Loved the salesman , Darren Dowler. Installation team was very professional. Quality products. they are quite busy so there is a 3-4 week delay after you order your windows.

Folkers windows was very professional from the first contact to the last. Clark Lunt was the first person I had contact with as he came to do an estimate. He was professional and advised me of the rules Florida has on window replacement in order to avoid mandatory hurricane shutters. Another company had not told me this info and that could have been a huge expense that I would have never known about. After I ordered the windows there was a few week waiting period but all office staff was nice when I would call and check status. Two guys arrived to install the windows once they came in and the were friendly and did a really nice job.

We contacted Folkers in late-April to get some advice and an estimate on the most economical way to protect our home from wind damage without the need to be climbing a 20'+ ladder to secure second-story windows. After making an appointment Darren arrived at our home promptly and after surveying our home suggested we install impact-resistant windows on the second floor windows and steel storm panels on the ground-floor openings as the most cost effective way of meeting our safety goals. Once we agreed on the work and price, Darren said it would take approximately 6 weeks for the windows and panels to be fabricated and that they would contact us then to schedule the installation. In early-May we were advised that the materials were ready and an installation time and day were set. On the morning of installation the two-man crew of Darel and Jay arrived on-time and immediately set to work. They worked throughout the entire day without even taking a break for lunch. They were quick and courteous, at one point even checking to make sure no curios, knickknacks, etc, were on interior walls near where they would be drilling to ensure that nothing would be damaged and they even worked around the in-and-out needs of our dog throughout the day. All the work was completed in one day, all old windows and materials were removed from the site, and the crew left our home in a perfectly clean state; also leaving behind a diagram indexing where all the panels went with each panel labeled to the corresponding index. All in all, a top notch and professional home improvement experience.

We needed to replace our old windows so we consulted Angie's list and called Folkers Window Co. I was able to meet with Clark, their sales representative, the following week. He was very knowledgable about the different types of windows he was selling and tailored to our specific needs. The windows were custom built at the factory so another individual came out for more precise measurements of the windows. It took about four weeks for the windows to be shipped from the factory to Folkers and they were able to install that week. Two installers came to the house and explained the entire process in length about what they would be doing for the installation. The windows and shutters were installed in one day. During the installation they laid down blankets on the inside of the window and vacuumed when they were finished. Before they left, they went around the house, cleaned the windows, picked up any garbage that was laying on the ground and asked if I had any questions about the work performed. All in all it took a little over a month from start to finish and I have had no problems with the windows thus far. Everyone that I encountered, represented the company in a professional and helpful manner. I would recommend Folkers to others looking to have their windows replaced as well.

It was very smooth. They removed old window, moved furniture, and replaced it with a new cleaned and shinny window. I found them on Angie's list. My only complaint is that I have to have two memberships on Angie's to accessPensacola businesses, because we are grouped to Panama City which doesn't provide services in Fort Walton.

Clark was great! He spent a great amount of time with me explaining everything to me, even letting me know about permits that I needed to have pulled due to my location. He was very informative and knowledgable. When I go through with this project, I will definitely be using them.

I haven't seen the installation and what it looked like. I have to wait and see them. I think it would be great if they got some recognition as well. They came out in a timely manner. I didn't have to wait very long at all. We had a horrible ice storm and they were supposed to come out on the day of the ice storm. They rescheduled and followed-up to make sure that they have the appointments. They were on time to the minute. So far, it was really good. They gave me an estimate of $3520. It was very good.

We called, and a very pleasant and very experienced lady came to our house. We discussed what we wanted and she made helpful suggestions. She they wrote a very specific estimate for the "hurricane proof" windows that we had agreed upon, for the scope of work, for the probable timetable and for the legal matters such as permits, worker's compensation insurance and so on. Three months later, we called back. A crew showed up when promised, got to work and did all the windows in one day! I was amazed at how much they accomplished: no showing up late, no fooling around, no quitting at 2pm, no objectionable habits demonstrated. If only every company were like this! Several weeks later, one of the windows developed a crack in the glass. I called Folker's (Lunt Enterprises), they ordered the window, they showed up an replaced it. Super Dooper! No problems since then, though we haven't had any hurricanes either. Definitely recommend.

Not only has the house been transformed by the vastly improved products installed but in every instance from the initial estimate to the measuring and actual installation Folkers was there as promised! They were actually a bit early for each visit. I cannot stress the first rate professionalism this company shows at all times. They're friendly, too! Top Rate!! and I will use this company again.

The quality of the high impact windows that I got were excellent. The customer service was pleasant and right on the ball when it came to responding to questions.

First off, Clark is a true salesman. He showed up on time and had my wife and I sold just by his knowledge and enthusiasm for his product. When it came time for work, the men showed on time, but don't expect a wham bam job. They took their time to ensure a quality job. Great work.

From the first contact they were professional across the board. No complaints, clean, punctual and the windows look great!

On time and worked quickly. They cleaned up the mess and answered all my questions. The windows look wonderful.

Windows were fogged between glass and I thought i needed to replace the whole window. Folkers informed me I could just have the glass replaced. They came out and measured, gave me a price, called and set up a time and day for installation. Installers showed up right on time. did a great job. Left the windows and my property clean. I could have probably has this done cheaper but I am one of those people that just want the job done right. No hassles. Great Job. Love that I can see clearly now.

I had a consultation with Clark (I think it was Clark) to discuss what I needed and I was happy with what he offered. He had someone come to take measurements for custom sizing. He advised me of the wait time which was about 4 to 5 weeks I believe. I got the call to set up installation and everything went as I'd hoped with no problems. I was so pleased with how smoothly everything went from the first meeting to the installation and clean up. The two young men who installed the windows were pleasant, quick and very efficient. They were very polite and professional. I'm going to replace all the windows in my mom's house and probably of couple of doors. This was a custom job as apparently all their work is. The windows were ordered specifically for this cinder block house built in 1955 but Folkers price was better than what was quoted by either Home Depot or Lowe's and the installers are Folkers employees not contractors as they would have been from the big stores. That was important to me. I'd much rather deal with a small, local business than a huge company who has no real connection or responsibility with the person who does the actual work.

They did excellent work. They came with footies on their feet and kept the floors clean. They installed the windows and cleaned them and made them look really nice for me. They also took any trash with them.

Everyone involved with the process was wonderful! They put all six window in in one day, They even vacuumed after they were finished! The windows look fantastic and we couldn't be happier! We have another dozen windows to replace and Folkers will be putting them in!

Very professional from initial estimate to completion. The Folkers employees went out of their way to be helpful and informative in all stages of the job. They gave sound advice on various options and installations. We were initially quoted 6 to 8 weeks from order to completion. Installation was done in a bit over 5 weeks. The service folks were very neat and professional. Installation went smoothly and there was no mess when they were done. We had used a different contractor for our windows last year (Window World) to save some money. I really wish we had used Folkers then also. The difference between the two companies I night and day. I can't say enough about how pleased we are with the service and quality we received from Folkers.

Everyone was great from the salesperson to the estimator. They figured out some problems that we were having and how we could rearrange things. I had used them before. My experiences with them have been very good. They had an offer where if we buy three windows, we would get the fourth one free. So I bought eight windows but paid only for six windows.

When we bought our house on Santa Rosa Sound in 2008, it had no storm protection of any kind. We immediately set about looking at options. Folkers was one of several companies we called to give us estimates. A few of them were a bit baffled by how to deal with putting shutters on a house that had so many different types and sizes of windows (some of them difficult to access) while others of them simply didn't show up for scheduled appointments, or came once to look at the house and never got back with us. Folkers was smart and sent their best spokesperson, Linda to come see us. Not only was Linda the most well versed in all of the available options, she was knowledgeable in explaining how a hurricane works to destroy a home. Most importantly, Linda took the time to get to know us and realize that we spend a great deal of time traveling for business, and that we can't come home on a moment's notice to install shutters. Linda helped us to determine that from both a storm safety and security standpoint, our best investment would be impact glass. At first we were nervous about undertaking such a major, expensive project. Linda helped us to break the project up into three phases, focusing on our home's most vulnerable areas first. Folkers has now completed 2 of the 3 phases of converting our entire home to impact glass, including the installation of a beautiful full etched glass front door, transom, and sidelights that have completely changed the look of our home. We could not be happier with the service or the quality of workmanship we have received. The crew comes and systematically removes and replaces one window at a time. When they are gone, other than the beautiful new windows, you wouldn't know you had just undergone a major renovation, for they leave no trace....not so much as a chip in the paint around any window. They even re-installed all of the blinds. In addition to giving us peace of mind, the impact glass reduces glare and noise from outside, and has significantly reduced our energy costs. 3/26/13 - Update! Folkers just installed a beautiful new sliding door and transom to replace an 8x8 slider. The work was meticulous and the difference to the look of our living room is amazing. The work Folkers has done for us has been phenomenal, and we highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to install new doors or windows.

From the initial meeting to the final installation this process could not have been more enjoyable. The folks at Folkers really do an excellent job from start to finish!

Folkers came into our rental home to replace the shattered tempered sliding glass door (both sides/panels of glass) in our Florida room. Their technicians removed the broken glass panels of the door, removed and replaced the internal white panes, and replaced/installed the two new pieces of glass for the sliding glass door. Then they proceeded to clean-up the entire area and return the door to the original manufacturers disposition. They were very friendly and helpful to our tenants and their children and during the course of their installation, pointed out another piece of glass in the dining room that was cracked and needing replacement to our tenants. Very great company and staff! Very, very reasonable prices and they gave us a military discount on top of their low prices! Fantastic company!!s

Folker's Windows is OUTSTANDING! Let me preface this with the fact that although Pensacola (where Folker's is) looks close on a map to Panama City, where my home is, it is a bit of a hike, and the Folker's people came over without a question to the distance and were on time for everything scheduled. This was a great experience from start to finish and we are extemely pleased with the entire process and most especially our new windows. From initial estimate to final installation Folker's was outstanding. Clark Lunt (sales) showed up precisely at the appointed time to provide us with an estimate, in doing so, he was very thorough in looking at each and every original window throughout the house, taking measurements and making suggestions for replacements. He then sat down with us and went through each and every available option for us and the budget we wanted to maintain. Once deciding on type and wind-rating of the windows we wanted, he left us with a detailed estimate for full replacement and recapping of all windows in the house. Now here is where he really won us over, by meeting two distinct requirements. At the time Clark gave us the estimate I was laid off from work, so we did not immediately schedule the windows to be replaced. In fact, actual installation of our new windows took place months after Clark provided us with the initial estimate. So, he hung in there with us and honored his estimate until the time came where we were comfortable having the installation performed. First and foremost, Clark was patient and understanding of our situation and stood by his estimate regardless of time. Secondly, since we are not what we consider our final home and do not plan to stay there for good and did not want to break the bank so-to-speak, we had a clear budgeted number established that we wanted spend and yet get the very best windows we could for the price. Clark worked with us on meeting that number, in fact, he got us just under that number for the windows we wanted!! From that point everything went just like clockwork, the detailed measurements were taken by the Folker's team exactly when they said they would be. All other appointments were kept and right on time I might add. The installers, Erin and Jay, were top notch, really knew what they were doing and did it well. Both were very professional, showed up early, and did a proposed three day job in two days, and did it to perfection. YOU NEED TO KNOW, Folker's policy is; if the initial installation does not meet the customers satisfaction and rework has to be performed the installers don't get their bonus. Believe me, these guys do it right the first time! Beautiful windows at a great price, sold and installed by great people who truly care about the job that they do.
