Nick was incredibly prompt, responding almost immediately to us after purchasing an Angie's List Big Deal. He was thorough and fair in his assessment of what we wanted done and how much the additional work would be. He set very realistic expectations regarding the outcome of the project. His painter, Emmanuel, was on time, courteous, clean, and a fast worker. He finished a whole day early. I will never use another paint company! These guys are THE BEST!!!

The team did a great job showing up on time and putting in rather long days despite the heat and humidity. They also had to dodge raindrops as well, since this was done during two days of intermittent showers, which they took a chance on completing for us. Nick answered all of our questions and concerns quite amicably and was a pleasure to work with. He did everything he said they would do, including cleaning up everything before they left. These guys did a terrific job and were flexible in meeting our scheduling needs, only wanting to meet our satisfaction level which they actually exceeded. I would recommend do any painting or decorating needs for someone, either internal or external.

The workers were on time each of the three days that the job took and were gone by the time we got home from work; clean up was done daily (house was spotless each day); we are getting ready to sell, and the house looks terrific! The painters were polite and very nice. Absolutely no complaints.

Everything went great This is the second time in 6 months that we used Sunrise Quality Painting. After they did such a great job painting the exterior of our home we knew Nick would be the only one we would call when we decided to remove the wallpaper and paint our interior. After initially telling us it would be 1.5 weeks before he could start, when he had a break in schedule due to weather, knowing we were anxious to get this done he ended up coming out the next day to get started. As is always the case with Nick and his crew they were respectful of our home and property. The house looks great and have recommended Sunrise Quality Painting to anyone who ask. Unfortunately, we are selling our home and moving further south and will not be able to use Nick in the future I can only hope that we can find someone who does as great a job as Sunrise for our new home.

He provided me with the type of materials, etc to make sure they met with my approval. Nick completed an estimate for me before leaving. He was extremely professional and made me feel very confident that the job would be completed to my satisfaction. My home would be sprayed washed thoroughly, every area necessary would be prepped and caulked, the entire house would be primed and painted with two coats of paint. I contacted him with additional areas to add on, the price was extremely reasonable!! My husband and I could not be present when he painted. My brother went down to meet and oversee the job. Before my brother arrived, Nick had called me to review the details yet again. He walked around the home while on the phone with me to make sure he understood what I wanted. They began working on my home two days early. Nick called me every step of the way, as that is our second home and I was not there, Every area that could've had over spray was completed covered with plastic. My brother, who is very picky, was completely impressed with the professionalism, quality of work, show of craftsmanship in their work down to every detail. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome of the job Nick and his workers at Sunrise Quality Painting, Inc. did on my home! The price and the work is above and beyond excellent!! WHAT CAN I SAY, EXCEPT, BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER USED for outdoor painting. owner and crew are the best and most friendly service, deserve the top of any list.

Sunrise Quality Painting did an excellent job. Nick came out to the house quickly after I requested a quote. He walked around the house with me to make sure he understood what I wanted done. He then provide a quote on the spot which was 25% less than the next closest quote I had gotten. He followed up by calling me to see if I had any questions. When I informed him that he won the job, he scheduled the painting within a few weeks. He pressure washed, sealed cracks and taped plastic sheeting on all the windows and other areas that needed protecting. He applied a seal coat plus 2 coats of paint. It took him 3 days to complete the job. He cleaned up all areas when he was finished and walked the job with me to make sure I was satisfied. He requested no money up front and I paid him the original agreed to amount once the job was complete and I was satisfied.

My home looks beautiful and I hope it will last longer than 5-6 years usually seen in Florida! I very much appreciate that this contractor negotiated and worked with my wife on this project without me even having to get involved (other than to tell her a couple of my requirements). The comments provided here are my wife's. The contractor was very prompt in responding to request for estimate. He did not put original estimate in contract form and had to come back to write and sign a contract. The contractor was scheduled 3-4 weeks out but was able to do my home about 3 weeks from signing the contract. Any complaints or issues brought up during the working period were addressed immediately and completely. They spent 1 day power spraying (to clean) the house, 1 day painting the roof, and 1 day painting the 2400 sq. ft. house. The roof was really dirty and they could have spent another 1/2 day on the power spraying because they started with the roof and ended in the front of the house. The front shutters still contained dirt when they were finished with the power spraying. The roof alone probably should have taken a whole day. (The roof has solar panels. As a result, they worked around the panels and pipes. Panels and pipes were properly covered for painting. The flat part of the roof (app. 15 ft. X 40 ft.) was not power sprayed or painted). There were 3 coats of paint applied - a sealer (roof and house), 2 coats of paint (house) and elastomeric (roof) so it seemed to me that some additional drying time between coats could have occurred but they responded that it was OK to add the next coat without the requisite 4 hour drying time between coats. (We had a really good weather the days we painted the house and it seemed that the surface of the paint dried fairly fast). The painting of the roof took 2 painters - one to power spray and paint and the other provided ground support and begin prepping the house for painting (patching cracks, painting doors, etc.) The painting of the house included a team of 4 painters . The lead worker sprayed on the sealer while the other 3 men covered the windows in clear plastic and caulked. The edger edged the windows and doors, base and top/soffit. Two of the workers rolled and spaces that were too difficult to fully cover using a brush or roller were power sprayed (soffit corners, electrical boxes, pool boxes, etc). The painting crew did an OK job with clean-up - we found a few coffee cups and other debris from the painting (large paint chips, chips from roof mud around the house. The crew missed putting the second coat on a couple of inside door jams and I missed it on the walk-through at the end. They left me with a gallon of paint for touch-ups which I will use to hit these spots. Prior to painting we dug around the house 6 inches so that the painting crew could paint walls down below the dirt line. We also removed small plants/decorative grasses that resided near the walls, and cut back bushes. (The digging was not part of the contract but is expected in "high quality" paint jobs). Our plants around the house did have some wear and tear during the painting process but not more than we would have done if we had painted the house on our own. Overall, an excellent job with a crew of hard working painters. I would highly recommend this company. I will be using them again. l

They were very, very good. They charged us what the estimate was and which was very competitive. They were punctual, finishing a day early after showing up on time. They were careful in making sure paint did not end up where it did not belong and did a wonderful clean up job when the job was done. There work was neat and precise and their workers courteous. The only two small problems we had is that they missed a four foot strip under neath and counter top which never got painted and did not properly resecure an overhead light that fell out of its socket within a day of the job being complete. These were minor problems that we fixed ourselves rather than calling them back but still a pain to do. Overall, competent, quality, punctual, no major complaints.

This a follow-up for Sunrise Quality Painting, Inc. Nick said his crew would pressure wash the outside & tape the windows on a Fri. On Mon. walkways were covered, soffits sprayed, a clear coat applied to walls followed by coats of paint. The job was started and completed on the same day. We are as pleased with the outside as the inside. They are prompt, neat, courteous and hard workers. Last week our bathroom needed repairs. We once again called Nick to fill a hole left in the wall & repaint the wall. Nick did the job himself. We will definitely call Nick for future painting. Thanks Nick & crew.

Nick and his team were absolutely excellent! Without a doubt one of the better experiences I have had when it comes to home contractors. Nick was extremely honest, candid and professional. He did what he said he was going to do, when he said he was going to do it and for the price we agreed to. In the end the house has been transformed and looks spectacular. I can't express enough how pleased we are with the quality of work. If you have the opportunity to work with Sunrise, I guarantee the quality of work will exceed your expectations. Great job A++++

Excellent workmanship. Clean and efficient, delivered what was promised.

Nick at Sunrise Painting responded quickly to my call, and came out shortly afterward to give me a quote. The quote was $1800 plus materials to repair settlement cracks in the living room walls and repaint, replace baseboards in the bedroom and walk-in closet, replace molding around the bedroom and closet doors, install baseboards in the kitchen, and re-texture and paint a bathroom. As we reviewed the work to be done, Nick's recommendations showed that he was detail oriented and believed in doing things the right way. He and his carpenter returned to measure on a Saturday to make it convenient for me, and at that time it was decided to replace the bedroom door as well. Nick suggested starting the work on Saturday so that I wouldn't have to take time off from work. He and his crew arrived promptly at 8:00 a.m. and worked quickly and efficiently. They were polite, professional, and cleaned up afterward. Manuel returned the next morning at 7:00 a.m. on a Sunday and finished the project by 10:30 a.m. I was very impressed that they would work the weekend for my convenience. The final cost was $2025 with the door replacement that we added after the original quote. What a great experience working with Nick and his team! The quality was excellent and they did everything they could to make things easier for me. They couldn't have been more accommodating. I feel like I found a jewel among contractors - they will be the first people I call when I have another painting project. Thank you Nick and crew!

The work went very well. The workers came on time and worked non stop. They took care of covering the house when they were ready to paint and they cleaned up very well when they were finished. I would hire them again if I needed something painted .

We live in Pittsburgh and this is our 2nd home. Nick the company owner contacted me 24 hours after purchasing the coupon through Angie's List and he personally went to inspect the house to get the true scope of the work to be performed. Nick made some suggestions and scheduled a date that fit our schedule. Nick gave us the opportunity to purchase the paint to keep the costs within the quote which was for labor only. He agreed to patch several cracks in the stucco. The crew arrived the afternoon before the scheduled date (with our permission) to scrape, power wash and patch the walls. The next day Nick and 3 workers came and started the project. First priming the entire house. The painted all the sofit and facia first then rolled the first coat of paint and spraying the final coat. We had 3 colors and Nick agreed to paint all three colors for the quoted price, even though the quote was for only 2 colors. We are very pleased with the quality of the timeliness, workmanship, attention to detail and especially price. We have already met with Nick for our next project.

Nick was in touch and on-site daily. the crew was diligent and careful of our plantings. Job complete in 3 days total.

as said above work proceeded as planed , no issues , no complaints. knowledagable , answered any questions with ease. I chose a high grade of paint ( hospital grade so no off gassing smells, no worry of mildew etc ) they appreciated working with high quality materials and my not trying to cut corners to protect my investment.. result is beautiful. no thin spots, lumps, or shadows... Nick and his crew member were extremely fast. They arrived on time, started working immediately, and were done and out of my house in less than 45 minutes. Even working very quickly, they didn't sacrifice quality and did a great job. Nick is very friendly and flexible with scheduling. If you want your paint job done well and done quickly, I would definitely recommend Sunrise Quality Painting.

Nick and his crew did a wonderful job painting the exterior of my home. From start to finish everyone was very prompt, professional and friendly. The house looks fantastic.

Everything was performed as described and completed in less time than estimated.

Nick was great to come out and give a bid but selected the most expensive 'fix' for a stucco home that had free-standing walls wherein metal was exposed and causing rust stains (i.e. installing new plastic corner boot vs. putting an elastic sealer on these and a neutralizer on the rust stains which two other companies suggested). Even after taking away approx. $750 that represented (re)staining the small deck out back and $1500 for replacing these 'boots', the cost for simply preparing and painting would have been $5350, the most expensive of three quotes we received by well-respected painting companies recommended by Angie's.

To get the exterior of our home painted, we received bids from 5 different companies -- four of them from Angie's List -- and Sunrise Quality Painting (Nick Cara) had the lowest bid of everyone from Angie's List. But even before we knew everyone's bid, Nick was our top choice. Nick is a very friendly and sincere man and we believed he would work very hard to make sure we were satisfied with his work. And we were right! Here's why I would happily hire Nick (and his fantastic crew) again: 1. PROMPTNESS: Nick was the fastest company to respond to my request for a quote. That may not sound like much, but it took another company 14 days just to get me a quote. If you're on a tight timeline, you don't want to wait around for a quote. 2. RELIABILITY: Nick's team was here every day (including Saturday) until the job was done. This was a big job, but I was never once concerned about when it would be finished -- Nick's crew was at my house by 7:30 am every morning and they worked very hard all day. 3. PREP WORK: We have a much older home that should have been painted at least 10 years ago. There was a TON of prep work (pressure washing, scraping, caulking, etc.). Nick's prep guy is AMAZING. He works like a machine (high energy, thorough, and NO wasted time) -- he was also courteous, friendly, and professional. 4. FLEXIBILITY: We made a couple of changes during the process and Nick never even flinched. For example, after the first bit of trim color went up, I knew I had chosen the wrong color of paint. I called Nick AFTER five o'clock and not only did he answer the phone, we were able to work out a way to change the color of paint AND have it ready for the team by the next morning. In another example, Nick had suggested a change in our original paint scheme and I disagreed -- well, after the first coat of paint was up, I knew Nick was right. When I mentioned that he had been right, he immediately told me that they could make the change (back to what he had originally suggested) and they did. As another reviewer has said, if Nick makes a suggestion about the number of colors you're using, PAY ATTENTION! 5. HARD WORKING: Everyone on Nick's team works amazingly hard -- you will NEVER feel like anyone is wasting your time/money. The members of Nick's crew are also skilled, professional, and courteous -- every single one of them! 6. FINISHED PRODUCT: We are getting our house ready to sell -- we know that the work Nick and his team did added way more to the sale price of our home than what we paid for his services. Thank you, NIck and crew!

Used Sunrise two other times before. The first time they painted the entire outside of our home and the second time, they painted all of our interior doors including closet doors, which we had just replaced. This time I called Sunrise and Nick Cara came out right away to give me an estimate. He is always prompt and I never have to wait. I called him back the same day to tell him to go ahead with the job. He called me a few days later with a date he could start the job but it was four weeks away. I said okay even though I wished it was sooner but to my delight, he called me back a few days later and said he could start within a few days! He and the painter, Jimmy, came on Friday morning. Worked all day Friday & Saturday, then came back on Monday and finished everything. Nick would update me everyday and tell me what they were going to do next. Jimmy is a fantastic painter and very conscientious. He cleaned up after himself and I was amazed at how neat he was. When he finished a room, he would show me what he did. He has good reason to be proud of his workmanship. I am once again pleased with Sunrise Quality Painting. Everything they painted looks great!
