+ -1 moreThe house had granite counter tops. Porcelain sinks were installed under the counter tops. At the 20 month point the sinks fell from under the counter tops. I contacted D.R. Horton and asked for warantee service under the ten year builder's warantee That warrantee states that builder's defects are covered for 10 years. D.R.Horton stated that the sinks failed because I did not seal the counter tops and the water caused the epoxy to fail. I have sealed the counter tops at least twice! . There was NO epoxy but silicone instead. There were no brackets or tabs to hold the sink up. I have paid a handyman to reinstall teh sinks because D.R. Horton refuses to help.
Description of Work: D.R.Horton built our home. The have not honored the builder's warantee they offered us. The sinks in the bathroom granite counters fell out because they were incorectly installed. D.R.Horton said it was my fault because I did not seal the counter top and water disolved the epoxy! I have sealed the counter tops twice! The sinks were not put in with epoxy but silicone instead. No bracket as most inststallers use.

+ -1 moreExcellent. No Complaints. Valerie Heard is the on-site agent and she was very helpful and knowledgeable about the features and benefits. My wife and I have no complaints. We are very thankful our Real Estate Agent told us about the property to view. Valarie was very professional and called our realtor to let her know we purchased a home. We could have not asked for more. Thank you US Retired Army Jackson
Description of Work: We were purchasing a home for our children and we found the experience wonderful. The on-site agent was helpful and easy to work with.

Description of Work: We bought a House from D.R.Horton in Mobile,AL. I am sorry to say that services from D.R. Horton is very bad. We had several repairs that builder promised to do before closing.They never get to done even after closing also.I am fade up with the customer service writing emails and sending reminders. We had ground water leaking in our property ,that builder hidden to us.He never told about that and we also did not see that problem when we came to see the house because when ever we come to see the house it was raining. After a week we bought the house we figured it out and we asked to builder about the water leaking.And their answer is we can not do anything with it.Ans we have so many other problems in the house. Customer service response is very poor.We have checked with our neighbor they are also facing same problems from D.R.Horton Builders. WE STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT DO NOT BUY A HOUSE FROM D.R.HORTON.

+ -1 moreWe discovered our carpet and baseboards were wet in one area of our home. I called a plumber who specializes in leak detection. He found 2 nails in our plumbing pipes;apparent damage done by the builder. This resulted in a slow leak . Uunfortunately for us, we did not discover the leak until we had been in the home for 3 years. We contacted DR Horton and were informed that they were not liable for the damge because our warranty only covered the first year. They will not build our next new home.
