They arrived when they said they would, had real qualified technicians inspect the issue and quickly had a plan of action in place. (This in itself is a HUGE deal! We had another long established south Tampa company send a teenager by after calling them for several days and waited for a quote for almost two weeks.) Anyway, Heavenly was able to schedule us right away and reassure us that they could replace and repair any bad wood with pressure treated/marine grade lumber. Also, they reinforced some of the areas that appeared to have a slope. And they were able to do this work from underneath while the other company concluded they would need to tear out the floors and do the work from the inside out. Talk about panic! After the wood was replaced, repairs made and structure secured, they drilled more vents in the foundation and covered it with pvc coverings. This was done to provide more ventilation. Then they installed a fan at the the entrance to the space that cycles on and off and continuously circulates air underneath the house. This part of the work was approximately $5000. About a month later we asked them to return and cover that work with Tyvek which is an application that has become code in the state for new homes with crawl spaces. It is a vapor barrier and prevents moisture from entering the house. This was approximately $2800. We decided to do the secondary work to give any potential buyers every confidence that we repaired everything in a professional and responsible manner. Justin did not push this but did think it was a good idea. Justin and Ed gave us great confidence in the quality of their work and the skill of the crew. They are knowledgeable and guarantee their work. The workers they brought with them were friendly and polite and kept the work area outside picked up and clean. Also, we asked them about a few other vendors and we were very happy with the recommendations that Heavenly Foundations provided. I think I would trust this firm with about anything. We never felt pushed or pressured to do anything other than what was required to do the work correctly. They sent pictures of the work while we were out of town and clearly explained each step. And, by the way, I misunderstood the amount of the second job and over paid by a couple of hundred dollars. Justin alerted me as soon as he received it and I had that overage back very quickly! Not sure how many other companies would do that. We highly recommend Heavenly Foundations! They are professional, responsive and doing business with them was a pleasure.
Description of Work: While our house was on the market, we had a home inspection and found there to be some problems with some rotted wood in the structure in the crawl space in the old (1942) part of the house. Some of the joists were damaged due to age and lack of proper ventilation in the crawl space. We were concerned about the foundation and what this meant. We called Heavenly Foundations to conduct an inspection and tell us how and if they could fix it.

Justin sent a great crew of three who repaired the stucco and repainted that exterior wall to match the rest of the house. They repaired wood that was rotted on window sills and painted that area. Ed very good at wood working - he repaired a shutter that we could not find a replacement for. Crew was neat and courteous. I would highly recommend Heavenly Foundations.

Heavenly Foundations laid a concrete sidewalk and driveway pad for us. It leads from the street to the back of the house to a garage in the back. They acquired the permit and went over all the desired details with us before the work began. The work was started and finished in one day. Justin Jones the owner came several times throughout the day to check on the progress. We were very pleased with the friendliness of the workers and concrete supervisor. We would use Heavenly Foundations again and will recommend this business to others. Of all the quotes we received, they were the only ones that called back to get the job.

In January of 2012 we hired Heavenly Foundation to reroof a house we had just bought. I stayed at the house the whole job and the job was well done. Feeling comfortable with their work I hired them again to replace a roof and do some of the remodeling on a house we were getting ready to move into, while we were out of state getting ready to move to Florida. Once again the roof was done well. The remodeling, which I paid a PREMIUM price, did not go well. The remodeling they were hired to do was 1. Build a short fence, which was built on my neighbors property. 2. Repair living room ceiling/retexture ceiling which was done with subpar craftsmanship and did not retexture ceiling properly. 3. Replace the soffit and fascia with plastic composite wood so it would not rot, crack or need painting. It is now cracking and molding since they instead installed pine wood, which is a much cheaper material. After 6 months of empty promises to fix the problem we went to mediation, 09/2013, and it was decided Heavenly Foundation would pay 39 monthly refund payments instead of rendering a judgment against them. Needless to say, just like their empty promises, they have made 4 late payments and are now nonpayment on the last 2 months.

Told the story above. Apparently only threats of lawsuit work with this person/company.
Description of Work: Discovered leak in garage roof from tropical storm Debbie this spring (2012). Upon advice of my realtor and friend, called Heavenly Foundations to repair roof. Made appointment to have roof repaired July 5, 2012 (after several missed appointments). They showed up then stated the roof was going to cost more than original estimate because job was larger than expected. I ok'd the additional amount. When they showed up w/the cement tiles, they were grey, but my roof is WHITE cement tiles. I refused to accept them as they wanted to then paint the tiles white. I said NO WAY - I wanted the correct white cement tiles. After numerous delays, they did arrive w/correct tiles. Since I'm 77 years old, I'm unable to climb on a roof anymore, so had to believe they would do a good job. Soon after it was completed, I had several neighbors ask what was wrong with my roof. I walked across the street to see what they meant. Also called another roofer to check what was wrong with my new roof repair. He said whoever did it had no experience working with roofing and they had made a total mess of placing tiles - looked like they were thrown up there and stayed any which way they landed - did not conform to rest of alignment of roof. This roofer said it was one of the worst jobs he had ever seen. When I spoke with the owner of the company (he had never been here, just passed the job on to a "manager"), he asked me to give him a chance to fix the roof the correct way and replace the mess. After he promised to "make it right", I agreed. This was in beginning of August. Then followed NUMEROUS calls and messages - with no response from the owner. And I mean many, many, many phone calls and messages left that were not returned at all! Finally, I contacted my realtor who had recommended him and asked what I should do next. He offered to give me the name of a real estate lawyer if I wanted it. My realtor also began calling/texting the owner every week, along with my phone calls/messages. He would talk to my realtor, but never called me. Finally I gave him 1 week to do the repair correctly or I was contacting a lawyer to sue him. Within 6 days the roof was repaired properly. I haven't heard from him since and I will NEVER use this company again for anything! "

I totally screwed up on this project. The tile roof underlayment was done correctly but reseting the tiles was awful. My 3 yr old could have done a better job. I made a promise to get this fixed for these nice folks and followed through. My timeliness was not good and communications skills were at an all time low. I apologized to the Member and made it right. I took my learning lesson and will do better in the future. Sincerly, Justin Jones President HF

Heavenly Foundations was referred to us by another contractor given the scope of work we wanted performed. Justin Jones , the owner came out and met with my husband and me to give us estimates for the four different projects we wanted his company to bid on. My husband and I were struck by how personable, professional and knowledgeable Justin was. We initially hired his firm to perform two of our four projects which they completed last Friday. Justin had three of his crew arrive well in advance of their scheduled arrival time to assess the work they would be performing, take some last minute measurements and ensure that they had all the materials needed to perform the job. His crew was polite, knowledgeable and professional. They made sure they protected all our floors with floor coverings and were extremely neat...which is not easy given that they were working with drywall, texturing and paint. Justin and another senior member of Justin's firm came over several times during the day to check on the projects and make sure the crew had everything they needed and were meeting and exceeding our expectations. And that they did! We were extremely pleased with the work they did and the professionalism of their entire staff. We have since hired them for our other two projects (roofing and a bathroom remodel) which are scheduled in a few weeks. We would highly recommend Heavenly Foundations!!

I have to give HF an A+. Wade as the estimator was easy to work with and stopped by frequently. The team that came to do the work, Blair and JJ, were professional, polite and knew what they were doing. They took pride in their work and it showed with everything they did. Since I work from home, I was able to observe first hand how well they worked together as a team. They cleaned up at the end of each day, always letting us know if they were leaving for lunch or for the day. They let us know what time they would return on the following day and they were true to their word. We are very happy with the work performed and will request services again of this company, and if possible, the same work crew.
Description of Work: Heavenly Foundations (2706 Alt 19 North #258, Palm Harbor, Florida 34683 PH 727-789-5300) provided us three estimates. One for new siding (hardiboard was recommended). A second for a new roof and a third for replacing my soffits. The estimates were clear, concise in details and I was provided both a hard copy and also they emailed me a copy. The work performed was for new siding and soffit replacement. We plan to add the new roof in the next phase.

No satisfaction. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Description of Work: I contacted this outfit through a recommendation from the gentleman who inspected our home prior to our purchase. Justin came out and I told him I wanted French doors in my master bedroom. He called a few weeks later and told me he had a "deal" for me, that some other customer returned 2 pr. of french doors because they were not the right color and asked me if I wanted them, that they were bronze on the outside and white on this inside, which is what I wanted. When they were delivered by a subcontractor who works for them, they were unfinished on both the out and inside. I was told, you can paint them bronze and white. Before the doors were delivered, I received a phone call from Boni Doors in Tampa, which is where the doors are made, and they asked me what I wanted, ie. color, low - e glass, blinds in them. This to me sounds like a new order, not doors that were returned. I immediately contacted Justin when the doors were delivered and told him I did not want them, that they were of poor quality. He assured me he would have someone pick them up. This was over 2 months ago, and after numerous phone calls to Justin, kept getting excuse after excuse. He finally sent his father over to pick them up on a day we were not home, after we told him we would be home on Wednesday to help his father load the doors. "Dad" showed up on Tuesday. Needless to say, the doors are still sitting here and today after I sent an e-mail to Justin, did I get a response they do not have a "contract" with me, that the doors were delivered by a 3rd party and the doors were delivered at my request. I did not call and order these doors, I was contacted by Justin. After speaking with Wade Kollar, who is a business partner of Justin's, he promised me that he would handle this, that this was not the way they do business. Apparently, it is. I have yet gotten any satisfaction and proceeded to send a complaint to the BBB and will be contacting a local Consumer Reporter from a local t.v. news cast.

I introduced her to Bonnies doors company of Tampa. I told her about 2 sets of doors that would fit in her opening. I gave her Bonnies Doors number to work out some of the specifications. Once she worked out the details with them, she gave her credit card info to Bonnies doors and purchased 2 doors. Bonnies doors does not deliver or pickup. I arranged with a 3rd party to have her doors picked up and delivered to her house at no charge. Once the doors arrived she told the delivery company the doors were poor quality. I got a call later to please have the doors picked up and returned to Bonnies doors. I informed my crew who was around her house to see if he could get the doors returned to Bonnies on his way back from Pasco county. The doors didnt fit and we told her to make other arrangements. She tried to cancel payment with Bonnies doors and has been unsuccessful and now she has turned to us. Again, I have no contract, no deposit, no liability with her. I have contacted Bonnies doors and they will not take the doors back, the order was placed over 30 days ago. I cannot force Bonnies to return the doors and refund her money. I cannot help her. She needs to have the doors returned via 3rd party and argue her point with Bonnies Doors about the quality. Justin Jones, HF-Owner

For starters, the finer details, such as the trim around where the tile meets the rest of the wall was uneven. Some parts were done nicely, others very sloppy. The shower was basically torn out and replaced, and when I began using it after the job was done, it leaked, not only out of the shower it's self, but under and through the same wall they completely demoed and rebuilt, in to my master bedroom. They sent people out 3 different times to fix the same problem before they finally got it nipped. When I would tell them I wanted them to fix the trim, to make it look professional, they told me it was as good as they were willing to make it. I said "so are you telling me you're going to leave the sloppy parts sloppy and not make it look professional?" They told me that even professional jobs have sloppy parts and details when they are done, and that to fix their mistakes would cost them more time than it was worth. I told them I have seen many refinished and remodeled bathrooms and that I have never seen one with so many mistakes and eye sores. One of them literally rolled his eyes and said "what ever." The main bathroom had some of the same problems. Sloppy trim, nail holes not filled in, some corners and trim not painted at all. I had someone come over who had not seen the bathrooms since before the work was done and asked them to tell me what they saw. they saw every detail I saw. They felt the work was sloppy and the numerous mistakes stuck out like a sore thumb. Both bathrooms had pain bubbles on the walls, one of the base boards that they repainted had paint dribbles on it, the edges of the door frame were left unpainted, even though they were specified as part of the job, the list goes on. I called the company and expressed my anger over this, they apologized and said they would send their best guy out to get it all taken care of. I showed him where both bathrooms were and figured he would fix everything. He came to me less than 10 minutes after he started and said he was done. I went to look and he had only fixed 2 out of the 15 mistakes in the master bathroom. I pointed them all out to him, he agreed it was sloppy. I asked him why he said he was done, and he changed the subject. 10 minutes later, he once again tells me he's done. I go to look again, and again, he had only fixed 2 more of the mistakes. The whole time he was there he complained about how tight he was for time, about how he needed to get to his other jobs. I told him no, they sent you here to fix the mistakes they made, and you need to focus on this house and fix the mistakes you were sent here to fix, not check your watch every 10 seconds and not try to rush through this leaving most of the mistakes unfixed. He worked between both of the bathrooms another 20 minutes, and yet again, many of the mistakes were still not fixed! Mind you, when I pointed them all out the first time, I was annoyed I even had to... he's suppose to be an expert... he should see them just like my friend and I did. He acknowledged each one, yet repeatedly left most of them unfixed and telling me he was done. Finally, when he called me back to look at it all once more, he said "this is as good as it's going to get. To finish fixing the rest of these mistakes is going to cost more that what it's worth to fix it. Many of these mistakes were on the same wall that they rebuilt from the ground up. No one else touched any of the walls work wise other than them. I told him that since I had paid for a professional job, I wanted professional results, and that means a great looking bathroom, not a good one that has lost of flaws. He refused to do anymore, even though he did acknowledge the rest of the mistakes, and he told me he would talk with his "project manager" about what still needed to be done and that the project manager would give me a call. 3 days later, still having not called me, I decided to call the project manager. When I spoke with him he told me he was aware of the problems but that it just wasn't worth it to them to fix their mistakes because it would cost too much. I told him that he should have thought about that when he took my money. He said, it is what it is and you'll just have to live with it!!!! I gave them a bad grade for punctuality not so much because they were late... only a couple of times... but because they routinely left early to go work on other jobs before they finished with the jobs they were doing at my house. My house was apparently less important to them than some of the others on their list. Bottom line, both bathrooms still look like an amateur painted and trimmed them, and in the bathroom with the tiles, the cocking is a mess :(
Description of Work: Full remodel of Master Bath which included digging out and replacing shower pan, replacing of vanity, adding a large cabinet (not part of vanity) complete demo of 1 wall, partial demo of another wall, replacing the walls, installing 1 new door and new baseboards for the walls that were demoed and rebuilt. All of the tile on the walls of the bathroom (including shower) replaced, 1 electrical outlet installed and the bathroom light was replaced. In the main bathroom some drywall was replaced, and the whole bathroom was to be repainted.

The owner Justin Jones, himself, is a genuine and easy to work with guy. I got several bids before I went with him and his bid was 3k cheaper than the lowest of the other prices. He also gave me the best vibe out of all the contractors. The end result is a great quality roof, but the regular and the flat roof. I could not be happier about the new roof, or the price. Justin Jones is a true professional who is very responsive, up front, insightful, and always respectful. The problems I had were with the roofers. They would work real hard when they first arrived, but then would take 1:30 or longer lunch breaks, tons of smoke breaks, etc. My neighbors had their roof redone.... their normal, angled roof is about the size of mine and it was done in half the time with no mess or issues afterwards. Unfortunately, I can not say the same for Justin's roofers. There were cigarette buts all over my back yard, a few empty soda bottles, and worst of all, lots of large nails.. I had a dog at that time and so I asked them to be extra diligent in picking up any of the loose nails each day when they left. They did not do that as they said they would. Every day when they were done I found several large nails in my back yard, along with the cigarette buts and trash. They were constantly swearing and yelling. I even got a complaint from my neighbor across the street. I did talk to Justin, and after that they did tone that down a lot... They did not stop, but it was a lot less. All in all the roofers did great quality work, but were far from professional in any other aspect. I would likely hire them to work on my roof in the future, as like I said the quality of the roof is terrific, and so was the price, but I can't say I'd look forward to having to clean up after the roofers again. This was a few years ago now, but I am new to Angie's List, so that's why it's taken me so long to make this report. Justin Jones, great guy, like him a lot. His roofers, not so much. Given that years have passed, however, his roofers may be nicer to deal with now.
Description of Work: The roof was completely replaced, and the flat portion of the roof was angled slightly when it was replaced to prevent the pooling of water on the flat roof.

Thank you for personal review. My roofers, there roofers. I have to stay on top of them at all times. The roof looks great and 3 years later no issues. Justin

I had a traumatic experience with them on a major remodeling work. I would not recommend them to anybody. They did do the sheet rock and painting. They told me what they could do. I had to spend $6000 to get things straightened out. I had to contact Better Business Bureau. I would not use them in the future.
Description of Work: I used Heavenly Foundations Inc a little over two years ago for remodel work.

This was definitely not how this went. The job was completely done other than some punch out items-painting and minor touch ups. He didn't want to pay his final bill and thought if he fired my company he would get out of final payment. (removed member name) tried to tell his story to the mediator at BBB and then settled on paying partial of his final. My company took a hit and got an expensive education on this job. Thanks to his lovely wife (removed member name) we got paid and moved on. I was later invited back by his wife to see the final product and his kitchen is gorgeous...Justin

Wonderful
Description of Work: I had a roof proposal appointement with HF, the estimator made the appt on time. The proposal was for an upgraded roof by GAF. The warranty was the best 25yrs no questions asked. The estimate was a little higher than competitors but were extremely happy with our new roof. The crew was clean and polite.

I am so happy I found reliable Roofing Company. I had been trying to get a quote on a small job for almost 2 weeks from several other roofing companies and finally gave up. A friend of mine suggested Heavenly Foundations Roofing. They took the info and photos via e-mail. Then they proceeded to give me some suggestions, a range of prices, and what I needed to do to in order to prepare for their arrival. The day we had scheduled for the work the man showed up on time, worked quickly, and did a great job. I'm very happy and recommend them to anyone I know who needs Roofing work completed.
Description of Work: Due to recent storms a tree fell on my roof leaving significant damage. By the time I found Heavenly Foundations my son and I moved the tree but there was damage we could not repair. I do not know all the details of what had to be done but there was patching and reshingling.
