My father-in-law was the one who actually supervised the project they did at our house (roofing a new extension on our driveway for covered parking)... he is a contractor, and was very impressed with the work that Guy Brothers performed.

Description of Work: Needed a roof inspection for insurance. Contacted Guy Brothers and was told it would take up to a week to complete. I called back after about 10 days, was told they would contact me and come out within a day or so. I called one more time a few days later, and was again told I would be contacted soon. A day later I was contacted that they completed the inspection and the roof looked good. They did send me a letterhead note to confirm that. I would have liked to be aware when they were coming so that I could have been there.

Description of Work: Had a leak that another Angies List company attempted to fix without success at a much higher cost. In fact, the failure of the first company resulted in additional damage to our ceiling... Guy Brothers did an outstanding job. We have gone through some very heavy rains and thanks to them the leak was fixed...

Description of Work: Called for estimate for roof leak repair. They responded a few days later. Discussed scope of work on site and agreed upon a price of $350.00 which seems reasonable. Was tokd that work would be accomplished in two weeks. At the three week mark I called and did not receive a call back. Received a call at week 4 stating that they had not promised a start date as I understood it. At week 5, I called and cancelled my request for their work. I can appreciate work being scheduled inline with existing contracts. However I'm of the opinion that since my roof leak problem involved a relatively low charge contract and was over an exterior porch, that it was floating around for some "convenient" time to fit in between more lucrative contracts. I guess my real issue is that I received no courtsey calls giving me a reasonably firm date when the work would be done followed by doing just that. Not a professional business approach and really poor customer relations. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Description of Work: I needed a report done for my my insurance company to determine age and condition. I had a local flyer with another companies name in there, and recall seeing your commercial and I hadnt been to the site recently. I checked out the name of the other business and found out that another subscriber had a horrible experience. A friend said to call Guy Roofing and my neighbors said they had used them after a hurricane, I called this morning and they were out before 1100 today and my report was completed at 1415 today. The owner Michael Guy was who visited me, he was very personable and friendly. I will be using them in the future for any roofing needs.
