Description of Work: Beware of a person posting popcorn removal and drywall services including smooth finishing stating he has 35 years in trades. He goes by the name John and his phone number is 727-280-3073 but he can change this. His real name is Ingo Sumner. View his mugshot below from his recent arrest for performing contract work without a license and if he quotes you, do NOT hire him unless you want to get screwed. He was 75% the way done hanging the drywall and gave me a sob story for the full amount of his draw for the drywall hanging($1,000) plus an extra $100. After I paid him that, he left the job. When I called him to ask why and if he will be back, he said even though he gave me a written quote for $2,750 to hang and finish the drywall...he misquoted the job and the new price for him to finish was $5,000. How do you misquote a job by 50% if you have 35 years experience doing this? I asked him if he was finishing the hanging job and at first he said no and then after further discussion he said yes. But after a week of him giving me excuses for not showing up, it was obvious he was not finishing the job so I had to hire someone else to finish the job. I hope it was worth it to him to basically steal $400.
