They were always on time, very professional, made sure we knew all of the controls, etc. I continue to use Peaden for bi-annual checks and services. I would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Firstly, I have used Peaden in the past and have been quite satisfied. However, the Company is not quite the same since Mr. Peaden sold it and they expanded their services. I have used this Company for a new heating system, had a contract for service for a couple of years, had plumbing done and ac problems addressed in the past. In some instances, they were great - in others, not so much. My AC unit is 14 years old and a portion of it is in my attic (which they are aware and always sent maintenance checks early in the morning) and it gets quite hot up there. However, since they installed my heating system I have had an air conditioning problem with the drain there not working properly. Last summer I dealt with a tech named Jonathan who was less pleased about checking out the entire problem and left me with the words there was nothing to be done except to buy a new unit. I called someone else and the unit worked fine through the summer. This summer when it wasn't cooling so well, I again called Peaden remembering their past good history. Unfortunately, the tech who came this call was again Jonathan. He again advised me there was nothing that could be done except to get a new unit and he actually did less than 10 minutes checking. I asked him about the drain in the attic (which had always been the problem before) and he grudgingly went into the attic door and looked around, came down and told me it was fine. Gave me my service bill for $89.00, after sitting in his truck for over 15 minutes, took his attitude and left. As he only walked around the outside unit and looked in the attic for a minute, I asked him if the service bill could be waived. He explained as the system was working fine to it's capacity there was nothing to be done. Said to call back if the problem we called back with (not cooling) happened again but told us there would be another service charge when nothing could be found but to recommend a new unit. I called Peaden and I believe the Service Manager returned my call and said someone else would be back the next day. I was trying to get out that day as I had guests who wanted to go to the beach. The next day another tech came, replaced a part and the air has been cooling since. He credited the amount of the service charge against the cost of the part and I paid another $126.00. He also advised me to 'start saving my money as it would probably only get me through the summer, if that'. Again, though I've used Peaden in the past and been quite pleased and also recommended them to several people (2 of whom use them exclusively now), I feel it's time for me to go elsewhere. I feel like I'm parting with a friend.

Description of Work: We called Peaden to work on our condo unit on a Tuesday, they came late the same day, ordered the part, had it overnighted & installed by Thursday. We had a follow up issue that following weekend, on a Sunday mind you, and that service tech was on sight within 1/2 hour & fixed that problem, too. All staff members were VERY kind, courteous & professional. I was very pleased & would highly recommend them. Thanks Peaden!

Description of Work: Signed a year contract for service maintenance which included 2 visits. First visit I signed the contract, and they were about to take off when I asked them to change the oil at least. They changed the oil and left in a hurry. After several calls to Peaden, I kept getting the run around that the service technichician would get back to me to schedule my next visit. He never did. And I could not get anybody to come out for a second visit. good luck with these guys. The contract has expired and I will never use them again. And encourage anyone else ...beware.
