Carpet One Floor & Home

I called and asked if someone could do a small job. I wanted one room of carpet re-stretched and a seam repaired. Thre room was empty for a paint job. The girl that answered the phone said someone would call me right back. Nobody called. I probably made a mistake using the word "small".

stopped in to look at product, got estimate. came to look at room the very next day, paid 1/2 price that day. they came the next day to put flooring in. start to finish about 3-4 hours. great job all around.

I was buying a home I had never seen and was in a different state trying to figure out what to do with the old carpeting in the home. One option was to wait, but then I would have all of my furniture there and my kiddos and I would have to leave during the process. However, the local Lowes there in VA didn't carry the same colors as the PCB Lowes, so I was lost. Then I checked Angie's List and called Carpet One. Turns out, they are a franchise, and there was a Carpet One less than 5 minutes from my home in VA. I worked over the phone with a woman named Crystal in PCB. She was extremely professional, very easy to talk to, and gave her honest opinion on the space I was purchasing carpet for after she went to measure it. We decided on a carpet at the VA store, and she ordered it in FL. She worked with the painter to make sure he would be done, and the day after he finished, she had them install the carpeting. When I arrived from VA the next day, it was beautiful! It has been a seamless (no pun intended!) process from day one. From getting financing for the project, to picking out colors. She was helpful in working with a price while factoring in a 15% military discount and always returned my calls in a timely manner. I appreciate this company and will recommend them and will use them again! By the way, their pricing was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than Lowes (a store I LOVE) and the quality of carpet was better too!

From the first call by us to them, their response was very business like. The workmen were friendly and polite. They wasted no time in getting started. We removed the furniture ourselves so that no extra charge would be added. Therefore all they had to do was stretch the carpet. It now looks like it is brand new.

We had issues when they laid the carpet down. There were some circles or spots that kept showing up. There were swirls in the carpet and we asked them about it. They came out and looked at it. The guy tried to brush the swirls out. I said okay and asked them to go ahead and do it. We waited for about 20 minutes and they came right back. So, they came back and reinstalled the carpet. It was in the hallway and it happened again. Then the owner came out and he told us that he couldn’t help us. He basically told us that we were nasty people. He said that there is nothing he can do if we can’t take care of the carpets. So, I told him to get out of my house. It took forever to get them to come out. When we initially got the carpet put in, we had gutted the whole inside of the house. I did most of the work myself. When it was ready for carpeting, I told them to come put the carpet on. We were living in another house; so there was nothing in this house. One of the guys used the toilet in the back and he flushed a piece of t-shirt down my toilet. That’s why I got involved with a plumbing company. The plumbing company ran a snake through the line and pulled a piece of t-shirt because of which the toilet had clogged. I know it was them. My wife had come in and she used the toilet, but it flooded the whole room. We had just had the carpet put down. I argued with the guy and he wasn’t going to replace the carpet. They cleaned it themselves and they dried it. I don’t remember the price for their services, but it was a lot of money. It wasn’t cheap and their service was terrible. I will never ever use them again even if they are the last carpet people on earth.

I was very pleased with their work and their price. They were very professional and very nice. I didn't have any problems and they took care of what they needed to. It was a decent price for what I got and they weren't any higher than anyone else. I had that carpet flooded and they are going to put down another piece because my toilet flooded.

I needed carpet and needed it installed in 2 days. They had great products and were able to meet my short time frame. Great Experience.
