very good Bret and Kurt very professional, courteous, on time. Everything went very quickly and smoothly. They answered all my questions both on the initial estimate by Kurt and with the install with Bret.

Kurt came out and gave us a preliminary estimate and then returned during construction of the deck to lay his cables so they would be under the deck. Once the deck and dock were completed, Kurt returned to finish putting the lights in place. We were very happy with the finished product and he make some great suggestions on type of lights and where to place them.

They?ve been great with follow up. I?m able to easily contact them when I need something or have a question. For the installation, they were prompt and professional and provided a great product!

Received 5 quotes from different landscape lighting companies. Each had their own preferred lighting mfr. and design ideas. My wife and I wasn't sure which landscape features (plants and fa ade) should be lit, and didn t want to end up with the wrong effect (for example, too dim or too bright). Kurt, co-owner of NL, literally spent hours with us patiently designing and demonstrating various lights. Of all 5 vendors, he had the largest variety of lighting fixtures to choose from. This was important because we needed the flexibility to achieve our particular look. Kurt was clued into our thinking better than the other vendors, as we incorporated about 90% of his suggestions. Although there s no way for a consumer like me to tell how long the equipment will hold up in our climate, it definitely has the look and feel of being professional grade, and the warranty (much of it lifetime) is reassuring (labor is included). Installation was top notch. The work itself was meticulously performed with great attention to quality and to protecting our pre-existing irrigation system and plants. Upon completion, our landscape looked as though it hadn t been touched. Since installation is done during the daytime, it s hard to fine-tune the lights at that time. Kurt came back out at night twice to adjust them, making sure we had the effect we were looking for. Since our lights are only a few months old, we haven t had to call NL out for service, but I have no doubt they ll be just as responsive when we need them again. The company is really customer focused. My wife and I are extremely pleased with how the landscape lighting turned out and feel it was worth the price we paid. We ve received many compliments from our neighbors. Some advice: Don t assume you can replicate the effect with Malibu Lights from Home Depot; there s no comparison. While I think all the vendors we got quotes from would have done a competent job, we strongly believe we received a higher level of service and achieved a better design with NL. That's why I took the time to write this, and why my wife and I have absolutely no hesitation recommending them to others.
