Hart's Painting

It was nice and easy from start to finish. Great people and company.

The company Hart's Painting, outsourced the pressure cleaning service to another company "Pure Cleaning" (also on Angie's List). Although, Hart's painting is always on time, this other company that was used did not arrive at the time promised. Also, I hoped that the actual pressure cleaning would have been a little more thorough. However, the painting of the garage door and front door (exterior painting) which was permformed by Hart's painting, was excellent. Tom Hart was very punctual, as always. The exterior painting was completed quickly, efficiently, and with quality. Tom Hart and his employee were very professional.

The work was completed in the same amount of time that was provided in the estimate. The company and the employees are very professional. The job was done neatly and accurately. I would highly recommend this company.

All work was performed according to my expectations. I had used Hart Painting in the past and felt comfortable leaving the workmen alone in the apartment (which was empty) to complete the job. Minor niggle: a few stray pieces of trash were left behind on a windowsill, certainly nothing that would prevent me from hiring this company again.

Tom made good recommendations regarding color choices, paint quality. Crew members very nice. When changes were necessary, Tom kept me informed and we adjusted pricing both up and down. House looks great and we're very pleased.

Tom was punctual, spent a good amount of time reviewing the project on the initial visit, and e-mailed a quote within 1 day. His price was very fair, and was able to start working right away. He started work on-time every morning at 8am. His painter on our job was excellent. They were neat, clean, courteous, and most of all professional with their work. The apartment looks awesome, and everything went smoothly without any issues. I would gladly recommend Tom, and will be using him again in the future for certain. The only reason I gave a B on price is because you will probably find someone cheaper, BUT will not come close to the quality of work and value you would get from Tom Hart.

Tom Hart's first visit to us involved a detialed walk-through of our home. He looked at what needed to be done (he noticed some patching that needed to be done prior to painting, and he did it)), and provided us with a very reasonable estimate; that visit he stayed about an hour. His second visit, after we agreed to work with him, he stayed about two hours reviewing and discussing our color choices and the type of paint he wouuld/could use. We wanted to minimize fumes. Although he is not an intenrior diesginer, Tom gave us invaluable input on our color choices. I now have a beautiful accent wall in my livingroom -- his idea. Our home is absoultely goregous. Tom and his crew were punctual, pleasant and always cleaned up after themsleves. They were a pleasure to have in our home. We highly recommend Tom Hart..He is a consumate professinal who really cares about his client.

Tom was quick to respond to our request for an estimate. He came by that evening for a look at the space. He was knowledgeable and reviewed the different paint quality options with us. He also addressed some concerns we had about a few prominent seams in our walls. His estimate was not the lowest, but not the highest either. He also quoted us an expected time to complettion of the job, which turned out to be accurate. He and his team were prompt and friendly and performed a professional paint job. He was gracious at accommodating all of our "picky" requests. We will use him again when we paint the remainder of our home.

Did not have work done only got estimate. Although his estimate was the lowest of 3, I chose to use a company my designer friend suggested.

I didn't want to just get a painter out of the phone book, I went through the newspaper and The Flyer ( same differerence ). I had many estimates and did not feel comfortable. Then my husband suggested Angie's List, which I thought was just a maid service. I picked a couple from them, then decided on Thomas Hart. I observed the experience and dedication, I felt like I hit the lottery, very pleased with the work and expediant performance.

They did a very professional job. They moved and replaced furnishing with absolutely no problems. I have used Tom Hart in the past and will always call him for any future needs. He even helped us with the color choices.

I was very pleased with the service and quality from start to finish. The first time they came out to give me an estimate I had no idea what color to choose, and Tom made some suggestions. After spending much time at the paint store and bringing home countless samples, I ended up choosing the color he recommended and it is beautiful. They showed up right on time and did a great job. Everything was done to perfection. I highly recommend them and would definately use them again!

The work was not done properly at first however all corrections were addressed immediately and work ended up looking good. Would use them again.

They showed up on time and did a nice job of painting around the extensive shelving that was attached to one wall and around the work bench on another wall. They were very professional and courteous. Even though the job required more paint than they originally estimated (our garage had never been painted and the concrete really soaked up the paint), they did not charge us extra for the additional paint. Do yourself a favor and hire these guys for your next painting job!

Tom helped up chose colors that are not only pleasing but enhance the appeal of our home. He and his team showed up either early or right on time each day and were pleasant and communicative when there were issues. They moved and protected the furniture so there were no accidental spills. The work was excellent and Tom went the extra mile to make sure the job was done in just two days.

I'm a fairly new subscriber to Angie's List. I researched painting contractors and was very impressed with the reviews and ratings on Hart's Painting. I called Tom and we set up an appointment for March l9th. He arrived on time and we discussed what I wanted done, which as you can see, encompassed everything I could think of for the exterior of the house. He then proceeded to do a thorough inspection of the house and pointed out some areas that needed repair. He explained the prep-work, which entailed pressure cleaning, minor repairs, masking all windows, covering pavers, patio and protecting shrubs. He also went over the products he uses and the timeline. I was so impressed with him, I hired him on the spot. He was the only contractor I interviewed. We agreed on a start date of April l7th. In the interim, I was to pick out the paint colors. I made four trips to Sherwin Williams, each time bringing home samples and trying them on the house. I narrowed it down to two colors, but I couldn't make a decision and time was running out. Tom came over and within 10 minutes picked out the color for the house and the trim, and I love it! The project started on time. His crew was excellent. They were very professional, neat and courteous. There was no collateral damage (except someone did step on one of my flowers, but it made a full recovery). The job was completed April 22nd, with the exception of the garage floor which was an add-on. Tom returned on th 29th, he cleared out the garage for me and completed that project. The entire job is finished and the house looks better than new. Thank you Tom and thank you Angie.

This contractor is terrific! He was able to move his schedule around and provide the painting service within my time constraints. He also assisted with choosing paint color and type of finish. He and his staff arrived on time, worked professionally, did quality work and finished at the appointed time. I would use this firm again and highly recommend them.

The contractor's price is a little higher than other bids we received. We hired him for the great reviews from this site. Tom is very punctual, responsive, and straight forward. Job is done within the estimated time without surprises. His staff did the job well, and kept the site clean. During the project, Tom noticed our AC was leaking (while we were away). He even called and reminded us to take care of the AC asap. We had a good experience with this project.

From start to finish an excellent job. Professional, honest, fair and estimates right on! All of his workers are courteous and very professional and clean. Not one complaint !

I left a message for Tom for an estimate on a small painting job. He contacted me right away and came over at a convenient time for me without any sign of annoyance. He truly made me feel important as his potential customer. Once he came over, he gave me a fair price for the job. But here's the kicker: I wanted the room done right away and he said he could do it that weekend. However, I was going out of town. So I took a huge risk! I don't know why. It was definitely an instinct move. This is what I did... I left the key under the mat. I left a check for the previously agreed upon price in an envelope on the door to the bedroom . Yup! I knew the guy for 20 minutes and that's what did. I have to tell you, it worked out great. He and a worker came into the house, did the job, took the check and left. When he was done, he called me to let me know that the job was done. He explained that it took more paint and time then he originally thought. There was previous water damage in the room and he had to do a lot of extra prep work to make it look good. I asked if the price was still okay and he said it was fine without hesitation. The work was good and fast. You can definitely trust this guy and I would hire him again in a minute.

Tom is punctual, professional, the best! We would definitely use this company again. I can't thank Angie's list enough for making hiring contractors so pleasant.

Estimate matched final bill. Contractor arrived on time with all tools to start the job. Paint was very well applied. Cleaned up after job. I have rarely been this satisfied with anyone I've hired!

They did a good job. He was very professional. They came when they said they were coming and they left our home tidy when they left. The quality of their work was excellent.

Hart's Painting did an excellent job painting the interior & exterior of my home. Mr. Hart was prompt with his visit to my home when giving the initial quote & prompt in schedulig me into their schedule for the entire project. The entire project took about one week...The inside painting took 2 days & the outside 3-4 days (consecutively worked on by different painters). Mr. Hart supplied enough quality workers (besides himself) to suffiently and perfectly complete my home. Great price, great service, great vendor to recommend to others.
