Absolute A/C & Duct Repairs

Service was incredible. Absolute A/C went above and beyond. They did everything perfectly and came up with a creative solution to an a/c dilemma that our architect did not foresee when drawing up our new kitchen addition. Their bid was included more and was slightly cheaper than the other companies. Not to mention that they were the only company that was punctual, responsive and extraordinarily helpful throughout the entire process. Aileen, the owner, came out to meet us and assist with the estimate. We live in Coral Ridge and she came from Pembroke Pines on the same day we called to give an estimate! Great service!

Aileen and Leo are absolutely amazing folks. I had initially setup an appointment to have our attic insulation removed and had setup an appointment in the near future. However due to a family emergency, I called Aileen to see if she could see us sooner. She moved her schedule around and they were there the next day. Leo spent a solid 30-45 minutes inspecting the attic and ducts. He took pictures to show the areas of concern (torn ducts, holes in AC cabinet, etc). Realizing my schedule situation, Aileen was also able to get me a quote within a few hours and Leo said he would personally handle the job himself. Leo and his crew were there the next day and completed the work over two days so that by the time I returned, everything was completed. I inspected all their work and it was done exactly as they said it would be done. The insulation removal was amazing considering I have an older house with very shallow roofs. The new ducts were routed and hung so they would not have any kinks. Without hesitation, I highly recommend using their services. They are fair priced, friendly and professional and prompt. Because of their services, I had one less thing to worry about.

The owner herself was in contact with us during the entire process and she even showed up for the inspection. They were extremely professional and very knowledgeable and best of all they were HONEST. It's pretty clear that all of their great reviews are for good reason. Aileen and her tech were in and out within 30 minutes and were very helpful. Without even getting a job from the visit, Aileen told me a few ways I could get rebates from FPL etc.. They never tried to upsell me and were quite upfront about NOT needing certain services. I was only looking for an inspection but if I decide to get the work done, I know where I'm going. I would use them in a heartbeat!

The inspection and service were done professionally and courteously.

First, I was very surprised that Aileen personally came to my house. On the day of my appointment Aileen telephoned that she was on her way and promptly appeared on time. Although the attic access is very difficult to manuver, Aileen spent approximately 30 minutes in the attic and reported that the duct work and insulation were fine and that it would not be necessary to imporve on the attic. She was prompt, polite, and honest. Very rare these days. I would definitely recommend this company to all my friends.

Everything went very well. It is a very flexible and friendly company with a high professionals know what and how to do. In general very glad working with the Absolute AC.

The crew arrived on time and set to work very quickly. It took approximately two hours to add the insulation and repair the a/c ducts. They finished worked and cleaned the area around the attic access very thoroughly. They invited me to inspect their work and should me what had been accomplished. Good job at a fair price. It went great. I had black chunks coming out of the AC in certain room when the heat came on. I had the AC company come out and inspect the unit (it was installed new 10/13), and it was deemed working perfectly and was clean. I then had a duct cleaning company come out and clean the ducts. This did dot work either, and I personally now feel those companies are basically a scam. I called Absolute and Aileen, the owner, scheduled my very quick. Her and her installer came out to do an inspection and quote. The inspected the ducts, and said my main trunk was simply coated in soot and dirt and needed replacing. The also said that my supply lines to the rooms, while older, were clean and in good shape. They also said my supply plenum was fine and that it just needed mastic (saving $200). The came out the next week and did the work for $450. They showed me the old duct after it was removed, and it was coated just like they said. They were quick, courteous, and professional. Now, after months of trying to figure out why black chucks of dirt and debris were coming out our vents, it is now fixed. Thanks absolute AC! I would absolutely refer them to friends and family. The prices are fair, and they only recommend what truly needs to be repaired.

Aileen and a technician, Louis, I believe, arrived promptly as scheduled to do the inspection and analysis that we had purchased an Angie's List deal for. They were both very kind, warm people, and were very thorough and professional. The inspection didn't take too long, and I was emailed quotes for two different options to fix the system the next day. We chose to go with the partial replacement option (rather than total replacement), and they scheduled the work to begin the next week. When the day arrived for the work to be done, the technician, Louis, kept me updated on their anticipated arrival time by text, and also sent me a message any time they had to run out for extra supplies. I was kept well-informed through the whole process. In all, the work took about a day and a half, and we were blown away by the quality and professionalism of their work and demeanor. Highly recommend!

That turned out very nice. There was a substantial additional amount that I paid over the Big Deal price. I was happy with their work. There were some unexpected issues, but they resolved them. I was happy with the price.

Aileen and her company were excellent to work with. Not only did she do an outstanding job but also saved me considerable dollars by making me aware of FPL credits to take advantage of. Without doubt, I will reach out to her if I ever have a/c problems in the future. As many others, I am an extremely satisfied customer.

This area was totally inaccessible and they took care of the job for me and had R 30 insulation blown in. I would recommend this company again!

In January I had the pleasure of contracting Aileen Martinez with Absolute A/C Duct Repairs to evaluate the A/C and airflow in my home. After talking to several different contractors from Angie's list, Absolute was the most professional and responded to my job request in a timely manner. The Absolute team proved to be the best. The job started and finished within the same business day. This professional team evaluated promblem areas in the duct work, redesigned the duct work, which greatly improved the air flow throughout the 2nd floor and created additional space. They then provided and installed new flooring which resulted in a great storage area in the attic. The team that Absolute provided was outstanding. Leo, Alex and Yuri arrived on time (9:30 TO 6pm), worked independently with check-ins with Aileen. This team was highly professional, knowledgeable with great attention to detail and good control of the English language. This is one great team resulting in a job well done. It went well. They did a good job. They did recommend some installation which I did. They gave a lot of information and seemed very knowledgeable about the work they do. They were very professional.

Communication with provider was good. Both owners came for the inspection, which I wanted in order to prepare the house for sale. They were very thorough and inspected the duct work as well as the attic in general. They were very up front and didn't try to upsell any services. If I didn't already have an HVAC maintenance service contract, I would have signed up with them; maybe I will when it expires if I still own the house. They are very easy to deal with.

They did message me within 1 business day and stated they would be contacting me the following day to schedule. I did not hear from them until I messaged them. It was a couple times before they were able to get back with me. I was unable to wait to have this service done and so I had to hire someone else to do this service for me. They were very cutious via messaging, I was just rushed to get the service done.

It was ok. They were nice, professional, and I would use them again.

Great. They laid out all our options on what should be done..

Gentleman who handled job was very courteous. I had also wanted a vent moved; however he explained that due to a cement wall, it could not be easily moved.

Very well. They told me, and took pictures that they sent, that tiny black dots of mold had developed on the insulation on AC lines and box in the attic, and this was causing musty smell. They checked and said the AC's were working very well as they are new, so they cool a lot, and the attic is very hot. They recommended changing insulation in all lines and box to get rid of mold and lifting them more from the floor, as well as disinfecting the attic. The reason why I still have not done the recommended work is because (i) it is very expensive (they probably charge market prices, but I have 5 lines) and (ii) I am still not sure if the mold will not come back. They seem very professional and honest, it's just that I don't think we have found the cause for the mold and I am not 100% confident that if I change the insulation and lift it from floor the mold will not return. Still looking for more advise and options.

We needed to replace all of the ductwork in a house we are remodeling. I called several companies for estimates and after being told there would be a charge just to come out and get a price, or getting outrageous estimates, I called Absolute. This company was great! Aileen was very responsive and was able to get us scheduled quickly. She explained what our needs were and gave us a fair price. The team she sent out was very professional and stayed late to get the job done. We were very pleased with the entire experience and would recommend them to anyone. We may need some more work for an addition we are putting on and I will definitely use them again.
