This went great, Joe worked with my pool guy to make sure the concrete went in without damaging my pool. So he does regular concrete work in addition to the coatings. I am planning to do some coating of some areas in my driveway to improve its look and I will look to have him do that. Great business, easygoing, would stongly recommend.
Description of Work: Fixed a section of concrete with cracks around my pool ladder.

Joe Tobler and his assistant, Christian Karsten, spent 4-5 days rehabilitating my worn, old and dirty pool deck which was originally covered with and quot;Kool Deckand quot;. They are both professional and pleasant to deal with and worked steadily to get the job done. They applied a base coat to smooth out the rough existing surface. When dry, they applied a texturizing coat then two coats of the finishing color of my choice. The improvement in the look of the finished deck and it cleanability are remarkable. I would definitely hire Custom Concrete Coatings again. In fact, Christian will be doing some tuck pointing for me as well.
Description of Work: Refinished my pool deck.

My choice of repairing and resurfacing my driveway rather than to break up the concrete and pour a replacement was based on the fact that the several cracks in the driveway had experienced no new activity for a long time and that the cracks were horizontal, not vertical. The crack repair work was done very carefully and then sealant applied, the repaired cracks were taped and a complete driveway sealant applied. Following that, a design (base coat) surface was applied and finally a sealant was applied over the design surface. Two days of drying was necessary after the final coat before I drove over the driveway. The final product was better than I had expected and was less costly than to replace and pour a new driveway.
Description of Work: My twenty three year old 1200 square foot driveway had several cracks but only horizontal separation, no relief across the cracks.. The cracks were carefully cleaned and sealed, a base seal coat was then applied, followed by a base design coat that I had chosen from several examples. A final sealant coat was applied as a last step. My driveway has never looked better. It is expected that I should apply a seal coat on the driveway about every four years to maintain its appearance. This was my choice to seal the cracks and apply a pattern rather than remove and pour a replacement. The process took three days to complete.
