostat. I told him I would do it or have someone else do it. I did not expect to pay $90.00 to install this thermostat. Other than that, I was very pleased with the service I received. I gave a B grade for the install price of the thermostat only. The price of the preventive service is a good price.

He said the $240 did not include cleaning or anything else. He said that it would cost an additional $40 per pound of refrigerant. If the temperature were not so hot, I would have immediately cancelled and called another company because they are in my estimation over priced. Compare the cost of service calls with companies like American Heating and Airconditioning before you use this one because American both inspects, cleans and installs 2 pounds of refrigerant for $240. Ultimately, the unit started cooling again but if you decide to deal with this company, try to get a better estimate of cost before they come out because I believe you can definitely get more for your money elsewhere.
