Took out a Bradford Pear that had split and was on my roof..Booked me right away, great customer service and the crew left my yard and job in wonderful condition. Could not have been more pleased with the results. Had 4 different tree care companies view/bid on the job. When the owner, David, came out to view the project, he explained IN DETAIL how he would handle the complex heavy equipment coordination. He walked me through the process and at the end of the assessment provided me with a very fair price estimate. After reviewing all 4 bids I chose David's based on his technical expertise. David also has many years experience as a crane operator. The Company Scheduler, Kelly, kept me precisely informed as to the day and time of the crew arrival and worked with me on removing the tree before Hurricane Nate. The crew arrived on site at precisely the time promised and executed the removal in military precision. A job quoted as taking a day and 1/2 by one bidder, was completed very professionally by A Cut Above Tree Care in 1/2 day. The crew was friendly, cooperative and cleaned up the site as well as my lawn care service performs. Since A Cut Above Tree Care has their own crane and the crew is familiar with its operation, I would VERY HIGHLY recommend the company, especially if you have large trees/limbs that pose a risk to your home or structure. Wife and I could not have been more satisfied. David took pictures of Before/After for comparison. Recommend you ask him photos.

I was pleased with the results, they did a very nice job. The only issue was in the communication between the person that came out for the estimate and the crew that later came to do the actual work. We originally had a plan of what the shape of the trees was to look like but the crew that arrived had a different plan in mind. A quick call to the company and they sent out the original guy who wrote up the job order and also the owner came out as well. Very impressed by how they responded to make sure everything was just as we originally planned.

This was the 3rd time we hired A Cut Above, so it was no surprise that the experience went extremely well from initial contact through job completion. The crews worked 2-1/2 days to complete this large job and went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied. Thank you Chris, Steve, Kelly, and Pam :-)

They were very good. There were four guys, they were experienced. It was a big production. They've gone beyond anything that we could of removed ourselves. They were professional.

I met with the company representative to discuss removing several trees. Less than 5 minutes into our first conversation he received a call from a work crew and was on the phone with them for a few minutes. This really told me that my time was unimportant to him so I had pretty much made up my mine at that point that I wasn't interested in using their service. After he finished his phone call he proceeded to tell me why he would leave certain trees and why it wouldn't be worth it to remove certain trees. I didn't push back because I was already pretty unhappy with the experience. I appreciate his honest opinion but I had expressed my desire to remove the trees. He basically talked himself out of the job. The company may do great work, I'm not sure but initial impressions are important and this one was not positive.

Overall, the work was done quickly and the guys that did the work were nice and professional. It took about 3-4 weeks from the quote to the work being done which isn't outrageous, just something to plan on. They're busy, which is good. I have used this company twice.

Highly recommended. The owner provided the quote and informed me that the crane was going to be used in the area the next day and if time permitted may be able to do my job. To my pleasant surprise the crew was in my yard the next day around 4pm and the job was completed by 7 pm. Very pleased with the professionalism, price, and job completion. I'm using them again at my other home!

They arrived on time and worked all day. They removed all the trash and debris from the job. They climbed on our roof to trim some branches and decided to clean out our gutters while they were up there (nice touch). About three days later, three men showed up to remove trash. We thought the place looked great, but they found some clippings and stump grinding residue we didn't even notice. It took them a long time to start work, but they told us the start date well in advance (I guess they were busy). They showed up the day they said they would and did excellent work. I recommend them to anyone who wants a good and professional job and is not in a hurry to start. I think the good providers are always booked well in advance.

Replied quickly to request. For the estimate, they showed up when scheduled. I needed it done on short notice and they were able to accommodate me, cleared it on day agreed to and let me know when it was done.

Big crew. Worked quickly and cleanly. With better communication I could had had more done.

Could not have been happier! Person that did estimate was professional, knowledgeable, and seemed excited about his job. He was even able to tell me about the tree (estimated age, etc). The workers were on time, professional, and cleaned up very well. Their price was a little higher than other estimates but I think it was worth every penny and would surely use them again.

Have used them for many years and have always been very pleased. They are prompt and always courteous. Very satisfied with the work they perform.

I have used this company before for small jobs around my home. I was satisfied with the previous service. When I called last October for an estimate, they were very responsive and came out quickly to my home. The work I needed to have done was a little more involved and I expected a somewhat higher estimate. I can only say that the amount they wanted to do this work was extreme and I did not choose them to do the work. If money was no object, I may have chosen them. Additionally, the estimator said it would be about 6 weeks before they could begin. I did not like the somewhat unfriendly, snippy attitude of the estimator, but he did give me some good information about trees.
