They where amazing!!!! David came and gave me the verbal estimate then the very next day I received the written quote from Karen. All I had to do was initial and sign and send it back to them. Both Karen and Linda in the office where EXTREMELY helpful!!! I called them a million times with questions that my insurance company wanted to know. The crew came and started the job, George was amazing as well!! He knew I had to take pictures because of the insurance so he would let me know when he was finished with one aspect of the roof so I could take the pictures. We had a minor set back because of my chimney, the stone had not been installed properly, it began to just fall off. I began to freak out because I thought it was going to be a big deal, they very quickly eased my mind!!! Instead of having to deal with stone that didn't match with my house they gave me the option of hardy board, so we went with that. Although there was a change in plan that same day they got the materials, like we had planned for this the whole time!! I was still kind of nervous about how it was going to look, but oh was I wrong!! Once finished, only 2 days after, it looks amazing!!! Can not begin to explain how happy I am, not only with the work done but also the absolutely amazing customer service!!! I would never use anyone else!!!

WORKERS WERE EFFICIENT AND PLEASANT. DIDN'T EVEN STEP ON GARDEN PLANTS. ADMIN PLEASANT TO WORK WITH AND CONSIDERATE OF URGENCY. THIS COMPANY EVEN INSTALLED AN AREA NOT IN CONTRACT AND NOT BILLED. I WOULD CALL THEM FIRST FOR ANY CONSTRUCTION/REMODEL SERVICE I MAY NEED IN FUTURE.

The roofing crew came in on time, went right to work. Roof was done in approx. 6 hours. They then cleaned up the yard so there were no old shingles or trash left on my lawn. They were very fast, efficient and polite and I am extremely please with their work The roof looks great. If you need a new roof this is the company to call. A very pleased home owner.

My old roof was very leaky they replaced appx. 25% of the wood which was rotten and several feet of subfacia. They installed my new metal roof and 9 exhaust vents. The crew arrived both days on time and stayed until the whole roof was covered in case it rained the first night. They would have finished in one day but the rotten wood was hard to remove and it took more time to replace than anticipated. At no time did any of the crew yell loudly or use bad language. When I asked questions each young man called me ma'am. When they saw I was letting my dog out for a potty break they stopped and swept off my deck so we wouldn't step on any debris. Once the job was completed they swept again and picked up every bit of roofing material from all around my house. The dumpster was gone when they left and a nice sign was placed at the edge of my yard displaying the company name. Once completed the Contractor submitted paperwork to my Insurance company showing I had purchased a new roof so they could update my homeowners policy and (hopefully apply a discount). He also provided paperwork for me to apply for an Energy Star rebate from my Electric company. I don't know too many companies that would go that far to save a customer money.

It took several times of scheduling to actually get them to show up. The first time they needed to reschedule they called at 5 the night before they were suppose to show up to reschedule supposedly because of rain. It had only rained one day the week before and they pushed the date by a week. Trying to get in touch with the individual that did the scheduling (T.J.) was not a pleasant experience. When we did get in touch with him he would say he would call back the next day and never call. He did this several times. They finally set a date and they dropped off part of the roof in our front yard a week before they were due to install it. When the crew finally showed up to do the work the first day they were pretty efficient but the second and third day not so much. They left their drink cups and other trash in our yard. On the last day they were scheduled to be at our house the machine that they use to install the gutters got a flat tire so they couldn't finish and would need to come back on Monday. When they came back they never used any machine to install the gutters. Then they left the leftover parts and pieces in our yard for another week. The crew was a sub-contracted crew and not employed by Arts. When someone from Arts came out to do the final inspection and collect their final payment the guy put the check on a clipboard and then evidently put the clipboard in the bed of his truck and lost our check. All in all not impressed with this company. This was our first experience with a contractor so maybe we are being unrealistic but if this is what working with a contractor is like I don't want to deal with anymore.

It went great. They were very responsive. Did what they said they would do and answered all my questions.

I called to have someone come out to give me estimates on both houses and was given an appointment date at this contact whereas one other company said they would call me to set up an appointment at a later date. The owner of Art Construction of NW FL, LLC, Mr. David Bowers showed up promptly as scheduled for the estimate and my husband who is a disabled veteran did not even come outside to assist in my conversation with Mr. Bowers, but could hear our conversation from the living room and immediately called me inside after hearing Mr. Bowers discussing the roofing jobs and told me he was totally impressed with the way Mr. Bowers presented himself and information/cost of the work and told me to hire him for the work right then. Mr. Bowers was helpful in answering any questions I had and also recommended on the older home to apply hurricane clips which the cost would eventually be a wash out with my insurance reduction for this added feature. I signed the contract that day and he gave me a tentative start date (this was during the time that we were having so much rainfall that everyone was behind in roofing). They did show up even a couple days before the start date and were very organized in every aspect of the process of removal of the old roofs and installing new ones. It was a smooth flow of construction and everything was explained to me when I had questions along the way. The clean up was done on a daily basis and they never left any debris to be picked up the next day. I was so happy about my two new roofs and how well the work went that I told everyone that I haven't been so happy since I married my husband. All his workers were very quiet, respectful, and courteous which is a real plus in this operation and I commend Mr. Bowers for making sure he has this kind of crew working for him.

The whole process went very smoothly. They responded very quickly to my request for an appraisal and receipt of the appraisal was very timely. Due to very heavy rains for an extended period the job was not able to start on our agreed upon date. The ground around my house was extremely wet due to the excessive rain. Art Construction stayed in contact with me throughout the delay and would even come out to inspect the ground conditions to see if it was dry enough to begin work. Art Construction handled all the paperwork for my homeowners insurance including the inspection for hurricane clips and wind mitigation. Art Construction informed me of a rebate and supplied the paperwork for the rebate from my local power company. From beginning to end it was a very positive and professional experience. Art Construction was highly recommended to me and I would not hesitate to recommend them. They treat the customer and the work with respect. Very professional!

I contracted for a complete metal reroof my house. I went to the office and I signed the contract and paid half of the cost as a down payment in July, 2013. The installation date was scheduled to start August 5, 2013. A work foreman visited my home in late July and asked me if I wanted to have the chimney stack part of the roof replaced. I said yes, I do and that is part of the contract, isn't it? He said no, it is not. The original contract did not mention the replacement of the chimney stack section that was part of the previous existing roof. This was a complete surprise to me. Therefore, I had to amend the contract and pay $1200.00 extra to get the full roof job done to include the chimney stack area of the roof. After the roof was installed I found nails and tacks in my yard and driveway and found a few roof screws by the road by my mailbox. I also found cigarette butts all over the yard. When I met David Bowers at my house to make the final payment for the roof I advised him of the nails and cigarette butts. I believe he got some of his men come out and pick up most of the nails. I am satified with the installation of the new metal roof and the replacement of the chimney stack area of the roof. I rate the work as a B+ and I learned another serious lesson in making sure all the details are included in a contract before any signatures.

In the fall of 2012 Art Construction replaced roof on our home. We were very satisfied with their work, the roof look nice. They even painted over water damage in one bedroom, neglecting damage done in living room, this was a verbal agreement that they would fix these problems with no charge. When the heavy rains started in early July we noticed water leakage around and above chimney inside of house. I called Art Construction, they came out to inspect the problem. It was discovered that the flashing around chimney on roof was rotted. Art Construction estimated the job at $1,050. I asked Them why wasn't this mentioned at time of roofing job because I'm sure it was visible at that time. No excuse was given. I feel Art Construction was unfair in not telling me of the problem then so it could have been repaired then. I will not be using Art Construction and will not recommend them to any other home owners.

After it was put up, there were several leaks that were coming through. They had to come back a couple of times to actually fix the leak as they had problems locating it. They were finally able to fix it and we're happy now as it has been raining a lot this summer and I haven't seen a leak since.

I am very pleased with the Residential Re-Roof job completed by ART Construction during the week of Aug. 4, 2013. The Re-Roof was an Architectural Shingle project bringing a twenty-one year old structure up to the current Florida Building Code. At my request peel and seal tape on plywood joints (this is not required in my area of Florida) was included at a most reasonable cost. Two crews were used on this job, one for removal of old material and one for installation of new material. First line supervision of both crews was outstanding and all personnel were courteous and skilled. It must be noted that these professionals performed splendidly under the very adverse weather conditions of heat and heavy rains. The work crews accomplished their task in four days. Though there was "down time" because of rainstorms the crews compensated for the problem by staying on the job far more than the eight hours normally expected and at the end of each day performed an excellent clean up and removal of trash from the area. The finished product is outstanding and well worth the money. As a post script I'd like to add that David Bowers completed the Wind Mitigation Inspection on Aug. 16th. There was no additional charge. On the 24th of August my insurance company let me know that my Homeowners Policy premium had been reduced. The savings is an impressive 45% of the old premium. My choice of ART Construction of NW FL, LLC, continues to pay off!

Great! The estimator was on-time. Repair started as soon as the material was on hand. Service team was knowledgeable and efficient. Everyone was polite.

I received estimates from four roofing companies all of which I found on Angies list. I selected Art Construction for two reasons; (1) The professionalism of the estimator (Dave was extremely knowledgeable and answered all questions). (2) Price. Art Construction required I pay 50% down and set a start date of 12 August 2013. I was contacted on the 7th of August and advised they would be able start on the 8th and that it would take two to three days to complete the job. The roofers arrived at the time they said and worked very well as a team. They completed the job on the morning of the third day. I am very pleased with their work and highly recommend this company.

They are reliable, keeps promise in dealing with me, and their price was fair.

I couldn't decide on shingle or metal case I had not heard to much about metal roof, so David explain it all in a very understanding way so my choice was simple. The color decision took the longest of everything I could not make up my mind, I chose 2 colors one on siding and different on roof I love my choice! I had excellent communication with David and his crew they started and arrived as schedule, took old roof off and any rotten wood, installed new decking and a new metal roof done in 2 days. They also cleaned up the work site every day something that is great when you got a 4 year old around. The roofers were very professional and meticulous about their work. I was really, really pleased. With completion of the roof David did the inspection and addional paperwork for my insurance company got done which reduced my policy cost. Also documentation for the local power company was brought so I could complete forms for energy savings available in our area and I got 400$ back from Gulf Power. Nothing better than that and on top of that I'm saving between 40-60$ on my power bill per month so far..... My new metal roof looks GREAT! Great job and I will recommend them to others fore sure!

On time for quote and installation. Roof was installed on Wednesday and started leaking on Saturday, six return trips by same installation crew and still leaking. Crew finally covered our roof with a blue tarp. We ended up hiring a professional home inspector and got our city building inspector involved. After all of this, David sent a vetern roofer and he was at our house two days correcting all issues. No leaks and our roof finally looks great. In all fairness, David deducted the money we paid to inspector for inspections and all issues have been corrected. Only wish he would have come looked at our roof when they could not get the leaks stopped and all of this could have been avoided!

It was atrocious. We waited 2.5 months they went out and took measurements then ended up being short shingles so our roof was left open and exposed. We were called and told that it would be taken care of the next day, then 3 days later we receive a phone call from our rental company that our tennant is wondering when they will be back to finish the roof because dark storm clouds are coming. I was not happy that they said it would be finished the next day and it took over three. Then he calls me and says there is a problem with the gutters and I asked him to please get in touch with my Husband to figure out what he wanted to do next. He called back 3 minutes later and told me he couldn't reach him and he needed me to make a decision right now because his whole crew was apparently waiting on our decision. I told him that I didn't appreciate being bullied and I specifically said I am not going to make a decision without my husband understanding what is going on. I really was quite frustrated with the way in which I was treated. Finally to cap everything off, we get the bill about 3 weeks later (what took so long is beyond me) and when I call to pay by credit card, which is what we did before we started, called and asked if they took Discover so we could get points, they tell me that there is going to be an additional 3% fee for charging to our card. So incredibly frustrating. How hard is it to tell someone who calls to specifically ask if you take a credit card to explain up front that there is an additional 3% fee? We still have not received pictures of the outside of the roof, just overall don't waste your time with them.

They sent a guy out that gave me an estimate and then sent a crew out and completed the work. Everyone was very professional and courteous. They did an excellent job on the new shingles and haven't had any problems. I was actually surprised the price was so low for the excellent job they did in such a short time. In addition to doing the work I called them back later to see if they could send photos to my insurance company. They made an additional trip to my house and took photos and sent them to my insurance company for no additional charge!!! I'd recommend Art Construction to anyone.

It took the workers 2 days to remove the old shingles and break down the leaning chimney. They did an excellent job in removing the old material from around the house and yard and were very careful not to damage any bushes or plants around the house. It took several more days to install the new roof and they did a great job I am very pleased with it, the house looks like a new house now. They also scanned around the house to pick up any nails or metal material that might have fallen from the roof during the installation. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants a professional job done on a new roof.

It went very well. Our homeowner's insurance had been canceled as of 5/22/2013 due to our roof being 19 years old, so there was a timing issue. However, the biggest complication was that we had previously installed solar panels on the roof and they had to be removed and replaced before and after the new roof installation. We decided to do this ourselves due to the expenses that would have been incurred otherwise. Art Construction worked with us to plug the holes in the roof where the lag bolts for the solar panel railings had been. They did this in a timely manner, before there was any chance of rain. Removal of the old shingles began on the day it was scheduled. They found a lot of wet rot in the plywood sheets around the old gutters and chimney. I was impressed with their thorough approach in repairing all of the wet rot damage before new shingles were installed. I am also impressed with the final product. We used the color of one of their drip edge samples to paint the trim on our house. The new roof looks great. Working with Art Construction was a good experience.

David Bowers quoted $12,000 dollars and 3 days to complete the job. With my wife working from home, he gave a schedule of the initial hours that would contain some noise that may interfere with her work. The workers were prompt, courteous and professional. They cleaned up every day. The workers used their tie off safety system 100% of the time. At the completion of the project, all trash was removed and the property was screened for nails with a magnet. They did a great job.

This was a great experience. We have a vacation home and the renters let us know the roof was leaking (which we had already tried to fix ourselves). We had called someone else out (who was more of a handyman and not a professional roofer, to be fair), who wanted to rip out the entire inside ceiling for the porch to find the source of the leak. My dad said he thought the pitch was wrong for shingles. We called another area roofer who never returned our call. So we waited to get work done until it was really urgent. Then we called Dave at Art Construction. He came out immediately, said the pitch was wrong for shingles, and gave us what seemed like a very fair estimate for torch-down roofing for the porch area. He didn't try to upsell or anything. We handled everything via email, fax and phone. They came out quickly and as scheduled, did the job, and cleaned up. We've had no problems at all. I thought this was a terrific experience. It's great to have someone reliable when you can't be onsite to watch every second.
