They were nice, efficient and did a good job

I called Sunrise Irrigation electric company to inspect my sprinkler system. I asked them to inspect every head , adjust sprinkler heads where needed and to give me a quote for any sprinkler heads that needed replacement The found 6 sprinkler heads that needed replacement and charged me $632 to replace the 6 sprinkler heads. They admitted that their price of $105 to replace each sprinkler was higher then most other companies. They also recommended that I extend one sprinkler out 3 feet with a new head and charged me $236. Total for the job was $868 The also recommended two other jobs total of $5000 and $1800. I approved the smaller job of $868. After I paid and was inspecting the final job I found sprinkler heads that were never adjusted. The serviceman told me that it is their company policy NOT TO ADJUST sprinkler heads that they did not install. That was not explained to me when I first called the company or when they came out to give me a quote. In fact I was told that he adjusted all sprinklers in his initial visit that all sprinklers were adjusted. Specifically about the job that was done. I have a 5 zone sprinkler system with heads still out of adjustment. I also found two other sprinkler heads that needed replacement. Also, the repairman while extending a line three feet he cut though our home Spectrum Internet Cable. He did not tell us that he did this. We needed to call Spectrum and have them come to the house to repair the line. I also found two of the sprinklers he did replace were not adjusted properly. Additionally, three water lines were broken and needed to be replaced when he tried to unscrew old sprinkler heads Now I need to call another sprinkler company to perform the work we initially asked Sunrise to do. After leaving a negative review on other service Sunrise left a message there for me to call them. I did call and after 5 minutes of them explaining to me how good they were I asked them if they would like to hear my complaint. The person I talked to told me that I signed a form saying I was happy with their service. I NEVER signed that form. I requested to send me that form so I can inspect the signature, I was asked to signed the form and I refused, instead I crossed a line thru it and told the technician to have his manager call me, which never happened. At the end of the phone call the person told me that they would come back out to fix the job I paid them to do. I declined because I do not want to take the chance that they will damage more things. I will never let them on my property again. My recommendation is to STAY AWAY. They are only interested in padding their bill, not fixing your system

I've used Sunrise in the past. Very good service. UNFORTUNATELY This time I waited over three weeks for an appointment. Fair enough. I receive a call the day before the appointment to reschedule. They ask me to wait wait another three weeks? My system has a couple of sprinklers heads I need replacing and have not been able to use it. I explained all this and received terrible service. Kind of unacceptable for a customer driven business.

I am not sure where the 4.9 star rating originated but it sure was not from installation of a drip irrigation system. I have converted from sod to a landscape of Florida natives and did not want to continue spraying water all over the mulch in between plants which only encourages weeds in the mulch. My request was a quote for a drip irrigation system. What I got after the quote was a bunch of drip hose layer on top of the existing mulch and not one drip emitter at any plant. To boot the brand new valve system was installed with a huge bow in the PVC. That all had to be removed only to next get miles of delivery hose, which now got buried and at least 50 sprayers which deliver 23 GPH. The whole point of Florida natives is to conserve on water. The valve manifold was replaced, #2. I proceeded to remove the sprayer and plug and/or replace them with drip emitters and discovered that the 2nd valve manifold was leaking at two of the valves. I was fed up! I requested a repair of the leaks and when the worker came to replace the manifold for the third time, I was told that the “supervisor” wanted me to sign something that said the 3 year warranty on the job would be null if I removed sprinklers or in any way altered the poor work they had done. Of course I did not sign anything of the sort. After the manifold was replaced, #3, and the guy left, I discovered AGAIN!!!! a valve leaking at the manifold. How could this be?!?! This would be the 3rd time. Please DO NOT use this company. They have no idea what drip irrigation is nor do they stand behind their work. I have never been so disappointed in trying to support a “local” company. They have failed me and will fail you too.

I would not recommend a company that can't quote you an hourly rate. Often time's a fixed quoted fee not based on actual time and hourly rate, will be set much higher than needed under that business model. I just wanted a sprinkler valve located and Sunrise Irrigation quoted an additional (advance) diagnostic fee of $500.00 to locate the valve, after I was being charged a 59.00 diagnostic fee for them to come out and spending 30 minutes to visually inspect the zones that were working. That additional quoted $500.00 would be equivalent to nearly 7 hours of work at 75.00 an hour (a going rate in the area) to locate a valve. With the equipment they have, they easily could have traced out and located that valve in an hour or less.

Awful. Was told the service call would be 79$, but, that would go towards repairs if we decided to continue. Things went down hill once they showed up. We were told It would be 545$ to diagnose our problem with no amount going towards repairs. Oh, and we still owe the 79$. Scammers!

It went awesome! We had been having problems with the sprinkler system since we bought the house a couple of years ago. We called out Sunrise to check into an issue with a sprinkler head. They found some other issues as well, which we were expecting. The technician arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained the various ways we could deal with the problem from a patching job to a more extensive revamping of the system. We decided to get the revamp since we knew we needed it, and the quote was extremely reasonable. We are very happy with the outcome. There were two technicians who worked on the project, and they both were diligent, professional and detail oriented. I would definitely recommend Sunrise to anyone who needs irrigation work.

Great company to have out. Mike was efficient, friendly, and definitely knew his stuff. Gave some great advice and provided reasonable pricing. He quickly found the issues and took care of them. Would definitely have them out again.

We had Sunrise Irrigation come out and repair a few items on our lawn irrigation. A week later we realized another issue in the back yard. We called and set up an appointment for the following week. We received a phone call that morning that the technician was sick and our appointment had to be rescheduled. The reschedule was for 2 days later at which point we received another phone call that the technician had a death in the family and the next available appointment was a week later. Well that day came and went with no phone call and no technician ever showing up. Would not recommend. While we understand a family run business may have emergencies the fact that we just had them out and they didn't realize we had an issue on one of the sprinklers and we tried to set up an additional appointent......got rescheduled tow times and then a NO SHOW. Very disappointed.

Lyle performed all repairs and replacement of non-functional parts in a very professional manner, and explained each step as he performed the services to revitalize our sprinkler water irrigation system. He set the timers on the panel box and it has been working perfectly. Thank you Lyle for a job well done.

I was out of town and my wife noticed a large accumulation of water in our backyard, Being early Saturday morning, we called a company who we previously used, but could not come out until Monday. I then thought of calling Sunrise since I remembered the company was local in Palm Harbor. Shelley answered the phone right away and I asked if there was any way someone could come over to our home since my wife was a bit anxious. Well: Joe came over within 10-15 minutes!!!!! He found the culprit sprinkler (on our neighbor's property) and shut off the sprinkler system to stop the water flow! Even after coming out on a Saturday, Joe did not charge us. It was an absolute PLEASURE do deal with Shelley and Joe: I highly recommend Sunrise Irrigation!!!!!

The technician did the work I asked (and more) and even stayed past working hours to finish the job.

We were very pleased with Justin's service. He thoroughly inspected our sprinkler system, then repaired & replaced sprinkler heads until it ran perfectly. Also replaced old control box with a new one that is much easier to use & he programmed it based on our watering days. Justin was competent, efficient & thorough.

Joe called us back promptly and scheduled an appointment within days. The company whose sticker was on the controls never called us back. He and his brother in law were very nice and very professional. Joe stated he gets called to fix a lot of other companys mistakes. He was here around 1 1/2 hours, did some digging, aimed all the sprinkler heads properly, put guard rings around the inground sprinkler heads and programmed the system for us. He said to call if we had any problems and he would come right out. He is also part of a group of small business owners and said if we needed other work, he could give us a referral to someone he knew did good work. I thought the price was very reasonable for a great job. The lawn looks good.

We exchanged emails and phone calls and were able to agree on a mutually convenient time to meet at the residence. He immediately went to work and was quick, did a great job in repairing all the heads that were broken and provided me with suggested improvements, which I will take him up when I have the funds. Joe responded to all of my questions with patience and professionalism. He walked me through exactly what I needed to do and was very prompt with the appointments to do the connections for the reclaim water and for the county inspection. The work was completed on time and there were no surprises. I will use him again whenever I need his type of services.

I called him last minute, and was able to fit me in. He was not late. Looks like good work, albeit I don't anything about sprinklers except on or off.
