Description of Work: Brad referred me to a sub-contractor. He offered to sub the job for me, but indicated that it would cost more to do so. I am VERY appreciative of an individual who is so forthright. He will definitely be my "go to" guy for any construction needs. It's refreshing to deal with a straight shooter in this day and age.

Description of Work: I am planning a home remodel to update a rental property that I will be moving into. While the house is in good shape, it has not been updated since it was built in 1975. I wrote to the top 4 contractors on Angie's list. This company did not respond. No negative reflection on them at all. I laid out what I wanted & how I would pay & perhaps some part of it was not acceptable to them. Two others did respond & I am meeting with them early Jan 2012

+ 1 moreMr. Nowell stopped over to our house to give us an estimate for a bathroom remodel. He was very professional and seemed to have some good ideas. I was excited to hear about his ideas and obtain the estimate. He never followed up with an estimate, a phone call or an email. This was disappointing. I hired a different contractor for the project.

+ 8 moreMr. Nowell provided me with a written estimate of all work/materials to be performed. Workmanship and materials were outstanding. Easy to work with and flexible. The initial estimate was the final amount owed. I highly recommend his services.
Description of Work: 1). Removed and replaced (matched) one kitchen cabinet and two doors that matched perfectly. Installation was exact. 2). Removed excess grout in hall/bathroom/kitchen tile floor; cleaned and sealed. 3). Squared-up custom glass shower; replaced towel rack in glass door; sealed all glass. 4). Repaired imperfection in bathroom door: sanded and painted.

+ 4 moreWe had a lot of unexpected work, and he was superb! He is very detailed, and even the surprises he went over in depth. His pricing was very fair. A+! He is a very honest man! All of his workers were gentleman. I have used him again and my husband has referred him out.
Description of Work: He built a garage, replaced doors and windows, redid the front of the house due to extensive termite damage, installed hardwood floors in the entire house.
