Great! Tim did great work, he came by to ***** the work and gave us a very fair-priced estimate, he even offered helpful tips on other projects we discussed that weren't related to the work we hired him to do. He was very punctual both times he was in the home and very respectful of our request to wear a mask. He was quick to call when a spot opened up, and I really appreciated him thinking of us and fitting us in on short notice. Will definitely hire him again and would recommend him to anyone needing any type of work done.

I called 3 times. Left a message and no response. The voice mail only said his name, not the business so I double checked to make sure it wasn't someone's house number but it is the right number listed on angie's list.

Need house painted, storage room built and some other odd jobs. Never responded to my phone call.

Never returned numerous phone calls, also we left messages. We found someone else on Angie's list who returned call same day and came over 2 days later to examine the work needed done.

They just do outstanding work, he keeps the customer and someone on everything he's doing and he makes suggestions on how to do things which will better benefit the customer. Anything they did, they cleaned up really well after themselves, everything they did was basically outstanding work, I would definitely use them again in the future they were very good. Everything they did was just great and they very considerate too.

He did an excellent job. He cleaned up after himself and he showed up when he said he would. He was polite, knowledgeable and honest. His price was average, wish it could have been a little less but the end product looked great so I guess I shouldn't complain. I will be hiring him again to do some other projects around the house as well.

Tim is very professional polite and punctual. He came to my house and gave an estimate and then I scheduled him to perform the work about 3 weeks later. He arrived early each day and worked at least 8 hours a day. This deck was old and had been added onto over the years by various owners. Tim did a great job correcting the old mistakes. He takes alot of pride in his work and does what he says he is going to do. He is not the most expensive but not the cheapest either. He is now back at my home on another project. I would highly recommend him.

Mr Porter came to my house within 2 days after I contacted him and provided an estimate to do the work. Because he had several other jobs already scheduled we agreed on a date two weeks away for him to do the work. I contacted Mr Porter the beginning of the week we had scheduled the work, and established a time and day for him to do the work. Mr Porter arrived to do the job at the time and on the day we had agreed to. Mr Porter had all of the tools, equipment, and supplies required to completed the job as agreed. After completion of the work Mr Porter made sure all scrap was removed and the area was as clean as when he arrived. I would call Mr Porter again without hesitation when I required the services of a handyman..

Tim Porter the "Reliable Handyman" was recommended by a friend who had used him for some repair work. I called him and we met so that I could show him what we had in mind and to get an estimate. He quoted a reasonable price and we engaged him to do the work. He showed up every day on time with his assistant and they did all that they said they would do despite the incredibly hot weather. We were impressed with the level of his knowledge and the standard of his workmanship. We would use him again and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

I left a message for Timothy and he responded within a matter of hours. He and I met the very next day and agreed upon what needed to be done and the cost for all repairs. We experienced one or two rainy days, but Timothy and his crew arrived bright and early, on our first clear day, and began the task of tearing off the old roof. Timothy found more rotten wood damage, than we first realized, but he was able to make the repairs, to the wall and roof, and replace the roof within the cost of our original estimate. My wife and I are very pleased with Timothy's quality of work, work ethic, timing, and attention to detail. I can easily recommend Timothy Porter, doing business as Reliable Handyman, to anyone in need of handyman services in and around their home.

It went good. He did it in just a few hours and it worked well. Previously, he replaced some stucco in our house. He made 3 trips and only charged us $400. He does a very good job.

He did a great job. We will know if the repair was successful after the next rain. I have also hired him to repair and paint the front door and the porch rail. Hopefully this work will be performed within the next two weeks.

I own an older home (built in 1950), which still had the original door to the outside. I not only needed a new door hung, but some repair work/replacement of the threshold. I called Timothy Porter and he arrived 5 minutes before the scheduled time to give me an estimate. He seemed very knowledgeable about many handyman-type tasks--everything from building decks to replacing kitchen cabinets. He examined the door and threshold that I needed replaced and explained everything that he would need to do. He even gave me advice about what to look for when I purchased my new door. His estimate seemed fair and resonable. I scheduled a time with Mr. Porter to do the work, and again, he showed up 5 minutes before schedule, which I really like. I hate having to sit around and wait for someone when I've made an appointment. He began work immediately. What I really like about him is that he takes his time, doesn't seem rushed, and really seems to enjoy his work. He has a very calm, easy going manner and is confident about what he is doing. The entire process, which included pulling out the old framework and removing the original threshold, took about 4 hours. He made sure the door was hung level, caulked all of the areas needing to be caulked, and he cleaned up after himself. My new door looks great! I am very, very satisfied and will use Mr. Porter for other repairs/renovations. I highly recommend him!

Great at first, waited until October for his services. He came by on October 3rd, I requested some minor additonal work to be performed and he was about to start one of the jobs with pressure washing the house but had to go get gas. He returned and then he gave me a list of additional products needed to support the rest of the jobs. I said I would pick those up and he said he was going to start pressure washing the house. 10 minutes later he decided he would rather start on Monday October 6th. He said he would email me over the weekend an estimate of the additonal amount for the minor add ons. He failed to do that and he failed to return on Monday October 6th. I called several times and he never returned any of my calls nor my email. I tried everyday until I gave up! Mind you, I hired him because the other handy man did not finish some jobs that I needed done and also I am trying to get my home ready for sale. This was not the time for this man to leave me hanging. I am truly disappointed after he told me he was reliable. I have all the products to do the jobs but most all I have NO RELIABLE HANDY MAN to finish the job!

Fantastic job. Tim and his helper Mark built a 20x20 foot deck with two custom benches over a three day period. The deck is exactly how we had planned it with Tim's input. Very solid deck, perfectly level and it looks great. We could not be happier with the job.

Tim Porter is excellent at what he does and is a complete professional. My wife & I asked him to complete a list of repair jobs such as, repairing/replacing electrical outlets/switches, repair some popcorn ceiling, caulking & painting (inside & out) a large bedroom window, replacing an outside faucet, replacing the kitchen sink spray hose, caulking and sealing areas on the roof of our Florida Room and painting a large portion of the eve, and replacing two outside motion lights. Tim showed up early and spent the entire day attending to our list of repairs and even a few add on's as the day progressed. He completed every task and explained a lot of what he was doing or going to do along the way. He is very personable, easy to talk to and takes the extra time to ensure he took care of everything to our satisfaction. I have already added Tim to our address book and will definitely utilize his services in the future. I highly recommend Tim for all your handyman needs.

The fence looks incredible...better than it did when it was first built (it was done right this time). Tim and one helper did all of the work over 4 days. Tim was punctual, detail oriented and easy to talk to...he actually suggested ways to keep the price down instead of trying to run up the price of the project. We have more projects lined up with him and will probably ask him about doing some more.

The new boards the company installed were much thinner than the previous boards. I didn't think they looked right so asked more. He stated this was specialty wood from Lowe's. I went to Lowe's to get information on the boards and they told me they were the cheapest boards they had. I contacted the provider again and asked if he could take them off and replace them with the correct type of board;16 foot boards. Lowe's did not have the correct board so he used 14 foot boards and used extra to piece together the boards to fill the missing space. The boards are not uniform at all and there are many gaps and spaces in between the board. There has been some warping of the boards and the boards also buckle when walking on them. The contract was for him to just replace the deck on top, however some of the boards underneath were rotten. I would have expected for him to tell me this ethically, however he did not. He tapped over the rotten boards with silver tape instead. He also cut through a power line when working on the drainage to dig a ditch and tried fixing it with black tape. Overall, the job was not done well, and I have had many knowledgeable people in the field agree with me after seeing the work. When I complained about the job, he was very arrogant and not very happy with us.

I can't overstate how good Mr. Porter is and would recommend him any day! He quickly responded to my original request and within one day had gone to the house to look at the work I was requesting. He gave an estimate which he stuck to (plus the cost of added supplies of course). He arrived at the time he said he would and did the work as he said he would. I could tell immediately he has great attention to detail and does his work as if he were working on his own house. After he was done I took him around the house to look at some potential other projects. He was very honest about what could be done and again gave me another good estimate. He told me what could be changed or fixed and what wouldn't do any good to change. Meaning, he wasn't willing to just do work to get paid. If it wouldn't make a difference he was honest. I will certainly be calling him to do more work for me.
