Norman's Blinds

Jason installed plantation shutters through out our new home. In addition he installed electric black out shades in two bedrooms. He even installed a switch on the wall to operate them. Overall it was a great experience. Our product was made in America too which is always a bonus.

Norman's Blinds was recommended to me by a friend who used them in their new home. We had two other estimates and were unhappy with the prices and customer service. Jason came out the day after I called and measured every window in my 4,000 sqft newly built home. He helped us decide what would be the best time of window treatment for each room. We ended up picking plantation shutters for the majority and boy they look fabulous! I went with black out shades for the bedrooms, which is the best thing moms can do if they want their little kiddos to sleep well and great naps during the day. It took approximately 3 weeks from beginning to end. I only had one minor issue and he had it redone with no hassle or charge. I think Jason and his workers were all very polite and worked around our busy schedule. They were also extremely neat; I hate cleaning after workers do things.

I am extremely disappointed with this company. The original order was May 21st and it it is over 3 months and still not done. I have had absolutely no communication from them and have been left with shutters that were ordered in wrong size with many damages on them. They have absolutely left me with incomplete shutters, frames that are falling off, mixed textures on all shutters, gaps up to 1/2 inch on wall with no caulking. Was not given a proper contract with the specs of shutters with individualized shutters not priced separetely. Dropped shutter in kitchen was damaged and not replaced. They have taken my money and have not contacted me in almost a month. I have given them plenty of time to respond to all their actions but have been ignored. I have had 2 other companies in here for their opinion and they have both agreed it was a lousy job and should never have been left in such a condition including measuring doors and agreeing that shutters were ordered 3 inches too short. I have many photos showing all the mistakes and damages on the shutters and frames. All in all this has been a terrible experience!

Jason was amazing! Showed up for the estimate exactly on time. Pricing was extremely reasonable. Scheduled our installation for the following week and it was done as promised. He came with his dad and really did a great job. Family business in a professional setting. THey were terrific!

Jason installed the blinds and verticals 2 weeks after ordering them. Glenn installed the cornices about 5 weeks after placing the order. The cornices are custom made, so they took a little longer. They were both excellent in helping me choose the best type for my windows. I was given many options for style, color, and price. I was not pressured to pick something they just wanted to sell. They truly know their business, and gave me excellent advise. It has been almost a month since they put them up, and I am very happy with everything. There is nothing I would change. Jason and Glenn were great, and the products they sell are good quality. Thanks Jason and Glenn!

Jason is a very nice young man who came to see me on a Saturday. He took the measurements, showed me what he had, and gave me a fair price. He called me approximately a week later and told me the vertical blinds were ready. I was having my living area painted and was getting quotes, and he said he would wait until I finished with the painting. Approximately 2-3 weeks later I called Jason and he told me he would come the next day (also on a Saturday) to install the blinds. He came with a helper and they were both very professional and they were done in no time. I truly appreciated that Jason worked with me and was able to come as soon as I called him. Approximately 2-3 weeks after that my husband noticed that one of the blinds seemed to be opening where it shouldn't be. I called Jason and he said he would come by right away. Although Jason did not come, his dad did come and explained how to remedy the situation. They were both very nice, professional and responsive, and I believe the price was fair. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

They're a reputable company. It was good. They have fair prices and they're reliable. They've done work for us in the past. The quality was good, we went with the Hunter Douglas which is the top of the line, Hunter Douglas is a good product. You call them and they call you back. It took a week to get the blinds because they were custom made for the windows. I wouldn't hesitate to use them, I've used them 13 years ago and 13 years later, I used them again.

Called 3 companies and picked this company. The whole process went smoothly. Since I had a pretty good idea of a specific color and texture, we were able to come up with a estimate cost. Finally went for accurate measurement and specific color and texture. Installation day came. 2 people installed and done within less than an hour. The whole process was painless, Jason was knowledgeable, professional and accomodating. The blinds were installed professionally. I will definitely use this company again for future blinds need.

Came out within a few days of phone request for estimate. Had to get a sample mailed to them and revisit our house. Blinds were ordered and installed as soon as they arrived from manufacturer. Went out of their way to be accommodating and cooperative being it was a small job. Could not have worked any better, will certainly use them again!

He was very helpful and pretty good. I did not go with them but he was a strong contended. I would strongly recommend him. Not only was he helpful in shutters and blinds, but he was also helpful in other services in addition to his businesses. He went above and beyond. He has done other work like tile work, crown molding, and anything special. He is good on blinds as well, but my wife felt that he was a little pushy. He is a local. He was very responsive. He got back to me right away. He was punctual as well. My wife wanted him to walk around and show him the work exactly as to what would be where and he drew it on the paper and explained things. That did not sit well with us. Finally we got a bid for the window. It is a family run business and he knows his job well. I will definitely contact him in the future.
