Everything was off to a good start: The team had great ideas for how to improve our landscaping and showed up when they said they would. That's where the professionalism ended, though. We quickly discovered all those great "ideas" turned out to be just that: lofty concepts with nothing to back them up. While we were pitched on a well-layered design, with shorter plantings in front and more substantial plantings in the back, with lots of bright blooms for pops of color, what we got was a weird reverse-mullet design--with the tallest bushes in front blocking all the smaller plantings. Plus, they brought in what were seemingly the cheapest bushes and shabbiest-looking shrubs at the nursery. Seriously. They looked like they came straight off the clearance lot. And there was, in the end, absolutely no flowering plants for the color we were promised. When we complained, they did come back once to trade out maybe three of the saddest-looking bushes for options that weren't wildly better--this was, coincidentally, just in time for the first round of plantings they did to begin dying a slow death. Currently, approximately 50% of the plants that the team at All Terrain planted are on their last legs: leafless and dry and twiggy, including an expensive Italian Cypress that has uprooted itself at least three times, as it was not planted deeply enough. When the owner finally came out to look at the dying plants, his response was to get offended, puff out his chest and complain that he "didn't have time for this s***," and that we should have fertilized, which might have been a good retort if we hadn't paid HIS company to fertilize for us. Was that ever done? We'll never know. Our last communication was about two months ago, when he promised to come and replace the sad, misshapen state of our front landscaping with some living, breathing plants...long story short, we're still waiting. The company constantly ducks our calls and hasn't made any efforts to resolve this issue other than pointing fingers. Save your hard-earned money for one of All Terrain's competitors. They have no pride in their work, and they don't stand behind it. A frightening combination.

To call Mike Squillace a landscaper is an understatment - he is a visionary! He took our blank slate of a backyard and created a tropical oasis. From our initial conversation with Mike, we knew immediately he understood our vision. We took a tour of his 40 acre nursery where he communicated the pros/ cons of each plant and which ones were ideal for our lawn and objectives. Then he came out twice to survey the land and design a plan that would provide a tropical canopy - functional yet aesthetic. The day of the transformation, he arrived on-site with his team (who are top-notch - hard working, knowledgeable and personable) and worked diligently over the course of 2 days. The end product was nirvana! Our back yard looks like a shagri-la and we were in awe of his work! Mike et team are absolutely the best to work with and we highly recommend him - from vision to execution, he is hands-down the best in the business!

Poor. Job dragged on forever. Promises for scheduled work not kept. Quality of job only fair. Needed to stay on top of them to make sure things would get done correctly. Followup to correct a major problem took forever; then it was done half assed.
