Greenlite Movers

I was contacted first thing in the morning following my purchase of the 2 men $199 special here on Angie's List and scheduled the move for the day and time we wanted. They arrived on time and fully equipped with all packing supplies - they protect the floors by laying down moving blankets everywhere following a walk through of the house and discussion of a plan of attack. They were quick, efficient and most importantly careful. The owner stuck around until lunch and helped pack up the kitchen and did not charge us for his time. They busted their humps and we ended up having to make two trips and the three hours turned into 8 hours, mainly because I underestimated the amount to of work. In the end I wish I had ordered the three man team - as opposed to the two, I didn't think it was necessary, but in the end I think it would have moved much faster with three and probably cost the same or less because of the hours it would have saved. Highly recommend them!

The service was excellent. The two movers were early, were professional and treated the furniture very carefully. They were fantastic with my younger children, yet they were hard workers with minimal breaks. The workers let me know when they took 5 minutes after 2-3 hours worth of work and got back to work quickly. No scratches to the furniture or home... just great gentlemen all around. I would highly recommend Greenlite to anyone.

I have used other movers in the past - even other movers that I found on Angie's List. None of those experiences were anywhere close to my experience with Greenlite movers. I will never use another moving company again! From the very beginning, Steve, the owner, was very responsive. The two men that work with him were pleasant, careful with my things, and worked hard. They even fixed a bed that was put together incorrectly by another moving company. My experience with Greenlite movers could not have gone any better!

This move entailed removing a single bed from one bedroom and then moving a queen bed into that room. There were a couple of other small, but heavy pieces that were also moved. The single bed was then taken to another family member's home nearby and a trundle bed was removed from that home, for donation. Chad and David were right on time. They were professional, efficient, and very nice. This move, although small, was very disruptive for my elderly mother and Chad and David could not have been more patient and understanding. I would recommend Greenlite movers to anyone and will definitely call them again myself. The $135 cost was a special offer through Angie's List and there was also a standard $40 trip charge. The special was for 2 men, up to two hours. It was well worth it.

I moved my parents from their 2-bedroom home of 30 years, located in Palm Harbor, to a small apartment in an assisted living facility in the Safety Harbor/Clearwater area so we had to downsize significantly Greenlite moved my parents' bedroom furniture (dresser, chest of drawers, two night stands, TV, small table, one upholstered chair, and 3 pieces of living room furniture (loveseat, one end table, lamp/table, small flat screen TV, one upholstered chair, two small tables, and several boxes of personal items, which I packed.. Dave and Chad called ahead of time to say they were on their way, arrived on time, introduced themselves and quickly went to work. They padded the front door way, wrapped all upholstered furniture in plastic wrap, and used moving pads for more fragile items like electronic equipment. When we arrived at the assisted living facility, they quickly unloaded everything and asked me where everything should be placed. Since my parents' new apartment is small, they were helpful in making suggestions as to where different pieces should go. Chad and Dave were polite, cheerful, and very professional. The move was completed in under 2 hours. My friends, who live in a 3-story townhouse in Clearwater, used Greenlite back in August to dispose of a loveseat, one long table, and a mattress from the third floor. Since they had a very positive experience, I decided to use Greenlite for my own move.

I have moved quite a few times and this experience far exceeded any I have had in the past. Steve Kelbin was my main contact and he went above and beyond to accommodate me as I juggled through things to finalize a date and time for my move. Chad and Dave arrived on my moving day and from beginning to end i was completely comfortable and very satisfied. They padded doorways, used floor runners and eco friendly bands instead of using tape that adds to the excess waste in our landfills. ALL of these extra measures taken to insure the protection of my walls, (which were all just freshly painted) floors and furniture were especially appreciated and quite a surprise to me that I had never seen these measures used before. This includes experiences with local and long distance movers with very recognizable names and many years to their credit. I now know what to expect in the future and will always use Greenlite if my move is within their scope. In addition to the arduous task of sorting, re-arranging, using a small elevator at the storage place, lifting heavy solid wood furniture up several stair cases, Chad and Dave remained patient, thoughtful, and in remarkably good spirits. I never felt like any thing I asked for or needed was an imposition. I can't say that about all the experiences that I have had. Quite honestly, Chad and Dave were always steps ahead of me and did far more than I ever expected. I have a very large wall unit that THEY were concerned was not stable on carpeting. They were the first crew ever to take the time to even care about that . They stabilized it and I no longer have to worry about anything falling. Yes, it had happened before: the corner section fell and broke a window in the middle of the night. I realized I failed to tell them about connecting a lighting system in the wall unit. I called Steve and he arranged for the work to be done at my convenience which happened to be the next day at no additional charge to me. How often does that happen? So yes, this is definitely the moving company that you can be sure will take care of you and your precious belongings.

I wish there was a grade higher than an A to give this company. All I can say is "WOW!" Wish all companies were this prompt, courteous, and professional. Steven and crew were the best movers we've ever dealt with, treating our possessions as though they were their own. They went the extra mile too, suggesting we place rubber pans under washer and dryer to prevent rust from getting on new tile, felt pads for furniture to protect new flooring and hinged door stoppers. When we had to change our move date at the last minute they were very accomodating. And Steven came back the next day to tweek the shake of the washing machine and make sure it was properly balanced. They worked very hard, quickly and efficiently. Their prices are competitive too.

This complicated move went exactly as we had hoped. Greenlite Movers arrived on time, worked quickly and took great care with our stuff. Nothing was damaged and placement in our new home was exactly where we wanted it to be. They took special care with some of our larger items including TV, piano, art work and plants. They were creative and resourceful in meeting our special needs. Because of real estate transactions it was a two day 60 mile move that could have gone very wrong without the care provided by this company, its management and employees. Our experience would cause us to highly recommend them.

They showed up promptly and I was running late so I had to have a security guard let these men in to my Father's home. When I arrived they were well ahead of where I thought they would be and were extremely professional. They even had padding around the front door frame so as to not risk nicking the entrance way. The tile and carpeting had covered pathways and every precaution was made. They moved at a fast pace but were very careful. It was extremely evident that Steven & David have been packing and moving people's treasures for quite some time. Upon arriving on the other end of the move, their quality work and professionalism were replicated while moving everything into my home. They even retrofitted headboards from one set of beds with beds from another since they did not align properly. I was very impressed with every aspect of their work and their attention to details. I will hire Greenlite Movers for any size job I ever have ~ they were awesome!!

I simply cannot imagine any movers could be better than these guys. Fair price, great communication, came with an extra guy, true professionals (15-20 years experience, wrapped everything, military precision, fast, careful) who moved quickly but carefully and did an incredible job. They would be an A+ in every category if Angie's had A+.

We took advantage of the Angies list deal of 2men for 2the hours. Steve and Chad arrived on time and wrapped everything up in the 2 hours. Everything was handled with care and everything was placed where we wanted it. They were efficient and professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and use them if we need to move again.

They arrived early and honestly went right to work. They were so professional. Nothing was broken, that was a beautiful thing. Everything was wrapped and handled beautifully. As hot as it was, they had a smile on their faces the whole time. They were great, they did what they said they were doing to do.

Arrived at the agreed upon time, brought everything needed for the move, careful with walls, floors, doorways, wrapped furniture to care for it. Did lots of extra things that made the day easier. Made sure everyone was satisfied. Made sure everything was in the proper place before they left. Included several other stops to pick up furniture as part of the move and this was very helpful. Very professional, competent and kind.

Overall, the service was commendable. The provider showed up with a team that was friendly and approachable, as well as prompt, and ready to get the job done. Everyone was consistently aware of their surroundings, so as not to scratch walls or damage the furniture. I would definitely recommend this company going forward, and appreciate their willingness to travel to Tampa despite them being located in Clearwater.

Being military for 31 years and having moved 15 times I have first hand knowledge of what a quality move entails. This move exceeded all expectations in terms of timeliness, moving massive and heavy furniture easily, safely and efficiently. Before the move started, the crew explained everything about the move to include how the house structure would be protected by large, soft mats and how the furniture irself would be loaded, unloaded and protected. All this was explained in easy to understand terms. There was no wasted time and each member of the movers team showed how an experienced, truly professional team functions. Would highly recommend this mover and will definitely use myself for my next move and that of my parents, friends and neighbors.

We were having about 1100 square feet of flooring replaced. We needed all the furniture moved to an outside POD and garage. They arrived exactly on time, Steve discussed thoroughly what was to be accomplished and immediately started work. Probably one of the most efficient companies I have ever worked with. We have a lot of upscale furniture and I was not concerned at all once I saw their approach. Everything was thoroughly wrapped and protected to include narrow door jambs. Defects in the furniture were pointed out BEFORE they were moved and recommendations were given on how to fix. EVERYTHING was carefully and professionally disassembled. They were completely prepared. We will definitely be using them in a few weeks to return the the furniture, and in the future if ever needed. Highly to recommend!!!

Without exception, the BEST moving experience I have ever had. The owner shows up to review the move ahead of time, and then.......and hold your breath for this one.....shows up to help move with his extremely proficient team. I hired a 3 man team and all three showed up. NOT like the last time I hired a moving company. They were all men, not boys. They were friendly, courteous, experienced and EFFICIENT! They came in and rocked the place. I've never seen anyone clear out a home like these guys. They worked solid. No cigarette breaks, no gabbing with the neighbors. They provided boxes for free, wrapped everything very carefully, asked questions (frequently) - which just goes to show their intelligence factor. They did not assume anything and had suggestions when I was stumped. They were professionals to the nth degree. ALL items made it to my home - nothing ended up just "kinda" left on the truck this time. My bed was put back together correctly - WITH ALL THE PARTS ! It is surprisingly refreshing to find a moving company with the integrity Greenlite shows. They truly bend over backwards to do the job right - and to the customer's complete satisfaction. When they are done, they walk you from room to room and ask if there is "anything" that you need to have done. I have already had one follow-up call, and expect them to return to pick up the boxes when I have finished emptying them out - another hassel they save us from. Thank you, Greenlite for all the caring you put into your work. If, as a customer, you go with any other moving company, I wish you the best of luck......you'll need it. Greenlite Movers did a terrific job. They were punctual, energetic, thorough, and personable. After I mentioned that I had found them on Angie's List, Steven offered me a discount without my having to ask. Steven is the owner but also half of the 2-man team who did the backbreaking work (in the Florida heat). They moved a couch, futon, 2 dressers, a mattress, and misc furniture, plus many boxes, to the new place, all in only 2 hours. They provided several wardrobe boxes which made moving hanging clothes easy. I felt that Greenlite's price was very fair and that they worked hard to make the whole experience painless for us. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Mr. Keblin had dropped of different size boxes and packing tape on request before the move date which helped us quite a bit. We scheduled a move date and was told 2 people would do the job. Mr. Keblin actually brought total 3 people (including himself) to do the job without charging us anymore. They were very punctual and courteous. They even covered the walkways with mats. They wrapped all the furniture carefully and secured the items in the truck. Driving to second home was also slow and careful. The whole time, they never stopped once but only to take a 5 min break every few hours. The speed at which they moved was steady even though it was very hot outside. In the end, they cleaned up everything and we couldn't have been more satisfied. Great people, great service, and great company. I would definitely use them again even for a few items.

Steven and his crew were some of the best movers I have ever used. These guys were efficient, courteous and very careful with all our equipment and items. Even though they spent over 11.5 hours for the move. Steven did not feel right about charging for more then 10 hours, which was his original budget. They even went back to the old space after moving everything and disposed of some old pieces and items we did not want. Steven was recommended by one of my staff members who had used them to move there residence. She was so impressed by them she said we had to use them because they were so good and reasonable. I cannot say enough about how non stressful they made the whole office move go. You will not be disappointment if you hire this company. Jim Dixon

Steve and his crew arrived on time and were extremely professional. They quickly packed everything up and loaded it into their truck. They took extreme care of everything and nothing was damaged. They had to take everything up a flight of stairs at the new apartment and placed everything where it belonged. there is no question that when we are ready to move again Greenlite movers will be handling the move.

I hired Greenlite movers because they only schedule 1 move per day and the owner attends all his moves. My closings were a couple of hours apart and he was the only company I found NOT to charge waiting time in between the 2 closings .They were on time , fast and took extra care with my belongings They also supplied ALL the boxes at no charge. I couldnt find anything even close to all of these things combined I would have paid double what I paid them and wouldnt have got everything that they included...Thanks so much for making my move pain free . Great! I called around and got several prices and Greenlite was the lowest. Steve and his men showed up on time and worked quickly and worked hard from start to finish. I would highly recommend Greenlite!!
