Can't say enough good things about Ridge Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc.! The service call was a little more expensive than the other companies but it was well worth it! Alex was awesome and took his time and did an amazing job. This was after a couple of other companies I called told me to get a new unit and my system was unfixable.

They were good. The price is average. They do a good job. They are here when they say they are coming. I will use them again.

The American Standard A/C is by far the most comfortable unit we've ever owned. Ridge was on time, professional and fair. Extremely satisfied!

FINE, CAME BACK NEXT WORK DAY TO FINISH UP.

Ridge installed a new air conditioner just over a year ago. They showed up 6 days early and as they were already there, they refused to come back on the appropriate day. The, unrelated to the a/c, mold mediation group was already at the house when they arrived, but they insisted. Fine. They complained about the working conditions and the small area they had to work in every time they spoke to us. They got the unit installed roughly the same time the house was ready for quarantine, but were not allowed, by the mold mediation group, to turn the a/c on to fill the freon tank. More complaining about having to come back out once the house was safe again. They didn't clean up behind themselves very well, nor did they reinstall the door and frame that they took down for access. Fast forward to Friday. I noticed that there was water all over the floor next to the unit. (The unit is in a bedroom closet and we had other things in the closet that soaked up the water for a time.) Upon a closer inspection, the water was coming from a pipe leading out of the unit. Called Ridge and they came back out. Turns out that the cutoff valve had been improperly installed and therefore the unit didn't turn off like it should have - allowing water to drip for quite some time. The employee moved the valve to where it should have been in the first place, but forgot to glue the PVC pipes together. Saw that joint leaking while he was working and commented on it, so he ran to his truck for the glue and fixed it. Now, as I had been told that the leak was due to a mistake THEY made, I sure wasn't expecting a bill. But since it had been over a year, we had to pay for labor. We had also been told by the installing group that they were putting a cutoff pad under the unit so that the unit would also turn off if any water hit it. The repairman said it hadn't been installed. In the future, we will be calling ANY other company to service the unit.

There was a bit of a wait to have the part replaced because it had to be ordered. Once it came in the technician replaced it quickly. Due to a great warenty there was no charge to us. The unit is 8 years old and has had a few adjustments along the way and Ridge Heating and Air had been very kind and prefessional each time.

We usually have them come out in the spring to check the unit. They were very good and we'd used them forever. We don't have to worry about any clean up after them. They were excellent and I have nothing to compare the price to.

They are reliable. They used to be fairly competitive with their price; but everyone has gone to book rates now, so there is no real competition anymore other than in and out labor rate they use. Plumbing and air conditioning rates are standard, unless we go with a small family run business. Their employees are fairly knowledgeable. They were quick to get here. I am planning to replace the unit in the future, so to use them again may depend on their response.

They did a good job. They recently charged me as per the book rate and that displeased me. They charged me $300 per hour for labor and that was insane. They always used to reduce some amount of money for me because I was using them for years. Other than their cost everything else is fine. They are very professional, very personable and do a good job. I would rate them high overall. Their quality of work is excellent. Their punctuality varies from time to time because sometimes they were hours late but would finish the job on time and sometimes it takes longer time than they predict. I probably might be using them again in the future.
