Overall, the job was ok. The windows paid for themselves-its usually the workers that cause an issue. My biggest negative-I have window treatments-custom blinds-that no longer close properly. The new windows come out further than the old, so the blinds don't open all the way, or close properly, like before. I don't know if the measurer didn't think about it, didn't worry about it, or just didn't know what the final outcome would be-either way, I have custom blinds that no longer function properly. Also, the installers removed all the tracks, and didn't put them back. I was told "leave the blinds off until the caulking dries"-the blinds don't come anywhere near the caulk. It was frustrating putting the tracks back-had no idea how to. I was given a packet afterwards, and one of the forms was a customer satisfaction paper. I don't know about you, but it is hard to write something negative with the worker standing right in front of you, in your house! Customers shouldn't be put on the spot that way. That form should be mailed in. Finally, the salesman should make it very clear that the customer is responsible for choosing a date when an inspector is to return to check the job. AND that is will take another 24-48 hours to complete. I felt like I was served a meal, but had to cook it then clean up afterwards.

It went very well. I initially met with Sam Suhweil, Sales Manager, who did a superb job presenting their products. This included showing me a sample window, which he brought into our home. I invited a number of companies to bid on our window needs. Several preferred to deal on the phone, asking me to email measurements. One other person came to our home, and his demonstration consisted of pointing to a sample in his trunk. I wondered how much they wanted the job. The window installation fell within the estimated time frame. This was performed by two men named "Boze" and Brandon, who did a great job. The were very neat, careful, polite, and had no problem answering the questions I had as they progressed. They took care to work around the window treatments, blinds, curtains, furniture, etc., they encountered, and could easily move these if necessary. It took a little over two days, which was per their estimate. When finished, they spent time ensuring I understood the features of the windows, and future care.

Salesman were professional and punctual. Thorough explanation of product and warranty. Provided a great product with a great price. Installers were courteous; their work was neat and clean. Installation was completed on promised date. Would definitely recommend.

Outstanding!! I received quotes from several different companies, and Jack and Sam at Window Depot were not only the best price, but they were the most responsive as well. They were very accommodating when scheduling appointments. They gave me additional discounts when I referred 2 neighbors to them...but more importantly, I love the windows! They are very high quality, look great, and the installers did a great job as well. It took 3 days to install 5 windows and 2 sets of sliders, but Robert was very very meticulous with my window coverings, flooring, and furniture--cleaning as he went. I couldn't be happier...I would use them again in a heartbeat!

It went very well. The workman showed up on time and worked thru the day. It took 2 days to complete the job. They cleaned up after themselves and did a beautiful job on the install. We could not be happier. After the install, they helped coordinate the inspection. The last step should happen this week and that is to cover the anchor holes. I am very pleased with their professionalism and workmanship.

Went very well. Installation was clean the windows have been great for 6 months now. Massive difference in room comfort as my office is upstairs and the windows face the West. John the sales guy is a straight-shooter and came in with the best price from the get-go. I didn't have to haggle or anything - his price beat everyone else and I didn't have to play dollar games.

Every thing went great from beginning to present. The project is not complete because the installer is waiting for the Hurricane shutters from the manufacturer. I highly recommend Window Depot to everyone.

I believe my expectations for home improvement project contractors are the same as most people. Responsive and knowledgeable inspection and estimate process: Giacomo (Jack) DiBerardino personally visited our home, spent a lot of time taking measurements, reviewing the numerous options with us and providing a very competitive cost estimate. He was enthusiastic about his ability to give us exactly what we wanted. Ability and willingness to comply with building codes: Giacomo has outstanding understanding of building codes and has an excellent working relationship with permitting agencies. No corner cutting. All the regulatory requirements were met and paperwork was done both to perfection and in a timely manner. Quality product: Giacomo offered a variety of products. We picked Neuma in part because they assemble their doors in the USA and they are very high quality construction. Giacomo was able to give us a range of options/costs and spent as much time as we needed to evaluate the numerous options. Quality workmanship: Truly the most memorable part of the project. Every aspect of the installation from taking measurements to framing to door/panel installation to caulking to clean up was exemplary. Abundantly clear to me that Giacomo only deals with subcontractors who take exceptional pride in doing everything right. Total installation time was only about 8 hours. They knew what they were doing and did it right. Responsive follow up and warranty: Giacomo stands by his product with a lifetime labor warranty and ensured the door manufacturer Neuma promptly corrected a small assembly defect. Great experience from start to finish. We will use Window Depot for other door and window projects we have planned the next few years.

The first step was introducing us to the product, Simington Windows, for on the beach we need extra protection from strong winds. I was very impressed with their demonstration of the windows. They told us in advance that they would be out to properly measure everything in advance of the delivery date. They were punctual and energetic, two men assigned to the work. Old windows were removed and taken away, and the work area was neat and clean. After installation, they returned to check for the code approval for the village. The work permits had been handled by them, minimizing our time greatly. All windows were checked, and they thoroughly informed us about how the windows function. We have already noticed a marked reduction in traffic noise outside. E-mail communication was timely and supportive. No attempt was made to "push" us for a larger work order. COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL!

Everything went well. I felt confident that they would have done a good job.

They were easy to work with, neat, knowledgeable, flexible, good communicators, and very efficient. They have good quality products will use them in the future.

We needed all new Windows and a sliding glass door. We talked to several companies. The Window Depot came out gave us a better price then all the others. They also explained what we needed by law very well. We talked to Sears last year and it was the same Windows for about $18000 more than the Windows Depot. The guys came out and did the job like pros. The employees were very respectful and did a great job all around. I even hit some of the caulk with window blinds and the guys came back and fixed it.

Jack came out and gave us an estimate on the spot, which was much less than other estimates we obtained. He did this in one appointment and in contrast took another company two appointments to obtain. We appreciated Jack's professionalism and straight forward honest approach. His crew was hardworking, did an explemplatory job, in a timely manner, and cleaned up every step of the way. I am looking forward to my next project with The Window Depot as they do much more than just windows. I would recommend The Window Depot to anyone who is looking for great work at a reasonable price. The salesman gave an outstanding in home demonstration of the windows prior to signing the contract and was always available and happy to answer any questions. The installation began when promised and was completed in an excellent manner by installers who were professional and seemed very knowledgeable of their craft. The windows were of the highest quality and did a great job of blocking the bothersome noise from outside. There was no damage during installation and they also did an excellent job of cleaning the area after installation.

In early June 2012, my wife and I came to the conclusion we needed to replace our 17 year old NuAire Aluminum frame, single pane glass windows. After hearing all the horror stories that some our friends, who have replaced windows, I decided to get as many quotes as I could so I could make a very educated purchase decision. We had twelve vendors present their product and give us quotes.The Window Depot, LLC, Sales Rep John and owner Jack visited our home, clearly outlined the PGT Vinyl Series 2200Windows, didn't bash competitors windows and with absolutely NO PRESSURE and delivered us a quote for our windows. Of the 12 quotes, The Window Depot LLC came in with the very best price for a very good product. We signed the contract and placed the order. We were told it would take three to four weeks to manufacture and deliver the windows. The windows, as stated, were delivered at the end of the forty week and a representative from PGT called to say that there would be a slight delay, which I really appreciated. Robert, an employee of Window Depot, promptly installed the windows and left a very clean job site upon completion. We had a couple of small issues that were immediately taken care of by a PGT Rep as well as The Window Depot. All in all our experience with PGT Industries and The Window Depot LLC has been a very refreshing and delightful experience. I have refered The Window Depot to a neighbor, who has signed a purchase contract, and I will continue to refer The Window Depot LLC. They are a very professional operation who does what they say, when they say and how they say. Obviously, my wife and I are Very Happy with The Window Depot LLC. .

The whole entire process was very professional and timely. I would never even know that they did any work because they cleaned up very well and didn't disturb any of the stucco. Their trim work and caulking was very nice. I can actually say that I didn't have any complaints. The price was comparable to others companies.

Cheaper than other quote by thousands of dollars. Excellent quality product. Quoted to take two days and they finished installing in two days. Very pleased with the way our windows turned out. Workers stayed on point, focused and no mess afterwards. They came back the third day to finish removing the windows and frames.

I had replacement windows installed in my home. It was a more difficult than usual installation because of my particular needs. Because Jack, the owner of The Window Depot, took extra time to educate me on every aspect of windows (frames, glass thickness, tempered, insulated glass, gas filled, Low-E, double hung, grills, operating windows, picture windows, warranties, tax credits, etc.), I felt confident in choosing a very good energy efficient vinyl window (Simonton 5500 Reflections series) along with the various options that met my needs. The frame I chose was an integral flange vs. the usual snap-on flange. I had the stucco removed from the outside block wall opening around the old windows, then had the new windows installed, then had new stucco reapplied to the block. This more difficult installation is not usually done, but I could not be happier with the finished appearance. The new windows look like they were part of the original home and are exceptionally water tight. I also needed 3" of drywall reveal on the inside wall opening around the windows for plantation shutters. This also complicated the installation because some of the wood furring strips on the block wall openings needed to be moved. The Window Depot owner, Jack, was actively involved and cared about every aspect of the job. Where other window companies and contractors I met with asked for money up front, Jack did not ask for a penny until the job was finished and I was completely satisfied. After I signed the contract, I changed my mind and removed four large vinyl picture windows from the contract. In their place, I decided to install aluminum framed picture windows (beveled glass corner with no frame) in the kitchen nook overlooking the pool, which was not The Window Depot's specialty. Since this change would reduce the size of their job, I was concerned that The Window Depot would charge me a penalty. Without any hesitation, Jack removed the four windows from the contract without any extra charge. Jack has a heart of gold! He put my interests above his and was genuinely interested in my complete satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend The Window Depot to anyone needing new home or replacement windows.

The Window Depot gave me an incredible price on these windows... they charged me about $4000 less than what four other contractors had quoted to install equivalent or lesser quality windows. I chose The Window Depot largely for the price, but I also checked them out on Angie's List and the BBB and they reviewed favorably. They were also listed on the window manufacturer's website (Paradigm) as a "Diamond Dealer" of Paradigm windows. The installation crew was punctual and professional. The installation took two days, and they did a very nice job on both the installation and cleanup. After the first day I noticed a couple of very minor issues, but I pointed them out on the second day and they were happy to fix it for me... it was really just me nitpicking anyway, but I appreciated that they resolved it for me without any grief. At the end of the second day, the workers discovered that two of the screens had been damaged in transit, so they ordered two new screens which they installed at a later date. Overall I'm very pleased with the work they did and the quality of the windows. I'm so glad I didn't go with one of the other contractors that wanted to charge me $4000 more. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We finally good things worked out but it was real nightmare. They had the wrong windows. It took about 3 months to get the job totally done to my satisfaction. Bottom line was that we got some very nice windows for very cheap. They worked with us and worked things out. They came through in the end.
