Description of Work: Horrible costumer service. I purchased a sliding glass door handle from them. I had to call a week after i order it because they forgot to ship it. I then was told that i didn't need to have them come install the handle because it was a simple process with just two screws...not knowing if they dont install the handle, it voids the warranty on the item. Two days after I install the handle, it broke. They refused to make me whole. The handle was $102.45....I went back and forth on the phone trying to get my issue solved....they failed a bunch of times to call me back when told they would do so. I had to do the chasing. I called my credit card company and put a stop payment on the transaction. Never again will i even consider using there service and i recommend any that is planning to do so, DONT DO IT!!!!!

+ -1 moreIt went well. Yussef, the manager/estimator, was thorough and responsive in giving me a quote for their work. He stopped by the condo and inspected the window. One week later, the installer, Randy, performed the work and was also very professional. He brought the correct replacement parts and installed them properly. The window now works!!!
Description of Work: Impact Glass Services two replaced parts, one scissor operator and one latch, for the casement window of my condo bedroom.

+ -1 moreI attempted to contact Impact Glass Svcs. Monday morning, 03/18/13, but just received a recorded message when I called their number, so I hung up and tried again that afternoon. This time a "receptionist" answered and took down all of my pertinent contact info as well as a description of the services I needed (repair/replace hardware for two sliding glass doors). She informed me that a sales rep would need to call me back to schedule an appointment. It is now Wednesday afternoon, a full 48 hours since the receptionist took my contact info, and I have yet to receive a return phone call. Needless to say, if and when I receive such a call, I will not be using this firm. I am now in the process of making alternative arrangements with another firm.
Description of Work: No services were performed because no one from the company ever returned my phone call to schedule such service.

+ 0 moreFist, the handle broke off because of the poor quality of the system sold by Impact Glass. In my mind they should have covered the repair under warranty or at least fixed it at cost. No such luck, I was grossly overcharged for this service. Having no time to shop around, I was charged $430 to replace a handle and casement actuator that costs about $30. It goes without saying that I will avoid them in the future.
Description of Work: The handle that actuates a casement window in my condo broke off. I hired Impact Glass to do the repair following the recommenddation of the building administration since they originally installed all the windows in the building.
