I had called 3 different air duct repair companies and all of them blew me off because the job was "too complicated." Leo and Aileen at Absolute were the only ones to take on the challenge. Given that my air ducts are inside the walls, Leo and Aileen had to use their imagination to figure out what the issue was and where it was. Without even looking at the design, they were able to identify the problem and were able to provide a solution by repairing certain ducts which were seeping air, and install a contraption to redirect the airflow evenly throughout the house. They're rates were very reasonable and well worth it. I highly recommend using Absolute for duct repairs, and I'm sure they apply the same level of service to their other lines of work. Aileen and Leo were awesome! They explained everything in detail that needed to be done and answered all our questions. Their workers were on time and efficient. They cleaned up afterwards. We now have a much cooler house!

Absolute A/C & Duct Repair did a fantastic job. The owners Aileen & Leo came out to see what needed to be done, sent us an estimate within a couple of days. The workers were on time and did a great job taking out the old AC ducts and insulation and installing new duct work.. They cleaned and sanitized the attic and the following week came back and installed the insulation. The installers and owners were very professional from the beginning to the end of the project. We definitely recommend this company.

I received three estimates, but this company was the only one that spent time in the attic and took pictures so that I could see and understand the problems, which were explained to me in detail. Aileen and Leo are wonderful to work with as they are professional, competent, articulate, and friendly. They always returned my calls if I had questions. Leo, Yury, and Sebastian are excellent workers, who understand that they are in someone's house. They were courteous, clean, and responsive to any concerns I had. I recommend them highly.

We had work done with them over 4 years ago. The duct work was fine, but they never finished our grill work and the boot was way too small in our room. They half-a$$ed it and we called them to come back out several times. My dad even knew the owner and nothing. I recently made contact for them to come out recently and here we go again, no answer and no appointment. I had a few companies come out for some work and they all agree that the work done was terrible. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Move on.

It went great! The company went above and beyond what I expected. The workers were very professional and respectful on time and clean. Aileen and her husband Leo went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy and satisfied with the job. This company is very honest and trustworthy. Having been burned in the past by auto mechanics, repairmen and electricians I must say I was a bit leery at first. But having the job done and seeing how it was done I know that I got more than I paid for with this company. Their prices are fair and they are completely honest no hidden cost or fees. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needed anything done in their attic. Very professional very honest, good people!

Aileen showed up herself put on helmet light and crawled into attic. Diagnosed the problem with moisture coming from vent in ceiling. Crew showed up and was able to get into tight spot in attic and insulate duct and box.

This company is excellent! First off, I was hesitant to hire through Angie's List, but I am so glad I did. During a remodel, the general contractor (another company) was supposed to have R30 blown into the attic. I had to go into the attic and I saw a section above the kitchen that had NO insulation. That's when I turned to Angie's List and contact Absolute AC. I actually called another company first, who never called me back, even though I tried 3 times. Absolute AC answered right away when I called and quickly scheduled a FREE estimate. Our home has poor attic access, but somehow Leo was able to get to all corners of the attic and showed me pictures of the situation: lack of insulation and an old duct system that was leaking all over, including dripping liquid. When we remodeled 4 years ago, the AC company used by the general contractor had said the duct system was great! Not true! I was so impressed by Leo's thoroughness that I did not compare quotes. I needed to know whoever was in our attic would take their time and not damage the ceiling or any of the recessed light fixtures. Additionally, I had been concerned about a possible roof leak due to Hurricane Irma, but Leo took pictures of the area and confirmed the roof was not leaking. Huge plus! The estimate came quickly and we decided to move forward. We scheduled work for a Friday and Saturday. The guys came and did a phenomenal - and clean - job of removing the old duct system and putting in the new one. They installed a scoop so that more airflow would come into our kitchen, where the old system had barely any flow. We immediately felt the difference. Then they came back to do the insulation the next day. While in the attic, something moved one of the light fixtures and I did not notice the issue until some time after they had left. I called Leo and he came back that same evening - on a Saturday - to go back into the attic and fix it! The electrician who installed the fixture had left it barely screwed in, so any movement in the attic caused it to move. Leo fixed it. Finding trustworthy, quality work in Miami has always been a challenge. Hiring Absolute AC was a great decision. The project wasn't cheap, but it was totally worth it. We can feel the difference in airflow throughout our home, and we should see savings in our energy bill. I highly recommend Absolute AC! I cannot say enough about how impressed I am.

Aileen was there as scheduled to estimate the job at an incredible price. It was started and completed in a few hours and was done professionally as she described it would. It was an exceptional experience and if I need any A/C work don in the future, I will definitely call them first. Thank for the great work Aileen.

Called for an appointment , discussed needs, got an appointment no hard sell, did the job in less than an hour. Were very respectful, answered my questions, cleaned up and left.

Eileen was excellent!!! She came right on time on a Saturday morning and was extremely thorough in her assessment of my problem. No problems were found with the ducts or insulation so she put in the extra effort to find potential causes. She found 2 large openings in the AC return which was pulling air down from the attic to be cooled... Long story short, after a thorough investigating Eileen was able to identify 3 possible causes of my problem. And to my delight, they were all things I can fix myself!!! I felt bad that she came for a free consultation/estimate and I can fix all the problems myself so only after I insisted did she accept some compensation for her efforts! I will definitely be calling this company if I need AC work in the future!!!

The job was done well. The only issue which kept me from giving them an excellent rating was that there were scheduling issues. The work was originally planned for Saturday 5/20 but up to that day, I did not know what time they were coming. Evidently they had a job before me and when they came to the house shortly after noon, it was way too hot to work in attic. So we rescheduled for 5/27. However, they called me on Friday 5/26 and thought I was the customer with an A/C leak and were coming out in an hour. I said no, you guys are scheduled to come out on Saturday to blow insulation in attic. Clearly there was confusion.

It went GREAT!! They came out to inspect & give a quote. Great price & they were VERY knowledgeable of what we needed, without trying to sell us products or services that were not needed. We set the day & time, they arrived on time, quickly did the job, cleaned everything up & even showed us pictures from the attic of the work done. Gave us honest and easy to understand assessment. Actually told us it looked mostly good, and did not need any work done, but could add some insulation to improve efficiency. Liked that they didn't push further work. Nice people.

This was a great experience! The quote I got to add R38 blown-in insulation (which is about 14", I think) was among the most competitive I got (and I called around six places, I think). The owner, Aileen, was pleasant, cheerful, and informative. She obviously takes pride in the product she's installing, which is Knauf's JetStream Ultra. I had never heard of Knauf before (I'd only ever heard of Owens-Corning, the maker's of the pink insulation associated with the Pink Panther), but after I researched Knauf, which is a family-owned German company, I felt confident that this was a good product. Knauf's website shows JetStream Ultra product packaging that indicates it's Made in the USA. This product retards fire (I actually tried lighting a piece of their insulation on fire, but it doesn't light, it only shrivels up some). It has a small percentage of fiberglass, but not enough to be itchy if it touches you. My installers were prompt, courteous, friendly, and helpful. They called before they arrived, and they arrived on-time. The spent maybe a couple of hours here, and when finished, I went up to the attic to look at my winter wonderland. Blown-in insulation is like shredded cotton balls, so it can be messy but they did a good job of not blowing it on the stuff I have stored atop sheets of plywood in my attic, above the garage. Between this experience and my other Angie's List recommendation (for a new HVAC system), I'm fully expecting to stay cool and comfortable this summer, and for many summers more.

It well very well. They did an excellent job cleaning up.

They did a good job. They couldn't figure out the issue with why my attic is so hot but they did some extra work they didn't have to.

We had mold in our A/C ducts. Aileen met with me and I went up in the attic with her. She pointed out where our ducts were leaking and where they had previously been repaired. She was very knowledgable and we felt the proposal was fair. The workman were puctual and professional. I had a FPL energy audit shortly after and the inspector said that the ducts were done exactly right and he seldom sees them hung like Aileen and company did. Our house now smells clean and fresh since the mold has been taken care of. Great company to work with!

She came, it was a woman and she went up to the attic and saw the ducts. Then we never heard from her again. She's supposed to write a report and say what was going on and what was needed, if we needed to replace or whatever. We never got any kind of reply after that first visit. It was a good price but I was expecting more from it. She needs to follow through. I will definitely not use them again.
