Description of Work: Installed a tankless Waterheater. They did a great job installing the plumbing part of it but failed to inform me that I also needed to hire my own electrician to complete the electrical connection. For the money I paid, they should have brought an electrician with them. As a result my Waterheater did not comply with building codes for the first week I had it and I had to spend an additional $200 for the electrician.

Description of Work: Installed gas line for gas stove, water line for ice maker I for refrigerator in garage & intalled a tankless hot water heater. Returned to intall the gas stove, dishwasher and faucet for kitchen sink after new cabinets were installed!

+ -1 moreCoastal plumbing gave me an estimate of 2240.00 for plumbing work. I never thought I would end up paying 4000.00. He ran plumbing from street to my building. Inspection with county FAILED twice. Then I get hit with 4000.00 bill. Don't believe estimate from this company.
Description of Work: Gave me an estimate for new plumbing service. When job was completed, it was double original estimate. WHAT???

Description of Work: They did a good job, and cleaned up afterwards. They were about an hour late, but called to tell me. They did a good job and even went to the store to get extra parts needed to install a floor model hot water heater that was missing an igniter. Their quoted price was very reasonable - I believe it was $75.00 an hour (even when two people came out to install the hot water heater), when other plumbers in this area wanted a fixed rate (around $500). My only problem was they initially billed me about twice as much as I expected based on the time. However, when I called them, they immediately corrected the bill. I am guessing the billing office personnel had initially charged for 2 people, or had charged for the time the 2nd guy spent shopping for parts (which the guy on site said I would not be charged for, since he was still working to install the hot water heater while the other guy was shopping).

+ -1 moreI called to set up to have someone replace my water heater. The person in the office was very nice and professional. She set up the time and date that matched my schedule and the serviceman showed up on time, actually 10 mins early. The plumber was nice and professional as well, he drained out my water heater, removed the old heater and installed the new heater. He explained the manufacturer's warranty to me and told me about things to look out for, so I could extend the life of my new heater. For example if my tempature drops again to check the thermostat and if its still set correctly then have a plumber install new elements. Its less expensive then replacing a heater. He packed up his tools and left me a card for future plumbing problems. Overall it was a great experience.
Description of Work: I had my water heater replaced.
