Action Tree Service

Description of Work: The price was very cheap, and so was the service. The trees were cut down, and that team left, along with the remaining stumps. While I was out, someone came and cut 2 of the 3 stumps, and left all the debris. This lasted for several weeks. Today a team with a stumpgrinder came along, 4 guys, they did a poor job of cutting the stump and left the mess. A short time ago, the first person I dealt with came out and picked up the mess. Not a good job. I will not recommend them.

Description of Work: Pending Contract: Lee Brown cut two Pine Trees and took them away. And he and his Climber "Bobby’ did only part of the Job. If you want a crook to take down some tree's and move them, call this man. He will even clean up all the mess! However, Friday the 12th of Sept, 2011, the time he said he would be back to grind the stumps. I called 4 times leaving messages over a 4 hour period thinking he may be backed up on other jobs because of some previous bad weather. He never responded to let me know if he would finish the job. He said while leaving in a hurry that he would give me $ 100.00 dollars back for the $ 450.00 check I gave him until he grinds the stumps the coming Friday. I thought he would grind the stumps on the same day he cut the trees so i had already written the check! He handed me what I thought was $ 100 in 20 dollar bills, only it was folded and I did not count it right away. Just as he left in a hurry, I only counted Four 20 dollar bills. I called him right away as I watched him driving away to let him know that he made a mistake and only gave me $80 dollars and that I would give him the 80 bucks back to him when he came back on Friday. Well, he never called or came back to finish the job. I had to have the Stumps removed from someone else and it cost me $170 more dollars. I called the Police and they say they can not do anything so it’s really a waist of my time to go to the court house…so Mr. Lee Brown made off without finishing the Job and owes me money. It is ashamed that people are such liars in Business today……
