He was on time and did the inspection, but I never received the invoice or report. My boyfriend met him at the house and said he took a caulk gun up and did some work around a vent, but I don't know what he did. He told my boyfriend that we needed some minor work, but never put it in writing. I called for the invoice and they were nice enough on the phone, but still no written report. Pretty disappointing.

First, Art Construction worked with me on finding the color of singles that I really liked as well as which type of single would provide good wind resistance. That is important because of the hurricane threat. Then quoted a price, and scheduled a start date. They performed the service on schedule and on budget. I am hoping to receive a quote for more work very soon.

They were extremely courteous and professional. Their work was excellent. The price was much more competitive than other estimates and I was extremely happy.

I had just purchased a home, and my insurance policy was almost immediately going to be canceled due to the short life expectancy of the roof. When Ryan Vess came to provide a quote for the new roof he gave me thorough breakdown of materials, pricing, and an accurate timeline. The new roof was installed in a single, and the clean up was stellar! A few days later an inspection from a licensed professional was completed at no cost to me, compliments of Art Construction which they immediately provided to my insurance company. Now I'm saving hundreds on home owners insurance every year! With the new roof and credits on my home owner's insurance, that's two less things to worry about for the next 30 + years!

We got three bids to replace our 7000+ square foot roof. Art Construction wasn?t the least expensive nor were they the most expensive. But we chose them as they were highly recommended by people we knew. The service we received was awesome! Art Construction was very professional and job manager TJ explained everything to us up front. They pulled the permits, the crew was punctual every morning, cleaned up the area each evening, and used the big magnet to pick up errant roofing nails. Several decking boards had to be replaced on our roof; Art Construction photographed the old boards before they were removed, in fact, anything out of the normal was photo-documented. We also had a small back porch roof that they resurfaced. The entire job only took one week. In addition, they completed the paperwork and filed the warranty, plus completed a new wind mitigation form and submitted it to our insurance company. We will save about $500 on our insurance each year! We would recommend Art Construction to anyone anytime!!

The work was scheduled and completed in less than two days. The price was competitive, workers were professional and courteous and cleanup was efficient.

Art Construction was great to work with. They showed up when they said they would and returned phone calls in a timely manner. The crew was quick and did a nice job. Our only complaint is that we were unaware that they would need us to remove everything from our pool deck, and would've preferred to remove it ourself. Overall, it was a great experience. We would definitely use Art Construction again.

Group is easy to work with. No money up front which is very unusual in the construction trades. Difficult roofs to deal with tear off more involved than anticipated and that boosted price which still made it below other bids proffered. Crews worked hard when on site. Have hired them to do another job which is to put Hardie board on all exterior non stucco surfaces of 2 units. So far so good and this project is ongoing and more than half finished. Company is easy to deal with. They go through the proper permitting procedures and also brought the manufacturer rep in to certify roofs for warranty.

after my initial inquiry, the estimate was completed within 48 hours. the crew arrived on time and went to work. I received regular updates from TJ as the work progressed. When the crew was finished there was no debris left. TJ came to do final inspection, and accept payment. We now have the best roof on the block! I was pleased with the work and the warranty.

It went well. They arrived when they said they would, they got right to work and did the job quickly and neatly. They cleaned up after they were done. The crew was friendly and efficient.

The team arrived on time and immediately got to work. While the work took several days (mostly due to weather conditions), the team worked until well into dusk each evening. The workmanship is top-notch. Part of my roof is a flat area and the transition from angled to flat is seamless and looks really good. Unexpected repairs were done and those costs were very reasonable. But the BIG impression came a couple of weeks after the work was finished. A hard rain showed a slight leak in one corner of the flat roof section. When notified, they responded immediately and fixed the leak IN THE RAIN. I highly recommend this company. They are simply the BEST.

newly emerging St Augustine grass sod before I got to the door. Putting that much weight onto a soft, waterlogged and sandy soil caused the truck to sink up to his rims. After depositing his load onto my roof the driver attempted to back out of the yard and promptly sank further into the wet soil. Only thing that saved him from burying up to his axles was a storm water pipe his rear wheels were sitting on. A very large (three axle) tow truck was called to pull him out of the yard. This resulted in some rather deep trenches dug into my front yard. Thankfully, once the onsite crew notified Art Construction's front office and provided the details of our situation they contacted the front office of the third party vendor who in turn informed me they would willingly work with me to rectify the damaged lawn. I am currently seeking a landscaping specialist from Angie's list to assist in restoring my front lawn to something I can maintain myself.

The workers arrived, and roof was torn off the first day, and metal roof was on the second day. They cleaned up each day, which was good. It took about a week to finish all the wood repair on the fascia, and install the gutters. There was good communication, and the work is top notch!! Also, wind mitigation inspection was done, which will save us $$$ on homeowners insurance. I had four other bids from local companies. The reviews, warranty, price, and personal recommendations from others, helped me to choose ART CONSTRUCTION.

Office made appointment with us. Owner came on site at appointment time to assess home. Professional, helpful and mannerly. Gave us a quote within 24 hrs. Answered our many emails about product choice. Provided product manufacturer contact information and helpful websites. Once contract was signed we were contacted by office manager with expected date of install. Two days before expected install date contact was made to confirm the material delivery and actual install date. All aspects of process were as expected. Roofing crew on-site on scheduled install date. Throughout the install constant communication was had between job supervisor, office coordinator and us the homeowners. Roof is completely installed; wind mitigation report for insurance was provided as part of contract price and delivered within 48 hrs of job completion. High marks all around.

Previous job and weather prevented roof from being replaced at schedule time and the waste management trash bin stayed in drive way 4 days past completion of roof, lots of nails left in drive way.

The crew showed up promptly on the day the work was scheduled and almost finished the work in one day. The crew had to come back the next day to finish the gabled part (front and back) of the house. Before they left, they organized their tools and covered the exposed part of the roof with a blue tarp and secured it overnight. They came back the next day and finished it around noon. I was very pleased with how they worked together and the quality of their work. A couple of days later they installed a zipper boot to cover the area where the power lines come into our home which was discussed before the crew left. Three days after having the roof installed, they came to install the gutters. There was a delay in receiving the gutters, so the installation did not coincide with the roof installation. This caused a minor problem because the gutter had to be screwed into the drip edge which caused minor leaking behind the gutter when it rained. The crew did their best to get the gutter up under the new drip edge, but had to settle for securing it on the outside through the drip edge which I agreed upon. The crew did come back a couple of weeks later to caulk and put flashing near the valleys to keep the rain water from getting behind the gutter and prevent water from splashing up on outer doors. A couple weeks after the roof was installed, I noticed a section of the ridge vent that wasn't quite secure. While finishing up the paperwork with the project manager, I mentioned the ridge vent and they promptly and correctly fixed the problem within an hour. Note: If the gutters were installed after the old drip edge was removed and the new drip edge installed over the back of the gutters, leaking would not have occurred. For the most part, I was very pleased with the work that was completed and in a timely fashion. The team at Art Construction were very professional, prompt with service and knowledgeable of all their products.

David Bower of ART Construction was extremely professional in his approach to this project. I had done my homework and was prepared with two pages of detailed questions concerning exactly what I wanted done and queries concerning the type of materials and labor he would use to do this job. He patiently answered all my questions about asphalt shingle and metal roofs and answered additional questions I raised before we finally agreed on ART Construction for the project. His price was not the cheapest of the six proposals I received but his pricing provided excellent value for the money spent. When the roofing job started his work crew was punctual, patient with a curious homeowner (me) and made me feel good about the job they were doing. Every type of materiel was to specification and most importantly, this crew took the time and made the effort to do a professional job. They cleaned up every day and made corrections or explained the process when I made a request. The result is a beautiful metal roof any homeowner would be proud of. I highly recommend ART Construction to anyone considering a new roof whether it be shingle or metal. David Bower is knowledgeable, friendly and a real professional.

First day the old shingle removal crew, removed shingles and under lament quickly and as quiet as possible. Took them half a day then the metal roof crew came in and put down stick and seal on the roof. This product is amazing because it quickly seals in and protects the wood from moisture and rain. The Metal crew showed up the next day and started placing metal on the roof. The supplier of the metal roof sent wrong color and this was caught quickly and corrected. The foreman explained and apologized for the delay . Work was started and finished the fallowing 2 days. All professional and polite working crews. My husband and I are very pleased with our new beautiful metal roof and have had nothing but compliments from neighbors. Great clean up, quiet and professional fallow up. Cost was the most reasonable of all estimates.

I wanted a good warranty and one that was transferable. I was also in a time crunch as my homeowners insurance was going to be cancelled if I did not replace my roof. David Bower returned phone messages promptly. The start date as a few days later than planned but the job was completed by the date needed. David also provided my insurance company with the specs on the roof so that my mortgage premium was reduced. I am very satisfied with the shingles I chose and the completed roof.

His workers were very polite and professional. They kept in contact with me and asked how I was feeling about it. If I need another roof I would use them again.

The workers showed up the morning of October 20, 2013 to remove the old shingled roof. It took most of the day to remove the old roof but they were able to get it done and were also able to replace three of the plywood sheets that were damaged, due to the leak they even covered the roof with a tarp until the second crew could put the metal roof on. The next day it rained so they could not get the metal roof put on. On Friday the 22nd the second crew showed up and started putting down the metal roof, they were able to get 99% of the roof completed, the was one small strip that was missing. They were able to get the missing piece and install it on Saturday morning. So all in all it took less than 3 days to stripe the old roof and put down a new roof. We are very pleased with their work. The crews also did a pretty good job of cleaning up the yard when they were down.
