Description of Work: I had a sliding glass door that was becoming more difficult to open with each use. | |I had another glass company check it out first and they quoted me $3500. They told me that the door's frame was too far gone and needed to be replaced. I asked if there was any other option and was told no. | |I got a 2nd opinion from Area Glass and was told virtually the same thing but that they felt that I could get a few more years out of my frame if I were to just replace the rollers and bearings. I received this option without even asking. They did note that I would eventually be paying for a full replacement. | |The $150 was a "gamble" worth taking. | |Thanks | |

+ 0 moreTheir cost and the location stood out the most to me. They had to call back because there were some little corners that they didn't caulk in and didn't put the stripping back; but they did come back and do it. Their response was great considering that I had to wait. It took six days for the glass to come in, which was good because they told me it would take 7-8 days to get the glasses. I got the glasses in a timely fashion. Their punctuality was good. They were very professional. They did not make a mess. They cleaned up everything, which I was really glad.
Description of Work: Area Glass replaced a double pane sliding glass door for me.
