Kushner Moving Group

Few events in our lives are more dreaded than a move. The thought of picking up everything you own and then moving it into another home, sends chills up the spines of most. However, I will never fear a move again, as long as Kushner Moving Group is coordinating it. I have moved several times before in my life, but the move I just made was the first with Kushner Moving Group. They were recommended by a co-worker. This co-worker's praise was so commendable, I decided to do a little research on Kushner Moving Group. I checked out their web-site and was really impressed with all the letters of recommendation. This was the first move that was comfortable and stress free. That was the most amazing part of it. Their sparkling clean truck, their time efficiency, and even the clean shirts and gloves they wore to protect the furniture was a comfort to my wife and I.

Kushner Moving Group is unquestionably the most professional,expert and reliable moving company I have hired and I will only use this company when I need to make a move - whether it is within the same area or long distance. I have moved more than 20 times in the past 18 years and have used Kushner several times in the last 10 years. The very first time I used Kushner and every time subsequently, I have worked directly with the owner of the company, who not only scheduled my move, but organized it completely, assuming many of the things I have had to do in the past with other companies. And, there is no one more knowledgeable than Estelle! In addition, both of her sons, Alexander and Dustin, ran each of my moves with at least one of them at each end, managing their movers, who are wonderful, and doing much of the work themselves. Both of them are phenomenal and I will never move without them! From the initial contact with the owner on my very first phone call through to placing the last piece of furniture in my new home, and every step in between, Kushner is absolutely excellent and far superior to any other moving company in business. In fact, during the last move I made with them, I came down with food poisoning and wound up very sick and incapacitated on the day my things were to arrive in my new home. Estelle and Dustin personally handled everything I normally would have done! By the time they left my condo late that night, my house was completely set up! In general, they accurately assess my needs and estimate costs upfront. They expertly pack my things with the utmost care, load and transport my belongings without one tiny scratch or damage. Kushner unpacks, cleans and places every item without one issue. They even think of things and provide solutions for issues that I haven't even considered. They also have seamlessly dealt with numerous "surprise" conditions, that would generally cause a major problem for me with any other moving company, without missing a beat. From figuring out how to get a washer/dryer into the truck that was never supposed to be moved to changing destinations for a small number of items at the last minute. And, they have perfectly handled complicated moves for me involving multiple cities, multiple locations within a city, etc., all on very specific time-frames. Kushner takes extremely good care of all of my possessions - including very valuable pieces that I would normally transport myself. I am able to trust them with anything without any worry whatsoever. They are always on-time, on-budget, easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable. And, every time I use them, they do whatever they can to make my move easy! In all of the moves I have made with Kushner, my experience has been completely hassle-free and efficient. I wholeheartedly recommend Kushner!

Used Kushner for two moves in 2014. There packing skills were disappointing. Boxes were not well marked. Their movers are very professional but did not find management to be customer friendly. Everything that went wrong was someone else's fault. While they were not an "F" I would not use them again. Their price was similar to other quotes I received and yet they acted as if they were giving me a wonderful deal for which I should be grateful. Then never responded to my calls about items that were missing or damaged, so I gave up. I have waited until now to cool off before I wrote this review.

They were very reliable and conscientious. They are nice, honest people.

Other than the above the move went fairly smoothly. The men did allot better job than the woman. But it was really the owner that was out of line.
