Bob’s company worked for us 2 times and performed very well in each case. We added a new 2nd floor room over a completely open area. We also called Edwards after Hurricane Sally for significant repairs. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again!

Bob and his entire crew were wonderful. The guys were professional, courteous, punctual, and provided me excellent results. I couldn't be happier with my new half bath. I am looking forward to future projects with this company.

Robert came out to give me a bid for a total home remodel, and really provided no consultation at all and at most maybe spent 30 minutes at my house. Robert told me that he'd provide a bid in about 1 - 2 weeks from our initial meeting, and never followed up with the bid nor any subsequent communication. I ended up hiring a top contractor in town, and unlike Edwards Building and Design, were very prompt and professional. Don't waste your time here.

It went ok.

We have an older house. Part is over 100 years old, so there were several challenges. Therefore the job took a little longer than expected. They took there time to figure out what to do and asked for our opinions. Everyone who came was very considerate and helpful. The job included tearing out walls,putting in new sheetrock on walls and ceilings in living and dining rooms ,( painting and new molding. in rooms being worked on), some overhead lighting, and ceiling fans. Gene's flooring put in new carpet in living, dining rooms, and 2 bedrooms and laminate wood in living room. The results looked like a new house. You could not have asked for nicer workers. Thanks guys.

Edwards Building was one of 3 bids I requested from Angie's List for remodeling my rental home. I contacted Mr. Edwards and asked him if he wanted to bid on the project and he said yes. I traveled from out of state to Navarre to meet with him and discuss the details of the bid. He arrived on time and we discussed the project. He told me it would be 2-3 weeks before he could provide the bid and that was acceptable. After 4-5 weeks i contacted Mr. Edwards and asked when I might receive the bid. He then informed me that he was too busy with other projects and would not be able to provide a bid at this time. After I spent time and money to go to Navarre to discuss this project the least Mr. Edwards could have done is provide a bid.

Service provided was outstanding. Workers were friendly and professional. Will use them in the future for other projects

It was a no go...we never heard back from this company.

He told us he probably a couple of months behind and get a quote of what we have we settled. I have a feeling he made it that quicker but I'm not holding my breath. I gave him a couple of months and he didn't call me yet and see if he's worked up the quote yet or not. I really have nothing else to say. I think he was helpful. I would use them in the future.

Kyle and Shane had worked on a 09/16/08 project ffor us of kitchen upgrade and family room make over. Chuck added experience in tracing the needed work and devising appropriate solution and materials.

At the end of a discussion concerning architectural drawings for a detached 4 bay brick garage with a second floor, I asked the architect, "If it was your garage, who would you hire for quality construction?" He responded without any hesitation and stated, "Bob Edwards. He does it right the first time." I was so impressed with the quality of construction of my 24' X 48' garage, that I asked Bob to to build a 12' X 20' brick garden shed for the wife as well as a 12' X 52' extension on the rear of the house. The house extension is so well coordinated with the rest of the house that it looks as if it was part of the original house. A neighbor calls the brick garden shed the "Little house of Snow White." It is aesthetically very pleasing and does not look like a garden shed from the outside. Inside, the garden shed has outstanding functionality with 3 skylight widows above. Bob's workers were amiable, respectful, and highly competent. Bob personally checked the progress of work every day and ensured that construction materials arrived on time. Bob's honesty, attention to detail, and quality of workmanship are superb and I highly recommend him for either new construction or remodeling projects.

Edwards Building and Design is very responsive and uses quality sub-contractors. Bob Edwards personally oversees the work and is very easy to work with making changes to design when requested in the most cost effective and timely manner. Bob is very ethical and will always do the right thing. On our house project he worked with us extensively with our budget and researched many options. For smaller projects he has his own crew which get the projects completed efficiently with minimal disruption. His crew is excellent at re-modeling.

Bob Edwards and his team did an excellent, high quality job on our master bathroom/bedroom renovation, creating a wonderful master suite that our family has greatly enjoyed. From design, consultation on fixtures and finishes, to follow up after the initial construction, this was a great experience. The Edwards team was always highly professional, punctual, and took great care to make sure that considering the scope of the renovation, that our family was inconvenienced as little as possible. They coordinated and managed any specialized subcontractors (such as plumbing and custom tile), and made sure the construction area remained neat and clean throughout the process. The end result is nothing less than fabulous for a very reasonable cost. Our master bath and bedroom area now have the feel of a high end hotel master suite, and we enjoy it every day. It was one of the main factors in us deciding to stay in the house instead of moving or building something else. Many thanks to Bob Edwards and his team, I am sure we will be using them again in the future and would highly recommend them if you area considering any home renovations or improvements!

I've used Edwards B&D for four separate projects, over a ten year span. He has remodeled a kitchen, taking it down to the studs. He's lifted a roof and repaired damage. The third project was to knock out the whole end of my house and add on an extra room for my husband, a walkin closet and a custom beautiful bath. Neighbors kept telling me he had done it so well, they could not tell where the old house ended and the addition began. When we sold that house, he added a new bathroom to the current house. It is magnificent. He had to restructure the roof here as well. When I had wind mitigation inspection, the inspector was awed at how well the new roof was attached.....above current code, double clipped. My points above, is that the quality of workmanship is excellent, in everything. But what I may like most is that he listens to me. When I want/need to change something, it is no problem. Truly. It does not bother him to change things to meet my needs/wishes. BTW: there are also no hidden charges, nothing extra. Everything is totally upfront. There are no surprises. On a scale of 1-10, I give Edwards B&D a twenty. Aha.. memories: when we moved to the current house and I needed small things done to bring this kitchen up to what I had left (pull out drawers under the origianl cabinets in this house), Bob contacted the workman who would do this and he came, did what I wanted and I paid him direct. Bob cares about his customers. This has happened several times.

We had the master bath completely re-done, removed tub and replaced with tiled shower. We ran into plumbing problems totally unrelated to this project (leak in downstairs slab) and had to have all new plumbing installed. Fortunately, Bob was on site already and guided us through the process. At the end of the renovation, he came in on budget. Very pleased and would not hesitate to use him in the future.
