The repair was completed 4 days after leaving the TV with the shop. I briefly looked at the TV as I was picking it up in the rather dimly lit shop. I should have inspected it more closely. Now that it's home in better lighting there are 6 long scratches across the TV screen, each about 7-8 inches in length. Also the silver frame has several dents that are black where the finish was knocked off. The attached picture shows where they cracked the outer casing of the TV. I'll be contacting the shop tomorrow to request refund and replacement. I'll post an update with their response.
Description of Work: TV repair following a lightning strike which the shop diagnosed as a damaged main board.

It took several weeks to get any progress reports, and then only after I called them. I was given the same answer: "we need a little more time." After 3 months I announced that I wanted to retrieve the unrepaired coffee maker. They claimed that it was impossible to get the part that was needed, due to planned obsolescence. I was disappointed by the exceedingly long time it took to get a final answer. In all fairness, they did try to find a solution. 2/3/14
Description of Work: Attempted repair of a broken grind and brew coffee maker.

Avoid this company if possible. It took them 5 weeks just to pick up my TV, then they forgot to order the parts. It took me calling 4 or 4 times in a 4 week span for them to finally order the parts, then it took another 1 1/2 weeks for them to repair it. Terrible customer service
Description of Work: Tried to repair but took 5 weeks so we just picked it up. It was $50.00 just to look at it.
