This is written by me, the President, Kelly Hodges ---I feel compelled to write about my company rather than paying an advertiser because do you really need to hear the same thing that everyone says but just reworded? In my opinion, if I were to have to choose a roofing company I would dig deeper and want to know who they are and what they are about. So, as for us, we have been pushed in the direction of being a homeowners advocate over the last few years. The amount of homeowners that we have seen mislead and mistreated is quickly on the rise. So, at no charge to you we will gladly compare contracts, warranties or analyze home inspection reports. There are way too many homeowners being taken advantage of and it's not just new companies, it's also companies that are being passed down and are not maintaining the same values as the previous family members. My husband and I were both taught by our grand-parents and parents that the best way to work is the "old school way" where a handshake means more than a signed contract. To us, INTEGRITY is everything. Our company is not only qualified but certified to do any kind of roofing system and we go above and beyond what the code requires such as our latest investigation regarding ventilation. Can you believe that for over 50 years now they have been using something called a "J-Vent" as ventilation. There are so many things that homeowners should be educated on. Lastly, we are a proud member of the PACE program and we do 97% of our work through (Ygrene, Renew and Alliance)

It started very quickly, and ended quickly, but it stalled a little in the middle due to the inspectation process from the city.

Above The Rest Roofing came in and quoted on the job in a timely manner, they then blew me away by getting on the roof and the job completed on the time quoted.
They whole team when above and beyond in every detail of the job, they took care of every request I made and with their attention to detail there was not one single thing I was not happy with.
Since the completion of this job I have taken on another house and I will be happy to be working with Above The Rest Roofing on this project as well.

The staff was very professional. If they said they would arrive at a particular time, they were there. They explained everything that needed to be done and advised when things had to be adjusted. Kelly and Shawn were very kind and completed all requisition in a timely fashion. They removed and replaced damage wood. Installed new eaves drip metal. They installed shingles I selected as Dimensional, GAF Brand installed to existing code. All inspections were approved and finalized by the city and debris was removed from premises. I watched them work and all questions raised were answered to my satisfaction.
Kelly and Shawn explained the agreement with Y Green Financing and helped to answer all of my questions. Kelly the owner helped with projection estimates of the final cost. She alleviated my financial fears and explained how Y Green works to finance my entire roofing project. It's been close to two months since the completion of my roof and I have never been as sure that my roof can withstand 160 mile winds. I am very proud to have chosen Above The Rest Roofing and do recommend their work.

I is very difficult to find a Company that not only will give you a prefect job but will go out of their way to work around your schedule.
And the best part was that after they completed and left it was like they never been there, the area was spotless.

From the very beginning of my first phone conversation speaking to Kelly she was very friendly, answered all of my questions
and she sent her husband Shawn to come out for an estimate the next day. Shawn is extremely knowledgeable and understood exactly what we were looking for.
My husband and I have been wanting an extension to cover our patio for sometime and we didn't just want a standard aluminum. We wanted something that looked seamless extending from our roof.
Both Kelly and Shawn are outstanding people from their professionalism, to their constant communication and making sure everything was properly taken care of. I had no doubt in my mind that our reroof as well as our extension would be gorgeous.
My husband and I receive constant compliments on our re roof especially, the extension of our patio.
The best part is they are family owned and they make you feel like part of their family as well.
