Substandard quality of work performed. For example, the plastic protective covering was removed from fixtures and flooring prior to work being completed. I still have sheetrock and paint stains on fixtures. I have missing outlet covers, window blinds, and paint trim stains on my wood floors. Thankfully I took photos of all the mistakes. The work was NOT completed, I had a "punch" list of things that needed to be fixed that his crew had not completed, and his response was a 4 page text message saying that I was "never satisfied." The reality of the matter is that I have had one handyman who saw the work and said "I hope you didn't pay the contractor in full," a carpet installer ask for the name of the company so that he would be sure to never recommend or use them, and even a locksmith who pointed out a major problem as soon as he walked in my front door. Another interesting thing is that the owner has now changed the name of his business to "A Colorful Coast." This owner also was for some reason unable to accept a cashier's check from my bank.

Service was performed with minor glitches and delays. Overall work product was satisfactory. Warranty was heavily stressed in sales pitch and all future conversations. Getting them to honor the minimum terms of warranty - annual inspection and power wash - is proving difficult! House was painted in May of 2013. In fact, the annual inspection and powerwash - for the warranty period of the paint (I think two years) was heavily pitched when we were accepting bids on the job, and mentioned over and over again throughout the process, and helped us decide to go with Adkisson over the others considered. They also stressed how their painters are craftsmen in prepping the surface for the paint. I first called to schedule the power was in January 2014, because we planning some other home improvements. We just wanted to be sure to get on the schedule so that we could plan the other work. He told me to call back in March or April, which I did. Every time I've talked with Mr. Adkisson, he immediately rushes to all kinds of excuses about the condition of our doors, and how it's not their fault the doors started peeling after six months. That's not even what we're calling about, specifically, but that's where he goes. We have been trying to get them to schedule our powerwash, and let us know what can be done for our doors for 13 months now. Adkisson himself is evidently working out of state, but he tells me that he's got employees here in Pensacola and he will have them contact us to arrange for the service. So far no one has, and we have given up. I say that they didn't provide the service we contracted - and paid for - because the aftercare was part of the service we bought. We have gotten absolutely no aftercare. All contact has been initiated by us directly to the owner, who promises to have a local employee contact us. It has yet to happen.
