Description of Work: My wife and I originally went to the RCI Flooring, 33937 Us-19 N, Palm Harbor, FL, to look for wood laminate and to find out what kind of prices they had. Upon checking out the laminates, we did not find any in-stock laminate to our liking. But, we did find the laminates at the store was reasonably priced with a good price on installation. The salesman, Michael, told us if we found laminate elsewhere, they would install the laminate for us. |We did find Allen & Roth 10mm laminate with attached pad at lowes that we liked. We contacted michael to find out what installation cost would be. To install the flooring we picked out elsewhere the cost for RCI Flooring to install was $1.50 a sq ft (which also included supplying and putting down the 1/4 round over the newly installed laminate) plus $50.00 to remove our carpet. We would also have to buy the moister barrier and they would install it at no cost. There was no charge for moving furniture around and all the add on cost that you find at most of the other stores. |On the first day of install, Lewis, Nate and Josh were very punctual and started work immediately after introducing themselves. As I watched the trio work, they knew exactly what they were doing and worked pretty quick. The job took an extra half day, but that was due to having to float a floor for levelness. When the job was done the one word I have would be stunning. These guys did a great job and were very professional. |If I was to recommend anything to someone putting down wood laminate (I would do this myself if I had to do it all over again and knew what I know now) even though I already had a padding attached to the laminate, I would have had RCI Flooring additionaly put down their premium padding that was an all-in-one with a moisture barrier. I would not have used the 6mm plastic moisture barrier I purchased. The added all-in-one padding would be more of a sound barrier againt concrete than the plastic moister barrier. I just wish someone at the company would have suggested this to me prior to this installation. I would have spent the extra $.50 a sq ft for the premium all-in-one padding instead of using the plastic moister barrier. But, this does not take away from the professionalism and fantastic job the RCI Flooring crew did. We do love our new flooring. Thank you RCI Flooring. I would definately recommend this company for installing laminate flooring. The original cost of install was $1400.00 an additional $330.00 was added because of the floor floating. the first 25 sq ft of flooring float is free and after that is $2.50 sq ft.

Description of Work: RCI installed engineered bamboo wood flooring in my living/dining room and master bedroom.

Description of Work: We are using RCI Wood Flooring to put down wood floors.

Description of Work: We have been negotiating to replace a recently installed floor. Chris has been very helpful in showing us possible new tile and letting us take samples home to see how they would match our decor. Although we could not find a porcelin tile in the right size we found a ceramic tile that would work. We have an acceptable quote and will go forward with the project. Chris will let us know when the product will be delivered and schedule the work.

Description of Work: RCI Flooring removed 28-year-old carpeting from the dining and living areas and replaced with hardwood flooring.
