I arrived to buy 4 Silver Eagle Coins for my children and asked the young lady, who has worked well with me in the past, the price of silver today. She said it was $4 over spot, $26.07, which I already knew since I had checked the web page. I then asked when she thought they would return to their previous premium price of $3.00 over spot for silver. She indicated that when the price of silver went back up, they would return to their usual premium price. (Even though 4 weeks ago, silver was at $25 per ounce and they wanted $7 over spot price ($32 per ounce). I simply said that didn't make sense. She said she didn't want to argue and would get someone else to help me. Her male co-worker arrived and abruptly said, "What can I help you with"? I said I wanted two 2 silver eagle coins (because I didn't like how I was being treated), at which point he said that will be to be $54.14. That equated to $27.07 per ounce, which was $1 higher per ounce than I had just been quoted and that is posted as the price on their own website. He said he could only go by the web page and that I had been rude to the saleswoman, which I was not. So, he was going to punish me by raising their price. Only in the Panama City area do businesses get away with treating their loyal customers like this.

I do not think they have a good pay out. They basically will not give you a good rate for anything that has valuable stones but only pay you for the gold. They will turn around and sell the jewelry for an expensive price to get their money.
