+ -1 moreWe have a rental house on Laguna Beach and live about 5-hour drive away. There was a hard freeze this year and we had several pipes burst. The neighbor turned the water off and told me to get a plumber. I called (never have used them before). They were very friendly to talk to, although they were swamped with lots of busted pipes! They fixed all the burst pipes within a couple of days and turned the water back on. They texted me a bill and are very reasonably priced. I will definitely be using them again.
Description of Work: 15 leaks from a hard freeze under house and replaced with pex pipe and fittings

+ -1 moreOwner, Jimmy Lumley, responded within hours and personally outlined the job, its possible pitfalls, and quoted a turnkey price, including disposal of items removed. Journeyman plumbers arrived, took every precaution to avoid damaging counter top, and were successful. Arrived on time, worked efficiently, cleaned up after themselves. Professional, personable and courteous. Would hire them again for sure.

Description of Work: I have used Jimmy Lumley services twice now and both times they were courteous and professional. 1st time they installed a sink and garbage disposal. 2nd time was to clean a drain out. Overall a great experience. Gary was professional and courteous and explained what he was doing. It is always a comfortable feeling when you have a contractor you can trust and depend on. Thanks will be back when needed.

+ -1 moreAfter finding Jimmy on Angie's list and reading reviews my husband and I chose him no problem. He did just as the other reviews had said! He came the same day we called and gave an estimate to put in a new sewer and lines within 24 hours. We needed a certain window of time to have this done and Jimmy said no problem. He came with a crew and did excellent work and was very professional. He even bought my husband lunch! I have never heard of that, it's usually the other way around. If you are just not sure who to use for your plumbing job, hands down, Jimmy is your guy! He quoted $1800 but not to go over $2600 and charged $1800. My husband is a licensed plumber in another state and said it was a very fair and reasonable price.
Description of Work: Jimmy installed a new sewer and sewer lines at our home. Big job with lots of digging and precise digging. He made sure our palm trees would not be harmed and was very professional. He did an excellent job.

Description of Work: I had started a bathroom renovation and got in over my head. I called a friend of a friend who recommended Jimmy Lumley. He said that Jimmy would provide a fair price for fair labor. I called Jimmy and he had an assistant out within the hour. Jimmy stopped by shortly thereafter and we discussed the issues at hand. By the time it was all said and done, they had removed a tub that was lodged in, cut into the foundation in order to replace and repair a section of sewer line that had a tree root growing through, and then repaired the foundation. His assistant was punctual, informative, and courteous. This was a situation where I felt I could have been taken advantage of. He even advised me how I could save money!! The work was accomplished professionally, and I found Jimmy to be a man of integrity. I wouldn't hesitate to call Jimmy for any future plumbing needs.
