Contacted Commander Air based on reference from Angi. What a great choice. My technician, Derrick, reviewed the lack of heat issue with me, performed a thorough check and test of the system, explained the repair requirements & cost estimate, fixed the system ......and all within the same day. We now have consistent heat in the house that can be easily regulated. What a great company, what a great technician. I would recommend Commander Air to anyone in need of HVAC services. I should also note that the home is only 15 months old. The initial HVAC system installer was out a couple times but did not take the time to make a thorough analysis of the system when compared to Commander

We have used the same people for a number of years, and are pretty satisfied with them. We have sort of a maintenance agreement, but we do pay a visit charge. I will continue to use them in the future.

It went very well.

It went fantastic. Their salesman came to our house within a week. Looked everything over and gave us 4 quotes for 4 different levels of Air Conditioners. Everything he said checked out with everything I had been reading. We pulled the trigger and let them replace our entire A/C and heating units. The guys came in and did a fantastic job. It was extensive to get the old junker out- but they had everything except the anti-mold UV light installed in a day. The UV light tool less than an hour the next day. The house has been cool as a cucumber with controlled humidity now for 3 weeks. Comfort is a glorious thing! They were nice, professional, tidy, knowledgeable and never talked down to us. I would (and have) suggested them to anyone. We chose the Gold plan. (3rd plan of the 4 presented)

I've been using them for years, their first rate. They've always been top notch. Their prices are very fair. They show up when they say their going to and fix the job at a very fair price. They've actually showed me a few things where I could save a little money. I feel they always give me a fair price. They left the area immaculate.

They've always done our maintenance on the ac units. They also put in a fireplace unit.

They had to come back several times but they did not charge me. I've used them for 20 years and I've always been very happy with their service. They have always been very responsive and quick to come out. When I had a problem they were out literally that same day. Prices are reasonable. I have them out every 6 months to check everything out and service my units. They have always done a great job.

The best thing about Commander Air Inc is they're close. They're within a mile where I live. The worst thing, I guess, I wanted a certain part but I can't think of the name of it now, and it took them a while to give it. But the least part of it, I'm very happy with them. They're a good company.

I have used Commander numerous times for my rental units, as well as my personal residence. They respond immediately and do a thorough job.

I called Commander Air last Friday and explained my problem. They graciously set my service up for Monday because I had the day off and could be at home. The service man came out and drenched my ac coils with a professional, antibacterial spray and the odor was gone immediately. The odor is caused by a bacteria and the spray kills it instead of masking the odor with air freshener. He knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it quickly. After putting everything back together, he gave me the bottle of spray and showed me how to use it in case the smell came back. It turns out that the thump noise I heard was the result of my using a new, light weight filter and when the unit turned on, it jerked the filter against the wooden frame that it fit into, causing a "thump" sound. I was happy nothing needed to be fixed. I use Commander Air because this company took care of my elderly father's ac up until he died. I was so impressed with them because they never took advantage of my father and always did a good job for him. So, as a result of that, I have used them for a number of years and have been very happy with their work. They installed my home unit a few years ago and have maintained it for me ever since. Commander is always fair with me and responds quickly to my service needs. I hope they never go out of business!

Commander Air completed a complete removal and replacement of my AC and Heating system. Based on the owner's recommendation Dwayne, I concurred with replacing over 40 year old attic ducting. I replaced my systems with a 16 SERE heat pump with variable speed fan and new programmable state of the industry thermostat. The attic ducting was the latest in best of the industry's materials. The work was completed in three days. The Commander Air team's work was professional and accurate. In other words, they knew how to remove and install a new system without missing a step. We did have one small 3" puncture in the celling drywall that was repaired with no issues. Commander Air processed my home for Gulf Power rebates and we qualified $1,000. This project was well worth the investment and added to resetting the base line for my home to be energy efficient for the next couple of decades. I would recommend Commander Air for projects like mine.

I've used them off and on for a couple of years. I've used them and they did a great job. They are very dependable, reliable and they do what they say they are going to do. They were pretty reasonable.

we called, the man came over that afternoon (late on a Friday). He spotted the problem, had the part in his vehicle, installed it and we were all set. Two weeks later it's still fine.

Commander Air was assigned by the local gas company for this conversion to gas. This included bringing the supply lines into the attic and splitting them off to different appliances. Drywall had to be cut to provide supply to the appliances in the home. They are a very organized and professional group of folks. Great care was taken in every aspect of the job and no cosmetic or functional decisions were made without my input. Always a bonus when they leave the work site in better condition than how they found.

THEY WERE ON TIME AND WHEN THE SERVICE GUY DID NOT HAVE THE PART IN, HE FELT REALLY BAD BECAUSE THE HOUSE WAS 90 DEGREES INSIDE, I AM A ELDERLY DISABLED WOMEN AND THE HEAT WAS HORRIBLE. THE SERVICE GUY, I think his name was burke SAID THAT HE COULD NOT GET THE PART IN BEFORE MONDAY SO, I HAD TO SUFFER ALL WEEKEND, HE FELT REALLY BAD AND KEPT APOLGIZING. THE NEXT DAY ON SUNDAY, I LOOKED OUT THE WINDOW AND HE HAD CAME BACK OVER ON HIS OFF DAY, HE FOUND THE PART I NEEDED AND HE FIXED MY AC ON A SUNDAY...SO AWESOME.

They were timely and showed up when they said they would. They originally gave me an estimate and later found some of the work was not needed and the price turned out to be lower than anticipated. They were clean and didn't apply any hidden fees.

Overall, the air conditioner was repaired by Steveon, a Saturday night, as quickly as he and I could meet, and he made a quick diagnosis, had the parts, and wasted no time making the repair. I was very happy with the company's repairman and his attitude.

our a/c had quit blowing cold air so we contacted a local company (also "a" rated on angies list) to inspect/diagnose problem. the tech was on time and did good job of diagnosing a leaking coil on air handler. after getting multiple quotes on replacing unit. we decided to go with commander air . the reason being they were the only company to recommend replacing just the inside unit because the outside unit was only 3yrs old and still under warranty.this saved us 2k.the techs showed up ontime removed old unit installed new cleaned hte work area and were done by mid afternoon. thanks commander.

They were very good. I liked them and even recommended them to a friend of mine. Their price was fair. I got about three different estimates and these were the cheapest but I can't remember the exact price. They were very courteous. They were on time and they did a very good job. The price was fine.

They will not come out and finish work. Made appointments and didn't keep them. Rude. Wants to be paid before work is completed and inspected. This is 2011 work has not been completed or inspected.

After calling a couple of Angie's List top rated and gotten a "tomorrow" answer, my third try was Commander Air. I called after 3PM and was offered and accepted an after hour service because all repairmen were busy for the rest of the afternoon. To my surprise at 4PM a repairmen called me, showed up in minutes, diagnosticated the problem, and repaired my air in less than a half hour. On top of that I didn't have to pay after hour fees. Commander Air Inc saved me from suffering a miserable hot night. Very professional and respectful. Highly recommended.

Needed new central air/heat installed in older home. They came out, made recommendation and gave a quote. I got other estimates then called Commander Air to come do the installation because they had the best price and I was impressed by their non pressure salesmanship and knowledge of the product.

They listened, made suggestions on things we had not considered, were honest and helpful. Best of all, they cleaned up after themselves! It was a pleasure!
