It didn't go well. I called specifically for Vinyl Siding only. I learned he also does windows & doors. Well, after that, he didn't care about the vinyl siding. (this is a vinyl siding company) The vinyl SHOULD have definitely done first. The house should have been wrapped prior to poor installation of windows & doors. He/Joe wouldn't do more than talk about vinyl, I went to the distributor myself to get color samples. He knew that was my priority in order to choose the exterior colors for painting, etc. The windows were also left with horrible caulking work. GLOBS. One window, he returned to clean up only because it had blood in it. It's still and ugly mess. The communication between his installer, himself, and me was horrible. The distributor came to deliver all the windows & doors (large) because "JOE" with A & P said they didn't have room to store them. They were putting them on my back porch, my garage, moving things around I couldn't do on my own. Thankfully the distributor intervened and said YES bring them back, we have room to keep them. The windows & doors were done on separate days. There was in climate weather, Joe himself said he wasn't sure. But, he didn't tell the installer or me that. I was startled & awaken that morning with installer at my door in the rain, unexpectedly. I freaked out, PTSD, more unexpected Hurricane Men at my house. He refused to return the next day because of his own personal issues. Joe refused to ever install the vinyl. It was 1/3 the cost of the windows & doors. For a vinyl siding company, why start there? Especially if it's not the property order? Months rolled by, Joe would or wouldn't return calls. Either way, unless esigned the contract without having confirmed the vinyl color choices (he had said many times he would return to review it, he was supposed to when he came back to clean up the globs of caulk & blood. He was supposed to when he returned to replace my original storm door box they tossed out. I have no warranty, no directions and a screen to keep safe for change outs. "awwww, you'll never want to put the screen in" ?? Now, bare wood has been exposed on my front door nearly a year maybe. My house Is now MORE vulnerable to leaks & water damage than before I paid for the doors & windows. $16,000 (rounded up) is a LOT of money! The price estimate for the vinyl was also high. In order now (as ins claim closed & company sold, coming up on 3 years of the CAT 5 that destroyed our lives a GC must remove their work around the area of windows & doors where there should have been vinyl first, so he can PROPERLY wrap the house, and reinstall the windows & door most exposed to weather or where there isn't brick. Very inconsiderate. Very unkind. All of them are from N. Dakota but the owner, He does't speak to customers. He doesn't care.

My wife and I contacted Paul and Armond Lincoln, doing business as A&P Vinyl Siding, for an estimate. Paul actually came out the very next day and supplied us with a very reasonable quotation to replace rotten Masonite, install new windows, and install vinyl siding, as well as cover our fascia and soffits. My wife and I were amazed at how soon Paul and his crew were able to begin the job and at the quality of work we received. We are extremely happy with our new insulated windows, white fascia boards and soffits, and our new Heritage Blue siding! Paul was able to wrap all of our door and window trim in white aluminum, which protects the wood and matches our upgrades as well. I highly recommend A&P Vinyl Siding to anyone in need of windows, doors, and vinyl siding work! You will be delighted at the customer service you will receive and the professionalism of their work!
Description of Work: The folks who owned my home previously installed Masonite siding on the family room addition. Well, we all now know that Masonite doesn't hold up well to weather, so we decided to replace all rotten areas, install new windows, and install vinyl siding on this room and our storage building.
