Terminix - Panama City -Termite & Pest Control

Had to call back multiple times throughout the three month period. The product does not last, we were constantly seeing something. There was always an excuse "it's the rain, it's the cold" ( No, we did not have an infestation, but we live by woods.) They specifically advertise that they provide rodent extermination/control. I had a mouse in my room and they gave me a glue trap. When I informed them that I had already tried this, he responded, "Mice are dumb." Obviously, it did not work and I had to catch the mouse by hand in a bucket. I wanted to make sure there were no rats in the garage because my dog kills them and they said there is nothing that they can do about that. (so what exactly am I paying for here?) I had several miscommunications about appointments. They changed them without notice. I asked them to come out and spray one last time before the 3 month term ended and they sprayed the inside and told me they couldn't treat the outside until the rain dried up. They came back to perform the OUTSIDE TREATMENT ONLY, and charged me for a new term of three months saying that it was a whole service performed. I have received countless bills and I called repeatedly and asked for management. It only took them 4 months to respond, only to tell me that I owe them an entire 3 months payment for the one OUTSIDE ONLY treatment they performed. Manager refused to take off the charge. -Heather C (so ya know.)

I asked if the treatment was pet safe and they proclaimed a resounding yes. Well hundreds of dollars in vet bills later PLUS the issue is now horrifically worse than before, this is by far the WORST company you could call!

They treated the ground around the area and around the house. Recently I have had a bug attack my Sago Palms. I have emailed and called with no responses. Makes me think their customer service is great when the salesman first comes, but long term is not there? They would have received all A's if they would have helped with my Sago Palms. I feel abandon with no response.

Horrible! I would not ever contract with this company for insulation again! They charged my credit card on the Friday before they started work on the following Monday. The "KID" they sent out to do the work lied about getting all of the old insulation out of the attic. When he left on Monday afternoon he told me he would be back at 0830 on Tuesday to install the new insulation. I looked in the attic on Tuesday morning and the old insulation had not been removed from about 1/3 of the west end of the original house! I tried to call Terminix and get a message to them that they needed to bring the extraction equip back, I was unsuccessful. He arrived and I told him there was still old insulation in the west end of the house and I wanted it out. He then had to make a 50 mile trip back to the office to get the other equipment. On Wednesday they came to complete the insulation install. When they left for lunch I looked in the new part of the house attic and found they had not removed the old insulation in a major portion ot the attic. When they returned from lunch, I told him they had not removed the insulation from a portion of the attic. His reply was "how do you know that!" I told him I had been into the attic. He then requested that I show him, I DID! One of the workers was super! He did the majority of the work! We have had Terminix pest service for going on 20 yrs and are very happy with our technician. So, for pest control we are pleased! For insulation -- Never again!

Great. I'd give them an A. The price went up this year though.

The service was outstanding, but we had an issue a few weeks ago, where we were having an extension put on, and they threatened to terminate our coverage on the spot. We thought that was a little unreasonable, considering when the extension was done, we were going to adjust our bond. You can't necessarily do a bond, unless the construction is complete. I got a letter from them asking us to get a coverage for $100, which was a little disturbing. We used to have a lot intrusions of ants and coakroaches, and that stopped after some of the bug treatments. The price is good. They tell us when our check ups are due, and they are pretty prompt. I haven't known them to break an appointment yet.

We have a maintenance schedule. The guy that comes and inspects the traps and does the spraying, he's a very personable and friendly. It went very well. We don't see bugs and termites. If he need him he comes out. He's willing to come out and treat it again but we never had to.

We have used Terminix for several years now. After having three nasty bouts with termites we have been very happy with Terminix. The only reason why our review is less than stellar is because when we have had to have major repair work done to the house they haven't been the most timely. Now I will admit that they probably have more than our home to repair in this area (as so many homes have been built on what used to be a swamp) and though every time we have called them they have eventually come out. It may take several phone calls however when they do show every representative has been pleasant, helpful, informative and Terminix has completed the job well and at their expense. I would recommend that one take the leap and buy into a reputable termite protection plan. Though expensive at first, it has more than paid for itself!

I set up an appointment for an inspection in order to sell a house. I took off work to be here for the inspection. The inspector never showed. After the appointment was missed, I called customer service and asked what happened. The lady knew what house it was and said she would check why it was missed. We then got disconnected from the phone. I called back and a second lady answered and told me I never had an appointment scheduled. However, she did know the closing date of my house. I asked to speak to a manager and was told "he would get back to me. We left him a voicemail." I strongly recommend a different company for pest control inspections and services.

According to Terminix eMails and phone calls I had service scheduled for the A.M. of Friday, 21 September. Technician did not show. I called the Niceville office and was told my appointment was canceled and rescheduled for Tuesday the 25th. No explanation given! I told the Niceville office not to come on the 25th and that I would get back to them to reschedule. On the 26th I got eMails telling me the service wascompleted on the 25th [while I was out of town]. I visited the Niceville office on 1 October asking why they offer a 30 year client this level of customer service? I realized they had ?other? things to do and I was in no hurry for answers. I left them two copies of my written questions and told them I'd be back at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, 8 October for a quick sit-down! On the 8th it was apparent that no one had worked my issues. After a ten minute wait I was introduced to the Branch Manager who was not familiar with my issues. We discussed general rather than specific customer service topics. No answers! Actual service from technicians is excellent----bug problems are almost nonexistent!

I ask them to come to the house they did a inspection everything was fine then wanted me to do a new contract and pay them alot of money again. I almost did them I was thinking they lied to me so I cancalled the contract. I was talking to other people in the area and they are also having problems with claims they have made with them. I will use another company. I wrote a letter to the main office and had no return response. They got my money for a renewal and lied to me about it! So sad I thought they were a good company.

We had an infestation and they came out and fixed everything. They are fine. We phoned them once and they came right away to provide service.

I would highly recommend them! They are prompt, did exactly what they said they were going to do and they didn't keep recommending things to buy. They also cleaned up after themselves which is a big deal for me! They also guarantee their work!

Terminix has great customer service. As stated before, we had a spider problem and they told us when we first purchased our plan that it could take a while to get rid of them. They came and did our first spray in Feb and said they would be back for the next spray in June. Terminix told us to call them if we saw any bugs before the next visit and they would come and spray again. Between Feb and June I had to call them about 4 times to come and spray again. Everytime I call they are: helpful, polite, quick to respond and on time. We get the same service person on every visit, so that is nice, because we dont have to explain the situation everytime we come in contact with Terminix. The manager has even called to see how we are liking the service.

By using this service on a quarterly basis, our insect control has been very successful which is great considering we live in Florida.

The price includes termite protection. After the treat the house if any termites show up they will treat again for free. They are excellent.

They are prompt. They do a good job. I have no complaints with them. They come in on a regular schedule basis. They are polite. We have had them for fifteen years now. We used to pay $68, which now went up to $73 per visit.

.They come out and do the termite inspection every year. They do a really good job. They have a guarantee nad they back it up. They come when we call and we will contiue to use them.

Anytime I call them after seeing spiders, roaches or other bugs they come out either that day or the next day; I have had very good service with them. They always give us a call on the day they are coming and they are always on time. I will use them again in the future.

They send us emails and they rarely have to come inside.

They have nothing outstanding. I would use them in the future.

I have an ongoing contract with them. I am satisfied with them. I would continue to use them in the future.

I like that they keep your appointments. I think the price is good and I will continue to use them.

They are good at what they do. We haven't really used them for many services.

There were two gentlemen out here. One of them was doing the regular pest control and the other one was doing the termite work. They were very nice and very informative. I was very pleased with their service. They re-negotiated with me because I did not call them back. So, I got a very good price. I got a quote from another service provider whose pricing was higher than what they offered me. Also, Terminix International is a nationally known brand and so, I felt more comfortable with them. I enquired with both the services probably about a month ago and I then had a second conversation with them. I would absolutely use them again in the future.
